Overall a pretty great restaurant the service was good and the food was cooked to perfection. The only issue I had with this place was on a note of cleanliness. A few spots here and there on the silverware, black fleck of something floating in the water that was just poured, and be careful if you decide to bring toddlers here because the storage of the high chairs is in a not-so pleasant place. (Photo) But as originally noted I want to reaffirm that our server was entirely delightful and knowledgeable, and the chefs are in a top tier class of professionals serving world class meals with elite presentations.

Food was disappointing, we ordered 50 day aged steak bone in ribeye and it was no good, no aged taste at all. I could make better at home to be honest. Service was fine but the waiter messed up our order of sides which was super simple as we asked for 4 things. I would not recommend this place. The place is in a nice section of town and a nice building, the atmosphere and placement are good.

We were just in time to catch some happy hour drinks and then have dinner. 2 of us shared a Caesar Salad, the mussels & chorizo, and the beef ribs. This turned out to be an excellent combination of flavors! Food was so delicious!

It was amazing and the staff was great! The QUESO CON PUERCO and the corn bread were great appetizers. We enjoyed the steak mushrooms, asparagus, ribye steak, and raspberry cheesecake.

Terrible experience do not recommend. Most of my reviews are generally positive but this was bad. Spent over $100 here by myself at 3pm Steak came out like a weiner but it’s w/e Waited about a hour for my steak. Definitely One of the worst steaks I’ve ever had. I ordered a medium and Steak came out super raw and cold like sushi. Ate some of it cold thinking it was just a warm spot.. so prob gonna be sick after this.. I had to send back the first steak ever in my life. my sliders came 15 mins after the steak and it was terrible super dry. Also asked kindly to charge on a charger they had and guy was unhelpful.

Fun atmosphere with some interesting history behind the house. Our server was great and the food was delicious! The decor throughout the restaurant is very unique. Overall wasn’t too impressed about the price point of the food but it did have a unique flavor and had just the right portions!

I will only eat pork belly here, now. This dish was perfect! So many places in town have turned pork into sweet melt-in-your-mouth gelatin, which isn’t something I enjoy as a main. The pork here is genuinely cooked to perfection. The savory apples and bed of greens transported me to both Germany and my childhood in fall. Magic. The steak was excellent, as were the biscuits and beet butter. You can’t go wrong with their menu. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for our service experience. Despite reservations, we were seated in an awful spot (does dinner on the sidewalk sound appealing). Our server took our order for drinks and vanished, then our food order and disappeared, again. We had to wait a while after the food arrived for silverware… we will hopefully have a better experience when we return.

Loved the vibe here. Sat in the front inside dining room. The menu was unique and it offered great variety. We had the heirloom tomatoes, and the Korean chicken. The biscuits were so good as well. The music inside was outstanding and really added to our experience. The decor was so cool also.

I found this place because i saw a social media post showing off their old fashioned and decided to try it out. First off the atmosphere is amazing, everything from the bathrooms, the interior to the outside looks great. It’s an intimate setting but doesn’t feel cramped. Great place to take a date. The drinks which is why I originally came were phenomenal, the woman from the social media video actually made my old fashioned and it was delicious. My friend who were with me were very satisfied with their cocktails as well and we had a good experience with it! The food was delicious, I got the Caesar salad and the biscuits to share and couldn’t even finish it all. The biscuits were flakey and not too dry, and the beet honey butter they give you with it was amazing and perfectly complimented the biscuits. The Caesar salad, never had one like it before, they must cook the bottom or something because it had a nice crunch to it and, well I just never had a salad like that before but it was delicious and what the staff recommended to me and I can’t say I’m disappointed, they were right, it’s great! Overall the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, food great and drinks boozy and flavorful. Great date spot or place to be with friends if ya have the $$$. I will be back

Outstanding little restaurant in Austin, Texas serving unbelievably delicious burgers and spectacular drinks in a very Austin-like setting. I am not exaggerating when I say this place has the best Waygu beef burger you will ever have. The decor is just as good as the food. Artsy, humorous, whimsical, it fits perfectly with the serving staff, who are attentive, engaging and diverse.

We have not been to Salty Sow in over a year and decided to revisit the restaurant for a happy hour. The experience was a delight. Our server Jordan was outstanding and we were not left wanting for anything. The food was filling and full of flavor. The drinks were on point. My favorite were the deviled eggs, and the in-house smoked salmon pastrami was incredible. The management here is clearly top of the line, and hospitality abounds. We will definitely come back, as there are numerous other dishes we want to try.

