The server was very responsive! When my steak was overdone, he immediately brought me a burger. They don't usually serve it with lettuce and tomatoes, but they found some for me! The burger was very well seasoned. Yum! It was served with homemade chips. The flour less chocolate brownies with almonds was fantastic. Again, our server to the rescue with delicious whipped cream to use. It was like a Canadian (or Spanish, I'm told) experience so don't come in a rush! It proceeded at a very leisurely pace. 😁

I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant recently and it was great experience. The atmosphere was cozy, the service was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, from the traditional Spanish tapas to the succulent grilled octopus. Great spot for great food and service. Been here a few times now and they are simply consistent, have a friendly staff, good drink choices and a mix of locals and visitors. Pictured was a special for the day, Shishido peppers and buttermilk fried chicken sandwich with an egg. Worth checking out.

4.5 Stars. We went here for dinner and it was great in all aspects! The service was super friendly and really quick. The menu has a lot of options for both tapas and main dishes, including great vegetarian options. I would highly recommend the Goat Cheese Salad, which was fresh and had flavor depth, the Chickpea Sauté, which was quite unique and tasty, and the delicious Mac and Cheese!

While at the New York State Council of School, Superintendents Fall Leadership Conference, I had the opportunity to have dinner, dessert and a lot of drinks with a number of friends and people that I look to call my friends. This was my first time having Seabass that tasted so good. The amaretto sour drinks were awesome. While the Italian butter cake was tasty, I really wish that it was warmed up with the ice cream and cherries on top. The restaurant is very nice with the decor, clean and great setting for people to meet up.

We ate on the patio and it made for a super dining experience, relaxed yet refined. Started with the scallops appetizer, completely the best presentation of scallops we ever had. Then one of us got the pork chop, which was very tasty, and the other got the lobster special which was over the top delicious but way too much food, the portions are huge. I'm going going back.

We are usually very critical when going out to eat, however this place does NOT need to improve a thing. We ordered so many dishes and they were all Perfect. The drink selection is so perfect also. The service and bar attenders were amazing. Colin and Sarah took care of us. Wonderful staff. We will be back every time we come to Saratoga. THANK YOU for such a great evening.

This establishment in Saratoga is definitely one of the top-notch places to visit. The General Manager, Robert, and the bartender, Devin, are both delightful. The menu is exceptionally well-planned, offering a wide range of options. One of my personal favorites is their wedge salad, which is prepared with delicious pickled ingredients and crispy textures. The Japanese-style oysters are incredibly fresh, and the scallops are cooked to perfection. They have a tasteful wine list, and we enjoyed a beautiful bottle of Sancerre. To top it all off, their beignets are absolutely outstanding, rivaling those of New Orleans. And let's not forget the perfectly crafted espresso martini. Bravo!

My wife and I attended this evening. We started things off with the shrimp and the truffle tortellini. The shrimp sadly was forgotten, but we didn't really need it anyway. The truffle tortellini had a very delicate flavor but tasted very good. Our entrees came shortly after, scallops and Singapore noodles. The scallops sadly were under seasoned and the pork belly was very very tough. But the puree under the scallops tasted good. My wife's noodles tasted very good, but I feel most of the flavor came from the sauces it was drowned in. However, it was very good comfort food. We finished our entrees and the desserts again came promptly. Cherry ricotta cake and coconut pastry cake. The cherry ricotta cake tasted good, but it had a bit of a strange texture, but that might just be because I'm not used to the way it's made. The cherries on top tasted delicious and the homemade whipped cream with pine nuts was very good. However, the aftertaste had a bit of a chemical taste to it. The coconut cake was good but the only coconut seemed to be sprinkled on top. It would have been better if the coconut was better integrated into the cream. The shortbread was also very thick. The service was extremely attentive, almost to a fault. I don't feel having our glasses filled for us every 90 seconds when we've taken one sip was necessary. I'm not exaggerating. My wife at one point hadn't even taken a sip and they were refilling already and reaching around us. I gave this restaurant four stars. My justification was that the food was pretty good with a few issues but nothing mind-blowing. The service as I mentioned was very attentive and everyone was very kind. I only deducted one star for minor inconveniences and flavor incompatibility but that's just for me. I still feel the chef did a very creative job and has created a very comprehensive and diverse menu!

