Came here for lunch at 12 noon on a Monday and was able to get a seat. It's only a counter with around 12 seats. They have daily specials only with different days serving different things the day we went was keema eggplant and lental curry. Comes with all you can drink soup and salad as well as rice and naan which you can have additional helpings of for 1050 yen. Was tasty and service is quick. Worth visiting if nearby

Just ordered delivery and it was the worst Chicken Tikka Masala I've ever had and I've eaten Chicken Tikka Masala hundreds of times. It was quite literally chicken in oil. Absolutely no creaminess at all, just oil. Really disappointing.

Very good sushi at reasonable price, love the seared salmon mayo. Spent about 7000yen for a very very full meal for 2 adults and 3 young children. Despite it being standing only, we were able to enjoy with our 2 older kids and 1 baby. Our older kids enjoyed trying out squid and octopus. Complimentary water served and very promptly topped up. Staff were friendly and interacted with my baby towards the end of our meal. Highly recommended.

Everything is delicious. My favorite is the raw salmon, but all the seared fish ones were great too. Fun atmosphere, reasonable prices. Our meal for two cost $22 USD and we were both full and happy. We'll definitely be coming back.

The best sushi we've ever had! Fantastically delicious. It's a standing bar with about 8 places. Line moves very quick. They serve complimentary matcha tea which is also really good. "foreign language menu" is available with English descriptions. We enjoyed it so much that decided to come back here for our next 2 day lunches. The staff is very friendly and helpful too.

Hands down the best sushi we have ever had in Tokyo. Small restaurant, standing and eating at the same time. Kind staff. You just point on what you want and they will prepare for you. The miso is also very good. We came here several time because it was so crazy good!

Unfortunately we had high hopes for this place given the review on multiple social media platforms. We ordered around 10,000 yen worth of food in total sew the receipts. We waited more than an hour outside, with the poor guy behind us handed a signage to hold by the staff, advising beef is sold out, we ordered while we waited. Once we got into the place, we were immediately served with food, clearly the food was already cooked and sat there idle, with the crust soggy. Because we were the last group to get in as they sold out all beef at around 20:21, we were still eating and we were handed the check, being as advised by one of the blonde staff saying we must pay as soon as they handed us the check, while we were still eating! We were only eating in there for around 20mins when they wanted us to pay the check. This was around 21:00 but their advertised closing time is 2200. Overall the food is okay for the price but the service was the worst we have ever experienced in Japan, it's so bad I feel obligated to let the public know how badly we got treated as customers, as writing the review take away my own precious time here in Japan.

Visited at 5pm and there was absolutely no queue! Managed to get seated right away. The menu is simple with the choices only being between no drinks, with drinks, or beer. Because of that, the meals are served very quickly and efficiently! The meal itself was great! The beef is served rare and you get to grill it to your own liking. The quality of beef was great for the price (less than 2000 yen per set). The place smells rather greasy (expected, of course), so probably a good thing to take note if you are heading anywhere afterwards. Would definitely recommend this place but probably for an early dinner as the queues were very long when we left at 6pm.

Delicious tonkasu! Don't leave the meat on the cooker too long! Best cooked medium rare. The door is kind of hard to see and it leads downstairs. There will be a wait after 6pm. The service is very quick and it's a fast meal if you sit at the bar.

Ordered 1 cutlet with no additional side dish and was so full! The gyukatsu is juicy and gives a “melt in the mouth” feeling. The sizzling sound when grilled on a hot stone even increases appetite. Staffs are very nice and the atmosphere is very japanese vibe. Recommend avoid lunch time (11.30-13.30) because there will be long queue.