We did not get the hype. I gave Salty Sow a second try but the food was still underwhelming. The chicken was mostly breading, the fish taco contained a bone, and the Brussels sprouts were too sweet. The happy hour prices are good, our server and staff were very nice both times though!

This is our second time here and can’t rave enough about them!! Brad was our server and he was incredible with humor, recommendations, service and seriously just awesomeness!!! Consistency of food and service each time was spot on! We’ve only experienced happy hour both times, but we will have to come back for actual dinner service! The fried chicken is epic, juicy, moist, crunchy, great serving size! The chicken liver mousse has a wonderful creaminess, salt touch, plus the bread was warm and soft. Their tacos are flavorful and also phenomenal size! The truffled devil eggs have a lovely balance of truffle flavor and egg. Drinks are next level as well! Absolutely LOVE everything about this place and will be back!!!

We made a reservation for the family since it came so highly rated and we only had one day in Austin. Absolutely did not disappoint! Fantastic cocktails, great apps, phenomenal service (shout-out to Zach!), and epic entrees. We didn't grab pics of everything but the deviled eggs used stone-ground mustard blended into the filling for a delightful heat. The candied pork belly was a crowd favorite.

Absolutely lovely restaurant on the central east side. Indoor and outdoor areas, full bar, and fantastic happy hour. You can definitely get full and eat cheap with this happy hour. Food is crafted very well, drinks are cold and strong, and the staff is great. Some items with the egg can get messy, but overall, it is a really great place for a quick eat or night out with friends/ family. We can't wait to come back!!

I had a nice dining experience at Eberly Restaurant in Austin, though it wasn't without a few small misses. The standouts were definitely the trendy decor and craft cocktails. As soon as I walked in, I was wowed by the chic interior design. The dining room features gorgeous tile floors, dramatic pendant lighting, and an elegant bar as the centerpiece. It's stylish while still feeling warm and inviting. The food overall was pretty good, though a little inconsistent. Service was attentive from the moment I arrived. My only complaint was that the dining room was eerily empty when I dined even with a reservation. More lively energy would enhance the experience.

Enjoyed a beautiful rehearsal dinner here with friends. Our party had a reserved table in a semi-private area of the main dining room. We enjoyed delicious craft cocktails and several artful appetizers - the panzanella salad was amazing! For my main course, I had the Lion's Mane Mushroom. This was such a unique dish filled with earthy and rich flavors. At certain points throughout the evening, it was pretty difficult to hear, the restaurant became pretty loud. Overall, it was a great experience.

Had the pleasure of dining here in Austin for a special occasion with my partner. Eberly is absolutely beautiful. VERY aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Our service was fantastic. We chose to sit outside in the patio which was BEAUTIFUL. The weather was nice and made our evening just that much better. We both had a great time! Ugh, fell in love… The food was delicious. The menu was quite unique, but I managed to try new foods. Would I come back? UH. YES. I really enjoyed the bar area. Such intimate ambience in which we enjoyed a conversation over Old Fashioned(s). Beautiful, wonderful, and attractive night (….. like my partner).

🍃Eberly 🌿 Our dinner here was throughly enjoyable. Let’s start with the atmosphere. The atmosphere was incredible - high end everything. Dim lit and very intimate. Restaurant was completely full by about 6:30pm and it was a Tuesday. The service was also very top tier. Came around a very good amount, was very timely, and prompt with suggestions. The food was impeccable. I went with a larger group and we were able to try so much on the menu. There were a few items I would not skip at all. The Crudo: ours was with kampachi and had several citrus pairings - truly incredible. The oysters were the highest quality I’ve had in Austin - bravo to the chef for selecting these. The chickpea fritter was also 10/10, please keep this on the menu forever. The entrees were also just amazing. The pork chop was an American twist on a SE Asian comfort curry. Loveeeedd this. The beef short rib was melt in your mouth good - pair this with the crispy potatoes and you’re golden. The lion’s Maine mushroom was also just so packed with flavor and perfectly paired together. Our waitress told us to go with the sticky toffee pudding for dessert and this did not disappoint at all. The caramelized fig was to die for. Overall, Eberly wowed me and everyone in my group. I will be back again and I am very excited for that time to come! Cheers!