When in Saratoga Springs you have to go to Seneca. The food was so good. The food is made with fresh ingredients and obvious care. Everything we ate was spectacular, from the Watermelon Salad to the Burnt Pork Ends to my favorite the Shrimp and Grits, you can not go wrong. The service was phenomenal as well. When you go maybe you will be lucky enough to have Abby for a waitress. She’s sweet, jovial and gives awesome suggestions.

Anna was incredible. Our first experience was perfect. The service was 10/10 the food was melt in your mouth perfect. Probably the best burger I’ve ever had. The atmosphere of the restaurant is welcoming and invites you to stay as long as you want. The open gym gives a wonderful inside feel of the chefs giving love to each plate that’s prepared. Highly recommended. Updating to show more delicious food from their fall menu. This restaurant deserves your attention.

Great food and cocktails!! The creativity and ingredients are top notch. We had the lobster Bao buns for an appetizer and they were delicious. I had the Caribbean jerk chicken for my entree and it was very tasty-an entire half chicken, cooked perfectly and served over mashed sweet potatoes. In the past, I’ve had other great appetizers there like the rolls (homemade butter, very good) and the pierogis. The other entree I have really enjoyed is the hangar steak. It is a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for and the location is amazing-walk around town after dinner.

Great spot. The service was amazing. Staff/server was great. Food came out in a timely manner. I got the special of the day. A pasta in aged Alfredo sauce with scallops and shrimp. Meatballs as an appetizer, they were fantastic. Make a reservation for sure. We had a reservation and were seated right away. However, the person in front of me did not and they were told an hour and a half wait(this was at 6pm on a Saturday) not sure if it is a busy during the week.

The place was very busy on a Saturday night, loud. The services was good and the apps were excellent. We had the antipasto del forno- assorted apps, great pick. The entrees are generous portions. Overall it was a good night! Will be back with fam very soon.

From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the warm and friendly atmosphere, which set the tone for a fantastic dining experience. The service was impeccable, with our server going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and attend to our every need. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations, which made choosing what to order so much easier. Now, let's talk about the food. Wow! Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The ingredients were clearly fresh and of high quality, and the attention to detail was evident in every bite. I particularly enjoyed the seafood ravioli, which was cooked to perfection and had just the right balance of savory and sweet flavors. Unfortunately, the table where we were seated was near an exit door. The door was constantly opened and closed. This caused a cold draft to rush in multiple times throughout our dinner and our party was slightly uncomfortable. Overall, it was a good experience but I would be mindful of the position of the table. Perhaps, placing a divider between the door and the table would prevent the inconvenience.

Just returned from this restaurant after date night with my husband. This was only our second visit, but it may have been our last. Keeping it simple, I'm angry about the salad. Sometimes it comes down to the basics. I ordered the $14 Cesare salad. I began eating it and noticed it had a funky taste. Upon closer inspection, it had brown bits with the ends showing pink mold. The picture is just what I picked out. I couldn't eat or dig any further. I complained to Azeb, our server, and assumed it would be removed from our check. Well, surprise, surprise, it was not. No, she charged us full price for that nasty lettuce. Lesson learned: always complain directly to the manager and, ultimately, don't return to any of the DZ Group restaurants. If they are willing to pawn off moldy lettuce on patrons at one restaurant, they'll do it at all of them. Fortunately, there are plenty of other Italian restaurants in Saratoga! -In recalling my first visit here, the 2023 Mother's Day Brunch, every mother was supposed to receive one free Mimosa. Upon our arrival, I requested said Mimosa. I was presented with a horrible concoction the bartender created. I couldn't drink it and requested a regular Mimosa. Too late, we discovered that we were charged for both drinks - no free Mimosa as advertised. Wish I would have remembered that when I made the reservation for this evening! Never again!

My husband and I visited on a Thursday evening. We made reservations, but upon arrival, chose to sit at the bar (it’s often our preferred seating). We were greeted by friendly bartenders who were attentive and took great care of us. We very much enjoyed the grilled octopus and Caesar salad, as well as our entrees of eggplant parm and lasagna. My espresso martini ‘dessert’ (made with decaf espresso!) was delicious. A great experience & will definitely be back!