When in Tokyo, one must at least try the weekend brunch for once in this elegant room. Not just because it sits on the 52nd floor of the Park Hyatt Hotel, the food is also immaculately prepared with lots of options on the buffet line. You will be moved to another room where the musicians are performing for your dessert and drinks if preferred. Staffs are welcoming and friendly. Service wise, they might want to pay a little more attention. For my experience, my empty plate wasn’t clear after I return to my table. 9900¥ after tax per person is well worth the dining experience and the view (even on a rainy day)

We decided to dine here on our last night in Tokyo after a 3 week honeymoon. We reserved for a 6:30pm reservation a week in advance so we could see the skyline from daylight to night. And the view did not disappoint! However, just before leaving our hotel we realised there is a dress code, it's on the website so we should have known, but we didn't have that formal clothes with us so we muddled something together. It's generally smart dress, with Japanese in mainly business wear. We decided to order from the a la carte menu (but there is a set menu too) with a birthday gift budget of $250. We both ordered starters and main courses. My husband had steak which bumped the price up. I had two glasses of wine and my husband had one. However, including service charge we actually ended up spending $300. Overall our food was nicely cooked and everything tasted nice, but we both found it a little too rich. My bigger issue was my glass of Riesling was far too sweet, almost sickly. I expect if I see a Riesling on the menu of an upscale restaurant it will be dry, especially a California Riesling- but maybe my mistake for ordering it. Our only other slightly odd issue is it felt weird having modern European food with a California wine list in Japan.

We had the lunch deal and naturally it's more expensive than any normal place on the street. But we got great value for our money. The view is great, the service is great and the food was awesome. In the lunch offer you get access to a smorgasbord of appetizers all excellent in my opinion, as well as a dessert buffet.

Brunch/Lunch semi buffet was memorable. Not cheap but you get a plated entree and there’s a luxurious appetizer and dessert buffet. The room is gorgeous, the views are extraordinary. The whole Lost in Translation vibe is still electric. I’ll say that I was a little surprised when the servers weren’t terribly attentive to service needs such as empty glasses while they were chatting with each other. For the Sunday brunch there was a live jazz band that gave a sophisticated vibe to the ambiance. Reservations were necessary and made a month in advance. I’m told they are fully booked weeks ahead. For some reason, Google Maps will not allow me to add photos to this review, so I will add them separately. I think Google imposes a fairly aggressive time limit for photos, yet I ate in the restaurant only three weeks ago.

Top class restaurant with highly professional staff members. Lunch menu offers a buffet with an entree of your choice. Appetizers & dessert were so good as well. A must visit restaurant with one of the most amazing 360 views of Tokyo. Priceless experience.

Great Kaiten Sushi place (during our visit, the sushi arrived after the order on a small „train“ and there was no permanent conveyor belt). The fish we had was tasty, fresh and of good quality. We had early dinner (around 5.30 pm) and did no experience any waiting times. The restaurant was clean and the staff friendly. We would recommend it, if you are in Higashi Shinjuku and crave Sushi.

The fish was maybe not cut correctly, making it chewy? Some of the salmon appeared to be and tasted like trout, and the rice were not great. It was ok, but unfortunately not worth a revisit. The waiter was nice.

My first "real Japanese sushi" I've tried and can tell it's way better than the European version. There is a lot to choose from. It's affordable, and fish is fresh and very tasty (I am super picky when it comes to fish). There're also desserts, drinks, and vege versions of sushi rolls if you are interested. Do not be afraid if you don't know Japanese. Menu is in Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and English. Also, the staff is very kind and understanding, and contact is limited to minimum (unless you need something). If the restaurant is on your way, definitely give it a shot!

Delicious sushi at a great price, with really helpful and friendly staff. Sadly, the recent Japan-wide conveyor belt sushi scare has meant that the conveyor belt itself is only used to advertise menu items rather than to carry dishes, but this restaurant has an even better alternative. There is a separate automated food train that quickly delivers food to your table and beeps on arrival. Our toddler was very entertained, and loved the omelette too!

