The food was great, loved the burger, salad and fried cheese. The sauces were also really good. Didn’t have any drinks, but what I saw others getting looked phenomenal. My only complaints are the server forgot to give a silverware so we had to ask and it was crazy cold in there. I must’ve had the AC set on 60. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend and return.

My husband and I dropped in after reading reviews on Google (which is why I'm a Google reviewer as well). People had good things to say...so we drove from Temple to check it out. The decor is well matched for this type of setting. The customer service was excellent and our server recommended the burger. My husband went with her recommendation and it was the bomb! He had the sunrise burger...OMG! It was bursting with flavor! I had the fish sandwich. It was good as well, but that burger stole the show! We also had the chorizo queso. It was delicious as well. We met the manager, Ignacio. He wanted to make sure we enjoyed our meal and gave us a free appetizer card as a first time visitor's gift. Two thumbs way up to this place...drop in and have a bite.

Decent place. I enjoyed the fact the had a burger donating to tunnel for towers foundation. Good fries and decent service. Beer taps were out of service. I wouldn't drive all the way to Waco just to eat here but definitely worth trying out if your down there already.

We shared a pizza and wings and it was delicious, plenty of food! Greta atmosphere for watching a game, plenty of tvs, very loud, but that’s to be expected with it being a Saturday night. great service, we asked if we could try a few sauces first and our waitress was happy to bring them. I would highly recommend shotgun and honey bbq for Wing Sauces, they were delicious!

Burgers were very delicious. The fries were amazing, and I would recommend the garlic snots. The strawberry mule was amazing. My husband enjoyed some Margarita's. Clean little spot to stop and have a beer before headed home. Clean bathroom. The outside was a bit hot and tables dirt, yet nothing that was major. I will have to go back and see if the 2nd time was better.

Classic American diner fare with a personal touch.We stopped into Jake's for a late lunch with family. From the outside, it's very non-assuming. That is aside from the giant red Pegasus normally spotted in the Dallas skyline. Inside is another world. Americana road signs and car culture at its finest! What's better was we were hosted by Jake, the man himself. Yes, the restaurant's namesake is very much present and accounted for and an absolute delight. The servers were all friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was nostalgic yet comfortable. Old cars are part of the decor and ambiance. We ordered a variety of items off the menu. No complaints, and the food was great. Wait staff was very attentative and we all had a wonderful meal. Highly recommended.

Wonderful 50’s ambiance! Did not mind the wait at all because of so much memorabilia to see. Cindy, our server, was very friendly and helpful, getting us the customization of menu items with a smile. Call me old-fashioned, but I was really happy to see long teaspoons in my tea. The veggie quesadilla was very satisfying. Oh! Look for license plate from 1924!

My rating is based on going to Jake's 1 time on a Sunday. There is a different menu for Sundays vs the other days of the week so take this for what it is. The Sunday menu is basically take it or leave it.... No options on salad dressing, no appetizers, no choice on sides. You choose your entrée & you take what else they give you. It was southern sides that were just average in taste. Not bad but not at the level of the atmosphere (which was excellent). The service we had was below par & it took us almost 1 hour and 45 minutes to finish our meal. This included about 25 minutes of waiting for our check that our waitress didn't even bring us. We had to get the hostess to get our check for us. I will say it seemed others were getting better service but our specific experience was below acceptable. It's most likely a completely different experience the rest of the week but I would suggest finding another Sunday lunch place. Again this is a 1 time experience on a Sunday (not regular menu).

We enjoyed this place. Our server was cash and she was awesome. She was very attentive and knowledgeable in all the dishes. One of us ordered the quiche and she got fruit with it. I expected a few bites but a whole fruit salad arrived. The quiche was awesome. I got the turkey Reuben and that was fantastic! Wholesome place. The menu pic I attached is for their Sunday family style. We will most definitely go back to try!

This place was nothing fancy, so if you’re looking for fancy, this is not the place for you, but if you are looking for knock out delicious food, then head on here. Food was absolutely delicious generous portions price was honestly cheap for what we got. I would totally give the food a 10 out of 10 🙌🏼

This was our first visit to Milo’s and we will definitely be back. We arrived about 11:30 on a Tuesday and ordered from their brunch menu. Our server (thanks, Jessica — you were terrific!) suggested the Wrecking Ball sandwich, and it sounded so good both of us ordered it. It has Sweet tea brined fried chicken + bacon + cheddar + cream gravy on a biscuit, served with cubed breakfast potatoes. It was fabulous! I am a big fan of biscuits, so I ordered a couple (2/$5) and they were also delicious. The building itself is bright, open, and airy without feeling sterile or industrial, and covered outdoor seating is also available. I would love to try their dinner menu, but I will have to drive from Austin to do it. Given my experience today, that just might be worth it.

Milo was one of the most aesthetically pleasing restaurants and eaten in a long time. I enjoyed very much the lox toast as well as the mint watermelon lemonade which I can also be spiked and it was so delicious. Our waitresses name was Jessica and she’s from Seattle Washington, and only has been here in Texas for less than three months working for my loves and she was absolutely phenomenal. She has a stunning personality. This is her soul and her beauty radiates to the room when you talk to her absolutely perfection. Thank you for everything Jessica you are amazing!

