Lovely bar which feels like it's on the New York skyline rather than street level by Waterloo. The staff were amazing and the service was excellent. The live jazz band (the Eliana Veinberga Quartet) were phenomenal and created an amazing vibe. I could happily spend every evening here!

I come here all the time before I get the train home, the food is always decent. However at this particular branch, the staff are rude and barely give you any of the ingredients. There were literally 3-4 small pieces in my large bowl this time round, which I mentioned. The man then chucked some wet chicken on my bowl, awful behaviour and massively disappointed. I’m a Marugame member and love this place so much, but the Waterloo branch is poor in comparison to others.

Food was very tasty. Price was reasonable, we got some udon and curry with rice at around 10 pounds each. Also had bottomless ice cream for dessert. The toilets were also amazing, which is weird but you'll know if you try it. The food was also prepared in front of you, and the tables were very comfortable.

The chicken katsu curry is really good! It goes really well with their thick and soft Udon. Good selection of sides, drinks, and even have beer on tap. Seats are plenty and clean and has an outside area. If you're stranded in Waterloo and fancy a nice sit-down warm meal, definitely give a try!

I really love this branch of Marugame Udon, it's my favourite conveniently tucked upstairs in the corner of Waterloo Station. Tonight I was served by the lovely Lara, highest compliments for her attentive service, positive attitude, smile and hospitality towards me, I was confused about some allergens in the food as I was tired as I came after work for a quick takeaway to eat on the way home, Lara was very patient and explained everything in detail despite me coming in when the restaurant was almost closing. I really appreciate this as I have an allergy to pork so she made sure to steer me away from anything that would contain any. The beef kimchi and tempura bites were absolutely delicious, fresh and hot. Thank you so much for the experience, this has been the best service I've received for a long time in a restaurant. 🔝💯🏆

Great food and vibe. Excellent service. Pizzas were tasty and toppings included on them were of a generous portion size. Definitely worth a visit. They also have a separate vegan and gluten free menu which makes it easier to identify menu items that meet those dietary requirements (you just need to ask for it).

Food is amazing, service was amazing as well, Melamia gave us great recommendations, made sure we had the great time! She was friendly, easy to communicate and didn’t need to ask twice for anything. Highly recommend this place and if you come across Melamia you are in good hands!

The service: Visited with a group of 8 today. We had a reservation at 7 PM and arrived 10 minutes early, only to be asked to leave and return a few minutes later despite plenty of empty tables. After 7 PM, we endured an additional 10-minute wait for our table. Unfortunately, the service was chaotic. We were seated at a cramped table by the wall, leaving no room to move. The tables were tiny, making it a challenge to even place our plates properly. The food: Rating: 2/5 We ordered burrata, bruschetta, ravioli, the "Forest" pizza, risotto, garlic bread, Arancini, and Tiramisu. The food was disappointingly bland, and the sauces lacked flavor, especially the Forest pizza, which felt like eating bread with red ink. Despite an overload of rocket leaves, it had no taste. The bruschetta, Arancini, and Tiramisu were the only highlights, though not outstanding compared to other restaurants I have visited. Would I return? THE RESOUNDING ANSWER IS NO. Skip this one. There are better quality and better value-for-money restaurants on the same street. I'd recommend skipping this one.

This is one of the three locations for this Sicilian chain resturant - but don't confuse it for a pizza express, this was simply brilliant. Food, location, decor and service were all top notch. For a start they have a full vegan menu which has a good selection of all the staples you would expect. We started with the 'Antipasto Vegano' which was lovely. Stand outs being the panelle chickpea fritters and the caponata, which is exactly what you expect in a Sicilian restaurant. For my main I had the Corleonese, which was delicious. When I go back I will be tempted to try out the pizzas but this might just be too good to not choose. Then for desert I had the Strudel con panna which was amazing. I have never had vegan strudel so I was very excited to see it on the menu. The pastry was fab and the filling perfectly tart. Overall a great experience, I will be back to this chain no doubt. Can't recommend it enough 😁

This is a wonderful little hole in the wall. The food was wonderful. I had the monkfish with clams and my friend had the spaghetti Vongole. Our kids split a spaghetti bolognese (as they do). All dishes were top notch and full of flavour without being over seasoned. The side spinach and rocket salad were equally delicious. We felt bad as the restaurant was quite empty despite the good food at a reasonable price. Vandals had spray painted the outside awning, which makes it slightly less attractive. Don’t let the exterior fool you - they can cook !

First of all, the staff in this branch are very nice and accommodating! That in itself is already a win! Honestly, they are the best! I said that because we celebrated a friend’s hen do in here and their service is just phenomenal. There were 9 of us and we really enjoyed our stay in the restaurant. I personally had their burger and mac and cheese for the first time (as our staple would always be their steak and creamed spinach and aubergine side) and the burger did not disappoint at all. It was juicy and tasty. Their new side, mac and cheese, is also heavenly. We will definitely go back many many times! Thank you to the Waterloo Staff 💕💕💕

I had a great experience here. I popped in for a quick lunch for 1 and decided on the flat iron steak and the crispy bone marrow and garlic mash. The food arrived in good time and was delicious, I enjoyed every mouthful. I washed it down with a pillars pilsner. A steak lunch and a beer for £23.50, what a bargain. Oh and to add the cherry on top I was given a delicious complimentary ice cream cone as I left.

Walked past this restaurant and thought it would a cute place to have dinner after a long day. Absolutely DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The waiter was very nice and answered questions we had and also gave recommendations. We went with the Flat Iron Steak and Flat Iron Sirloin with Crispy Bone Marrow Garlic Mash. We also got the Bearnaise and smoked chili mayo, but to be fair the steak was seasoned so well we did not need anything else. 5/5 would recommend. Oh and you get ice cream as desert, and complementary popcorn as a starter. Only sad part is that they ran out of wagyu, i was super excited to try!

Came on a Friday for dinner as a larger group (7) and were seated in a private area downstairs. Servers were incredibly friendly and helpful, drinks were good and the food was fantastic. Everything was a reasonable price and the restaurant even try to accommodate those that can't eat the steak (the aubergine can be chosen as a main). The ice cream at the end is definitely worth going for!

We came in to The Sushi Co, from Westminster staying on vacation. We visited Chinatown several times for the egg drop soup (Culture Grub). We figured that we would want to try some sushi so we were able to find this wonderful place on Google Maps, it had more stars and better reviews than other places around. And we are so glad that we did. Definitely ensure that you stop into The Sushi Co if you’re in the area or if you are considering traveling to London.

One of the best sushi takeouts in London - great for train journeys! On a cold day go for the noodles and curries from the back of the store, served piping hot - excellent! Seating is available in the store. The efficient in-house team does a good job stocking up the shelves almost round the clock

Loved this restaurant, nice staff and the food was delicious. Very child friendly, crayons and the Menu can be drawed on. Really liked that they have actual Italian food on the kids menu!! So many only have hot dogs and fries, but here there is plenty to choose from. Otherwise very nice atmosphere, and honestly not as expensive as i had thought.