A visit to Shogun Burger for their Wagyu burgers was a delightful experience. The burger exceeded expectations with its rich flavor and perfect cooking. What pleasantly surprised me was finding my beloved “melon” drink, a rarity in most places. The fries were a perfect balance of crispy exterior and soft interior. Overall, it was a top-notch experience, and I’ll definitely be returning for more of these fantastic flavors! Highly recommended for both burger aficionados and those seeking unique beverages!

APRIL 2023 It was quite busy walking through the Kabukicho area at night to the burger restaurant. At the entrance there is a machine to place your order. I've ordered the double cheeseburger set with the Shogun beer. The burger was pretty big with two wagyu beef patties. It was tender and rich but still very meaty and not too fatty even though wagyu meat was used. It was nice how the cheese was melted onto the patties. Fries were nice and crisp and the basil dipping sauce was very tasty. The beer was refreshing and helped cut through the greasiness of the meal. Quite pricey and the meal took some time to arrive but was worth getting for the quality and taste of the meat.

Had triple wagyu burger and it was delicious. Had the same burger one day later and again - delicious. They have Hoegaarden, Corona and Shogun IPA. Ordering from machine, then waiter will sit you down. Quite small restaurant. Shogun sauce (on every table) is a must try. Fries are crisp. Recommended place.

The wagyu beef burger at this place is an absolute must-try and it's easily the most delicious burger I've ever had! The staff members were incredibly helpful and understanding when we accidentally ordered three sets for just two people. They kindly checked with us and cancelled one of the sets without any hassle. We were so grateful for their consideration! The food arrived in just 10 minutes, and the patty was incredibly juicy and bursting with flavor. We decided to add their chili crab sauce (if I recall correctly), and it was absolutely amazing. This place is definitely a must-visit!

Cramped little space, but the service is friendly and attentive. You order your food and beverages on a little machine at the front of the restaurant. One of the employees came over and made sure that I was selecting the option to have no catsup on my burger, which is a disgusting condiment. I ordered the double cheeseburger. It was pretty good, but just that. Nothing that made me go, ‘Oh my God!’. I enjoyed it alright. We had a couple of Corona beers, which were about $5 USD per bottle. I guess not too bad. This isn’t a place that I would say I need to return to. I was curious about it; I tried it; and now I am satisfied. Satisfactory burger, but nothing more.

This restaurant located next to gyukatsu. You can order via tab and they provide english version of menu as well so dont worry if you can speak japanese. Seating is limited. They provide alot of sauce for complimenting the menu. Sauce for salad, tobasco, etc. Cost you around 500 yen per person. Ocha here is free.

By far the best Sukiya Branch everrr... the staffs were very accommodating and can understand english clearly. The food was served very quickly and delicious. They even let us stay for a few hours as we arrived past midnight. Without you Sukiya and the fantastic staffs, I don't know how we will survive the cold winter weather outside the bus station. The food is consistent Sukiya standard and I'm making a post coz the touch screen is a big help (has English option) and very efficient! After ordering, the food came in minutes. Free flow ice water and ginger too! And you can pay by card too. Recommended for convenience 👍

Sukiya is one of top chain fast food "Ya" (屋 meaning House) in Japan. The others being Yoshinoya (𠮷野家), Matsuya (松屋) and Coco Ichibanya (壹番屋). This eatery has many merits: 24 hours operation, good location, extensive menu, easy to order on app, efficient service, fast turnover, affordable and convenient for single diners and tourists. The demerits of ⭐⭐ was warranted because food was not served hot (it was room temperature at best) and there are stains on the partition 🧐 I ordered the unagi (charred eel) and gyu (sliced beef) don (rice bowl) set that includes a miso soup and salad. I added a raw egg and pickled radish. There was spectrum of bottled sauces, salad dressings and spices to invoke / provoke your palate 🤤. There is also a jar of pickled ginger, which was refreshing and delicious as a palate cleanser. You may also have unlimited refill to cold brewed tea. Yes, I'd return again for their seasonal menu! The taste is consistent and and the experience is authentically and positively Japanese 🙏.