Everything about this place was fantastic! We traveled to Waco for a two day getaway and instantly felt at home here. During our stay we visited Milo's twice, tried several menu items and cocktails. Not a bad thing on the menu! The staff was awesome - the manager(s), wait staff, and bartenders, too - we got to know so many people in a short amount of time. This place is a must!

Also the food was SO YUM- we had the wrecking ball, the hot chicken sando, and the biscuit bread pudding french toast w/ strawberries n cream. both the wrecking ball and the bread pudding french toast were to dieee forrrr.

My favorite "hole in the wall" mom and pop shop for the delicious cuisine of Bulghogi the may be misspelled but it is on point with the taste buds and don't forget to get you the soup and oriental fries and if ur American standards foodie the burgers are a top of the town hit as well. Love this place! 34-year customer.

This was my first trip to Kitok. This is a small dining room but bright and fun. I tried the Oriental fries...delicious! I ordered the Sweet and Sour Pork. It was different than any other I've eaten. There was a broth that I mixed with my fried rice. This entres also came with potato soup and a salad... YUMMY! Authentic Korean food served by pleasant, attentive, servers. So good and reasonably priced. I ordered a hamburger and fries take-out for my husband. Great burger. Enjoy!

The food was delicious and the portions were large enough for 2 people to share. The service was a little lacking. My wife’s food did not arrive until I was done with my food, might have been the cooks fault, or they might have dropped it in the kitchen. The oriental fries were delicious potato strings with broccoli and onions fried up. I would try this place again.

Ate here while waiting for people that were at the Baylor home game. The staff were amazing and helpful. They had two large projections on the walls. One of the game the other of something else. Nice variety of choices including milkshakes. They also have a free pickle bar with had 5 different flavors I think. They are located in barrels that you can get them out of. If I'm back in the area I would go back.

The hot chicken chicken sandwich and jam burger with goat cheese were great! Flavors were very good and different. We enjoyed the atmosphere, laid back and seating was great. Soda flavors were good and pickle bar options were a nice add on. Homeade fries were tasty.

First time here with friends on a trip, it went great! Very friendly cashier when we first walk in, Isaiah was very nice and talked to us, I enjoy a nice interaction! The food we ordered was super filling but delicious. We ordered fried pickles and The Millionaire, I highly recommend it if you don’t mind a messy, filled burger! The pickle bar had tasty, crunchy pickles mixed with different flavors! The restrooms are clean as well. I will be coming back again when in the area!

Great burgers, located in a college town, so expect the eclectic atmosphere of music, large screen TV and college vibe. Staff was helpful but I rated the service as a 1 because tables were never cleared and I had to do it myself to get a table. But the burgers are great. Try the root beet BBQ sauce.

Atmosphere was bit loud, they had 2 big projector screens on 2 of the walls for TV and classic music videos 🤙. Bathrooms were not very clean 😒...picking a table to dine in at was little tricky cause most of them were very sticky... Parking when we got there, there was plenty until rush HR it got quite full. Bison 🦬 meat in the burger was Goood 👌 workers were helpful. BIG Tex burger 🍔 Western Burger. 🍟 fries and onion strings, and two drinks 🥤 = $44

What everyone knows: good food, good service, better drinks, extremely busy! Can't go wrong with any of the menu items. Adults drinks are tasty and on the larger volume for longer enjoyment. Expect to wait to be seated even though the place is huge inside. Parking can be challenging depending on which of their lots you can get into.

We always put our names on the list, but you can still get beer or something at the bar while waiting and they seem like having a lot of tables and spaces, so you won't wait that long, actually. We always start with Bio O draft beer (it's huge and heavy!) and I love their Bio O cocktails, too. Their the most famous and popular chicken fried steak is absolutely amazing as well as their appetizers such as samplers, nachos, onion rings and cheese fries! Price is very reasonable, each dish has big portion, we always take the most of the food to go after all. Can't wait to go back again!

We were in Waco and got a recommendation from a friend to go to George's. What an incredible restaurant! The parking lots (yes... thereare several) were packed. They were so organized that there eas almost no wait for a table. The menu had a lot of selections, and the food was AMAZING! The service was GREAT, all 4 times we ate there. It's no wonder you have so many people eating there and the parking lots were so full! This is a "Do not miss while in Waco, TX place!" We HIGHLY recommend it! We'll be back the next time we're in Waco!

Made a trip out to Waco to celebrate the in-laws and 50th wedding anniversary. They chose George’s to meet at since they came down from Grand Prairie and We were coming up from RR. We arrived at 11:00 AM and had about 15 people in our group and the wait staff was very attentive and had our food orders and drinks in check. Half the party ordered the chicken fried steak with 2 sides. My wife ordered the grilled fish with rice and I had the Philly steak with fries which was good and a pretty healthy serving. We also shared some of their famous onion rings and fried mushrooms as appetizers. The onion rings had a delicious crispy batter and the ranch dressing was also good but the mushrooms weren’t crispy like the onion rings, they were kinda soggy. The vibe I got from our group is that everyone enjoyed their meals. I was really happy with the choice of my in-laws of meeting at George’s. We will have to stop in again when we are in the area as we had a great experience at this location.

The green beans are sooooo good! Love the bacon and cheddar fries. They put a big bowl of ranch and love the queso on it. The elite chicken fried steak pay extra for the better one and oh split it, it is huge!!!! I saw some table next to us get the fajitas big o style, I will do that next time. Onion rings were sizzling with queso and fajita meat stacked, do it!!!!