Literally just came back from eating here tonight and I LOVED IT! I went with my partner and the food was amazing. Everything was so different than what I’m used to but they brought all these beautiful foods and they were absolutely delicious! The servers were on top of it and I have absolutely no complaints! If I could leave 100000 stars I would! Definitely going back! ✨

If you're looking for the ideal "date" restaurant, this is the place. The restaurant specializes in coursed menus, also known as tasting menus. It's a culinary dream and will give you and your date plenty to talk about. The atmosphere is quiet but not the kind of quiet to suppress conversation. Finally the staff was extremely knowledgeable of the restaurant's offering. Enjoy, you'll love it.

I've lived in Austin for 6 years, and never heard of this restaurant. Saw it on an Eater list for best tasting menus in Austin. This place is delicious! Super cute, and a lot of fun. 7 Course Tasting Menu: Cobia Carpaccio - 5/5 Crab Cakes - 4/5 Striped Bass - 5/5 Seared Sweetbreads - 5/5 Duck Breast - 4/5 Strip Steak - 5/5 Wink Dessert Trio - 5/5 The carpaccio was sooo light and refreshing. Striped bass was cooked perfectly, nice crispy skin. Sweetbreads were excellent, the best I've tasted. Strip steak, delicious. Dessert trio, amazing. Crab cakes were a bit dry. Duck Brest was a tad undercooked. Great date spot. Super intimate, and really fun. Wait staff is phenomenal, and super friendly. I really enjoyed this place.

A fine dining gem in downtown Austin. We opted for the 5-course tasting menu paired with wine and left very full and happy. All of the courses were very tasty (especially the duck breast and strip steak). A nice amuse-bouche was also included. The staff were helpful and friendly and gave us the best experience. We used to love coming here alot in the 90's, for the awesome food, atmosphere and sunsets. But it seems it's clearly not the same. I had the fish tacos which were dry, hardly any lettuce and sauce on the tacos. The salsa had no pineapple flavor to it, but it was plenty spicy which was good 👍. Sorry to give a not so good review, hope you step up in the future.

Great food on the lake with a resort like atmosphere. We had the coconut shrimp. Chips and cheese dip queso. Fried stuffed Avocado a long with a delicious Bloody Mary. I like to bring friends,family and clients to relax and enjoy the sunset on the lake.

Visiting from nearby city. The lake at night felt just like being oceanfront. We opted to sit our party outside. Near the bar there is self seating and we were able to pull up 10 chairs. Our waitress was quick and pleasant. Our crowd favorites were fried fish sandwich and shiner steak fajitas. Will definitely return.

It was the perfect spot to get away for lunch on our anniversary weekend. We hadn't been in Austin in a very long time and Hula Hut did not disappoint. Beautiful view of the lake. We got to see turtles and coots and fishermen. Food was good. Too much for the two of us to eat. The pu pu platter said feeds 2 to 4 people, it would have been ideal for 3.

I visited this place with a friend. The food was good. We ordered a Pu Pu platter and shared it. It was a lot of food we couldn't finish it. The salsa and chips were excellent. It was a very busy Saturday around 1 pm and the wait staff was a bit scattered but our service was fine. We had to scan the QR code on the table for the menu. No big deal but be prepared for that.

This place is one of my favorite places to take friends there when they come visit as it has such a scenery view of downtown. I’m also impressed with the design as it feels like you’re sitting comfortable in a jungle with lots of trees 😂 The food menu is small but they’re good. The drinks are great, very strong.

A fun a popping outdoor spot for people of all ages! I went here to celebrate a birthday and it was great! Even with the triple digit heat the weather was fair so high up and their fans were on max. The service was busy but efficient and charming. The food was great, it taste like the chef actually cares about what we were eating. The view was spectacular and the vibes were chill. I definitely recommend!

This is a really awesome spot in ATX. Great vibes up on the roof, they really decorated well. It looks like a nice tropical escape! The drinks were really tasty, and the hand rolls were delicious. Come for happy hour to save a few bucks and beat the crowds!

Cool rooftop bar. I’m not a huge fan of Austin skyline, but this bar has the best views Austin has to offer :) Cocktails were great! And the staff super nice. My only issue with this bar is that it closes already at midnight, which is too early for the weekend IMO…

LOVE Zanzibar. The service is awesome. The staff is so down to earth and super friendly. We came here after a long day at the pool and had some finger foods and drinks as pictured. The drinks are a little pricey but definitely cute and delicious. The atmosphere is a total vibe and I’d recommend it for a girls day or couples day.
