I went to eat at this restaurant on June 19, 2023. Had my likes and dislikes. My sister ordered the full ribs for £25.75 and it came out good. While I ordered the the ultimate american grill, mixed grill, which was a £29.50 it came out too dry, some pieces of meat are very hard.

The food quality was bellow average and way over priced. We ordered two kinds of burgers and both were very dry. The appetizers were mediocre. The Sunday was 👎. Overall way overpriced.

The food is good, I would give them that. They have good ribs in here. I wasn’t able to enjoy the food though because of how a particular staff treated us, she was so curt and rude she shouldn’t be working in the service industry. That ruined the whole experience for me. I was happy to have lunch there because of the things we’ve been through the past couple of days, but I couldn’t even enjoy the ribs I ordered. The nice man who switched places with her is kind and attentive, but that server really ruined the meal for me. I would give the service 2 stars but that man saved it.

Came in tonight food was dreadful. I used to love TGI Fridays. But today was just awful. Never had such a dry and burnt burger. Even the chips were dry like they had been sitting under a heatlamp for ages. For the price being charged you would be better going to Mc Donald's. Even the chicken strips were dry and hard as a rock. Wouldn't recommend and definitely won't be returning.

Our Watford dining experience was a major letdown. We had high hopes for our £30 meal, but it was overshadowed by the presence of burnt food. Our excitement for a delicious meal quickly deflated as plates with charred edges and overcooked portions were placed before us. It became evident that the kitchen had not maintained the quality we had heard about. The burnt food not only impacted the taste but also the texture, leaving us with a sense of regret for choosing this restaurant. What could have been an enjoyable evening turned into a frustrating experience. We couldn't help but wonder if the staff had noticed the charred state of the dishes they were serving. The overpowering burnt flavors made it challenging to appreciate any subtleties in the cooking. Considering the reputation of the establishment, our expectations were far from met. It's disheartening when a dining experience falls so short of one's expectations, especially after investing both time and money into it. At £30, we had hoped for a meal that would leave us satisfied and content, but sadly, it was quite the opposite. In conclusion, if you have a preference for burnt food, this restaurant might align with your taste. However, if you're seeking a dining experience that lives up to its price tag and reputation, Watford might not be the best choice. Our disappointment with the burnt food overshadowed any positives, leaving us feeling regretful about our dining decision that evening.

The staff and ambience is great. The food is average and below my expectations for the Cote. Ordered a flat white coffee and eggs Florentine. Coffey tasted okay but presentation was below what most coffee houses provide. The Eggs were lacking in taste and the hollandaise sauce was bland.

Excellent food, French onion soup, cheese soufflé always delicious, and the desserts!! Salted caramel tart was outstanding. Service friendly but a bit slow and they made a small mistake but it didn't impact our enjoyment.

Excellent surprise with this place . They have a great value lunch meal 15£ for starter and main before 7pm and it’s well worth it . No substitute on the quality. Soup and salad were excellent , sea bass was one of the best I had in a long time and truffle chips were just the way I liked them. Bread and olives were very tidy too . Only negatives are - the croutons in the salad are not ok and sliding the olives and bread into the bill without notification was abit of a surprise. Because we was offered bread like it was complimentary. However ! Excellent place to go and will defiantly go again, worth every £

Good place to grab breakfast. Love all the pictures on the walls and the different wooden chairs and tables. The coffee was one of the better ones I have had in England. Reasonably priced.

Came here on a Sunday morning for brunch with my 6 year old son for a vegetarian big breakfast. My first visit here and was deciding between this place or second visit to Cassio Lounge. I couldn’t fault the staff, they were friendly and helpful and the ambience was good. The food however, I’m sorry to say was poor. I was expecting a yokey fired egg (not dried and shrivelled up). The potato fritte was a shameful stingy small size and and the breakfast was missing baked beans (which they don’t serve). I get that this is a French restaurant but by no means was this a better standard than something non-French. I genuinely expected better. My son didn’t like his vegan burger but ok that’s him, I thought it was ok with the chips. The start croquettes with salmon was also poor and I struggled to see or taste any salmon. Unlikely I’ll eat here again. I left feeling hungry and unsatisfied. Ed the manager was really good and acknowledged the feedback and offered to discount the croquettes which I appreciated.

I we buy two large rice and get just one as both were half empty, they cheated and did not sell what is on the website, missing half of the food, not recommended they cheated when my husband does not look at what they doing, as he looks at the shishi. It's disgust. They charge more for large and give small.

This is my first time at a Japanese fast food restaurant, and I had a good experience. The place suited my vegan daughter and her two children. I was delighted by the beautiful display of the rolls and sushi trays. The grandchildren really enjoyed the miso soup and seaweed salad. I chose a box of a large and tasty combination. The price was cheap and the food was delicious. The noodle portion was average.

Went to Watford Palace Theatre 🎭 just before the production popped into this place get some food. Not very busy got served quickly the cashier was helpful. The food was ok had sweet Chilli with rice (the regular box) the box full and good value for money £7.75 but the 500ml bottle of Coke was an eye watering £1.99 spice level for the chicken was medium hot not sure if I would have it again.

Was looking forward to the place but turned out to be a massive disappointment and at 29.99 per person you're better off going elsewhere. So you get a buffet option and they come round cutting the meat in front of you.. almost every cut of the meat is extremely salty. The buffet option is another major let down you don't get much meat options and it's very carb heavy food and yet again salty food. For a Friday evening the place was so empty. Service and atmosphere couldn't really fault it but the food was massively let down.

