One of the most underrated outlets serving pure vegetarian fare should be The Plate, located on the ground floor, far end of Express Avenue Mall Chennai. Unassuming, clean and minimalistic and also sparsely staffed. The food was delish and neat. The ambience is so calm and hushed you could distinctly hear your clanks and chomps in tandem. They offer a cool menu of single course, one plate meal and what caught my attention was - bisibele with potato fry, curd rice with pickle and Thai green curry with flavoured rice. One yummy fare!!

Absolutely finger licking, freshly prepared food. One Star deducted due to the long wait after ordering our food. But no complaints since the food was superb. Must try is their Paneer butter masala. Nothing much to say about the ambience but well maintained and clean. Friendly staff. Will definitely visit again.

Staff was kind support. Breakfast is almost Indian style. A little disappointed thing is Fried eggs are not available. Facility is not so good. Specially, I surprised see in gym. I recommend this hotel if you are staying for shopping only. Others..will never recommend.

Overall worst experience i asked for poori but they said it will take half an hour then i ordered Pongal which is so pathetic tasteless and coffee last time they served filter coffee this time ordinary tea shop powder coffee. Worst part is they mentioned tea coffee rs. 15bin the board but charged rs. 20. It is a disgrace to use the name Udupi hotel

It's better to book a table here cos you never get space if it's a spontaneous plan , it happened to us twice . This is a vegetarian restaurant and the food is splendid. Firstly we wanted to give a shot at all the cuisine so we chose Thai green curry which was great, pottalam parotta which was unexpectedly nice and they gave us extra salna too just in case . The paneer sizzler was amazing too. We ordered a Ratatouille but we got a what looked like a lasange. Only disappointment was the bao .. I am a huge fan of baos and here it was not that great. Food delivery was very prompt and staff were really polite and welcoming

They had a pretty decent ambience.We ordered Casseroles,Pastas and Mex starters. They were all delicious. Especially Spicy veg enchiladas. It was yummmmmm🤤 Desserts were a great disappointment from lotus biscoff icecream to punjabi faloodas. They dint meet our expectations.

This establishment is conveniently located adjacent to the McDonald's lane, with the added convenience of wallet parking that made the visit effortless. The ambiance of the venue is simple yet enjoyable, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The food was served promptly and the service was pleasing. While the mushroom soup did not meet expectations, the pineapple barbecue was flavorful and enjoyable, albeit a bit spicy. The lotus dish was also quite good. The fried rice was decent, though not exceptional. Unfortunately, the cheese dessert did not quite meet the standard. In conclusion, the overall experience was positive and the prospect of returning to this establishment is enticing.

Pure vegetarian fine dining restaurant in Velachery . Parking facility is convenient with valet . This is my second time , this time we went for a table buffet set of menu will be served one by one starting from soup salad starters and main course . We can choose a choice of soup , all starters will be portioned and if we want a refill they will do . Main course was also the same . Paneer tikka , veg balls , and crispy fried vegetables were good. Thai soup was spicy n good . In main course naan and Panner masala was my fav. They served chettinad biryani , sambar rice , curd rice , Hakka noodles with gobi manchurian. Desserts were brownie , panacota, ice cream and paayasam. All tasted good . Service and ambience could be better .

Very popular restaurant, fully crowded during lunch and dinner hours. Tables are shared with other people. But didn't had to wait for long as service was fast and within 5 to 10mins you can get a place. I even saw forienger people two times in this restaurant. Food quality and quantity was good and affordable prices.

After a multiple online search for a good restaurant near by I thought of giving sangeetha a try. Trust me it’s completely worth it for the quality and the money you spend on. I have stayed for 2 days in a near by lodge and visited this place for 3 times to have meals. I would recommend the mini meals and have it south or North Indian both tastes really good.

This is simply not a restaurent,this is a "Palatial Place ". Highly TOP-NOTCH , LUXURIOUS , ROYAL,OPULENT, STUNNING ,RICH , PALATIAL etc. They have 3 set of Menus ( North Indian ,South Indian and Season al Offerings).It is a 💯% Vegetarian Restaurant. They served the food items in Silver Platters and Silver Katories and that was what we wanted. The Welcome treatment and Ambience was extremely Royal and Rich. As it was our Wedding Anniversary ,the Royal Vega team decorated our table with Rose Petals.The Restaurant itself was very much Posh ,Amazing , Fantastic, Ultra Luxurious and High Class. We ordered both South Indian and North Indian and the food was very good , authentic, traditional with natural flavours. Quantity of food was enough and more. After our food ,they had arranged a complimentary cake also. We really had extremely Royal Experience at Royal Vega .Many Thanks to Royal Vega team especially Rohit Sir @ITC GRAND CHOLA,CHENNAI for making our Wedding Anniversary Grand ,Wonderful ,Memorable, Royal, Superb ,Georgeous,and Amazing . Delicious food served with great varieties.. Loved the way the food is being arranged and served. A great and a happy meal. As the name the place looks Royal and great. The food is completely vegetarian .we ordered all the 3 varieties of meals and 1 south Indian and the other 2 are North Indian kind of Thalis.. Which has Gujarati and Punjabi food . It got lot to eat which would be great if u go with a hungry stomach.. And the atmosphere is very elegant and graceful Can visit once but the prices are more than the mark as it is a star hotel

The restaurant is located in ITC Grand Chola. We are vegetarians and my sister saw the promotion video on YouTube and we decided to try it for dinner. They have three set menus, one based on South Indian cuisine, another on North Indian cuisine and the third for seasonal offerings. The food is served in a silver platter and silver katories. The ambience is great and the food tasty. The service is also nice. While the experience is pleasant, it did not match the one at Firaus in Hyderabad in respect of food or service.

They cook food live for every meal combination and super flexible for allergies and preferences. The food is on spicy side a bit. Must try is rasam and jackfruit item. My wife and I dined at Royal Vega on 10th June 2023. We had Ranjit Khasa. Royal and scrumptious food, can't say one best item as every single item was a treat on the palate and eyes. To name the highlights, the anardaana raita and madhura tikkia tops the chart. As it was our wedding anniversary, Karuna, the restaurant manager, did little surprises in terms customized cakes and photo frame. Overall, this luxury dining is one of it's kind and we will come back to try the other menu as well.

I cannot tell you how long I've waited to go here! You can go here only with reservations and you need to book by Tue-Wed if you want to eat here by the weekend. The ambience was amazing! I liked how they served the food one after another and everything tasted good :) I didn't enjoy the cauliflower starters alone but everything else was good. One of the best vegetarian South Indian meals you can have!

In terms of food the taste was very good and authentic. The food variety is almost like what you eat at weddings but with much better quality. The price is justified for the quality of the food and they serve it again if you want. This place has one of the best ambience I've ever seen. It was the perfect fine dining experience with no rush and it's great for get togethers. Note: Make sure to call them and get a reservation beforehand. Walk in is not preferred here as every table will be booked

We need to tell them again and again to bring the orders but some of the attenders are too smart and serve better !!! Don't tell me this is the same Mathysa group running T Nagar and Adyar. The place is dingy. Parking is trouble. Food is tasteless. We had tried south Indian and north Indian dishes. It was not nice. We asked for lassi and got some very sour drink. The manager said they will renovate soon and the food is tuned for a particular group and that may the reason for different taste!