I visited on a Saturday and the place was 70% occupied, so not too busy. You can reserve online as well. Lots of paid parking Around so you'll never have a problem. Nice background music. Very helpful and friendly staff and they do their job very professionally. Air con was on and it was a good atmosphere overall. The open buffet items were fresh and delicious, rice, fried and baked potatoes, plantain and many other vegetarian and vegan options were available. Cold salads and sauces were also amazing. The meat is halal. No pork in any of the dishes. The meat included lamb, sausages, garlic beef, pepper beef, and ribs, some chicken options as well. Overall, nothing was less than a 9/10 but my favourite were the lamb and the ribs. Oh and the pineapples were so so good.

It was our first time in this restaurant. We enjoyed the food and service. It was a good choice of meats and sides. The stew was something I never tried before. We have been looking for a halal Brazilian buffet for a very long time, and we have been so fortunate to find it in Watford. A place that deserves future visits. Thanks to Francisco and his team.

Just had a very nice buffet dinner here for the first time! There were lots of different types of meat, all of which were delicious and high quality. The service is very friendly and attentive. There's also plenty of cocktails to choose from too. I would recommend coming here if you're in Watford and very hungry!!

Had a wonderful time on my 8 year anniversary with my wife. This is the second time we have been here. Last time the food was brilliant, I had lamb chops and my wife had lamb shanks. This time the food and the service was fantastic and to top it off the waitress named Afsane, who was always smiling 😊, really showed her knowledge in what the menu had to offer, including the drinks. I had the Tomahawk steak (recommended to be medium to well done instead of well done) with peppercorn sauce, mushrooms and fries and my wife had the beef espadata with mushroom sauce, cheesy sauce and mash potato (which was recommended ). They were both perfect (well done chef 👌🏾) We also got complimentary happy anniversary dessert as we were getting ready to leave. Thank you very much the evening was great.

Restaurant has decent decor, quite A-lot of seating and spacious. Staff are also friendly. However, leaking toilet and sinks and a very a very messy restaurant. I purchased a tomahawk steak, which cost a whopping £50 (over priced) I expected so much from it. However, I was left disappointed, meat was what I believe not fresh at all, as it tasted dry without any moisture. Honestly, I expected allot more flavour, I was looking forward to it so much. Also was a huge selection at large cuts of meat also, I.e like t-bone which was huge also but they believe they where all old. My family also got the lamb shank which was dry, also they got the grilled chips which was also very dry. I really would of come back but I am left really disappointed, I hope they improve as the selection was really good. I really hate giving bad reviews.

The steak was great, veg not so much, I was expecting carrots and beans but got one stick of asparagus and mushrooms, dissapointing. I think.a little more explanation about the diff kinds of steaks would be good, don't assume your customers know. I chose fillet minnon but I think a thinner steak would have been better for me, maybe a little more fat. Unfortunately where we were seated was not cleaned thoroughly and my seat had crumbs on it. Maybe a little thing but if I'm paying the price then I'm expecting better. Big plus was the service they really made us feel welcome and looked after, no rush at all. So would prob come back.

I would not rate it more than 3 at all. One weekend evening seems they were a bit overwhelmed. Service was quite sluggish....food Taste was juat OK...not great ( we had south indian food) compared to sarvana bhavan rayners Lane...this was nowhere. I was so happy to see something South indian near my home, but to my disdain, it wasn't to the level I would have anticipated. And it's food I can probably ignore some gaps if the taste is good. Sorry! Idly, sambhar, chutneys, dosa taste ....just average. Probably my last visit. Photos added

Busy indian vegetarian restaurant on the high street. This place was more than half full on our visit. The menu offers a wide range of dishes focussing on the dosas. We ordered a telugu thali and a couple of dosas. The food was lightly spiced as expected but it was filling. A 10% service charge was added to the bill.

Me and my wife are life long vegetarians so Crispy Dosa is ideal for us as it's pure vegetarian, meaning no eggs. We visited when they first opened and since our first visit they've improved 100%. Never had any issues with the food but at first time of opening the service was chaotic. Glad to say that on our last visit in October 2023 was excellent! They've really pulled it together with the service. We had Masala dosa, vegetable noodles, palak paneer, maharani dal and plain naan. Beautiful authentic south Indian cruise and friendly staff. My only two complaint is that the vegetables in the noodles are frozen out of a packet. It's just little things like that that may you say "ahh man! " Don't cut corners and chop some fresh vegetables! Little bit tight on the portion of masala in the dosa. Apart from that we love Crispy Dosa restaurant and highly recommend! Look forward to retuning :)

Popped here for our evening meal after visiting Wembley Stadium. It is very close to the Watford High Street station so is very accessible for anyone coming into Watford. The food was amazing and authentic and I would eat here again. However, the meals come out when they’re ready which is fine by me but we were not informed of this on arrival and the water jug was left empty and at one point felt like we had been forgotten. But sometimes people make mistakes so I am more than willing to give it another chance.

The food was okay. The restaurant was empty around 7pm. The table setting was poor, except you like artificial flower pots and old cutlery (fork and knife) that doesn’t match on a serviette. We had starters and main but the waitress told us to keep our cutleries after the starters so we could use them for the main. I found it surprising seeing we were the only ones at the restaurant and our plates were being cleared. The milkshake was watery but tasted nice. Food was affordable. The restaurant didn’t look like the pictures, maybe because we didn’t go upstairs to the shisha lounge. There’s no parking space, you’ll have to look for a spot in the inner roads. I’ll say my experience was a 5.

I have a big appetite so had two starters and then a main course. I am vegan which was easy in this Lebanese restaurant. All very tasty. I had sparkling water to drink and it only cost £25 in total. I will definitely be back when I'm next working nearby.

Avv excellent experience. We had hummus and e we tried the Lebanese Lusaka, simply delicious. Also we tried the nuggets and the waffle. The service was extremely king and patient. The place is really nice and tidy. Overall, I strongly recommend it.