The ambiance gets you right away before you’re even greeted by the wonderful staff. Next comes the menu, and delicious warm bread with salt crusted butter. Our waiter, Micheal, was sharp and knowledgeable which added to our experience. The French onion Soup with the puff pastry was spot on. My wife’s Delmonico steak was worth the $85 dollar charge, my 10 oz filet Oscar was worth the up charge which came with a sizable portion of crab. The charred crust of each steak was prepared to perfection, both steaks a perfect medium. Chocolate bar dessert to go was a hit after the drive home. The bill was pricey for sure, but you get what you pay for. Maybe stick to anniversary or special occasions. Thanks again!

Expensive, but expected. Stepping right off the street restaurant with reservations was louder than expected. If you want quiet, definitely look into sitting within the hotel. Very tasty experience. Lovely leather details. Extensive wine list, fun cocktails. Expected choices and some unique ones. All the food was divine in taste, not too salty, well portioned, well presented. Very limited for food allergies or gluten sensitivities. Wait staff, servers, and bussing staff all very courteous. Restrooms are far away in the hotel. Not bad. Just be away.

One of the best grilled octopus ever , it was melt in your mouth good. My husband ordered medium rare steak , they told him it was a little over and they asked if he wanted to try it. He said no , but that it would take 15 min for another one. They brought us a complementary salad and appetizer while we waited. He said it was worth the wait , steak was perfectly done.

Hattie’s is about about perfect- I see why it’s been around so long. The food is pleasantly familiar southern dishes without being heavy or salty. The staff are friendly and gracious. After several meals during a short stay in Saratoga, I can say every item was fantastic. The fried chicken is famous for a reason, and very light on crust. The ribs are soft and tangy. The shrimp and grits were smooth and delicious. The prime rib is steakhouse quality and a seriously good value.

We also had average tasting stuffed mushrooms (expensive at $13 for 4 medium mushrooms). Yummy hush puppies (~$11.50) were crunchy in the outside and light and fluffy in the inside; caramelized onions were not detectable, accompanied by homemade honey butter. The fried chicken was perfected cooked. The catfish was on the oily side: side of collard greens were excellent. Pass on the corn bread (small portion, $2.50) and the tiny hard biscuit ($2.50)

The fried chicken was so nicely crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The mac and cheese was rich and creamy and not at all overwhelming. Also had the fried chicken sandwich which was just ok - didn’t have the crispy consistency I expected and the seasoning was a bit much. The baked beans and rice were also so-so, lacked flavor. Would definitely come back for the fried chicken and Mac!

What a great find! I'm a southerner, so to be honest I was skeptical because good southern food is hard to find in the northeast. But this place is legit! We had hush puppies, jambalaya, red beans and rice, and gumbo, and it was all great. Service was excellent and the covered patio was like a little hidden garden.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding here in 2018. At that time, everything about the restaurant and service provided through Mazzone was outstanding. We had only fond memories of our wedding, which was the last time we were here. For that reason, we did not see any reason to read recent reviews, which we now know that we should have. Fast forward to our 5 year anniversary- we made a reservation for dinner. Our good spirits were quickly diminished when we sat down for dinner. We were introduced to two servers. We then were given stale bread and waited for water refills and cocktails the entire meal. Long periods went by without any acknowledgment or being checked on. At first we chalked up the bread not being fresh to a wedding, thinking, okay maybe we had leftover bread from lunch, and that the wedding should get the best bread available. We had also long anticipated coming back for our favorite Surf and Turf Tempura Rolls. That evening, they were made with very hard, undercooked rice. Regrettably we sent them back. The Caesar salad was good. My husband’s Halibut tasted off and he did not eat any. We ended up sharing my burger; the fries were absolutely soggy and limp so we couldn’t have those, either. We had to wait a long time for the bill. They were nice enough to take off the tempura rolls. Before this we were considering another large, private milestone event at the venue and will no longer be doing so. The word to be used is not disappointed, it is sad. We left feeling sad on our anniversary. We probably won’t be back any time soon unless we hear these ongoing issues are properly addressed.

Everything about our experience was a notch above the rest. The Resteraunt from the minute you drive up is spectacular. Upon entry you are greeted by beauty. This is just the beginning. The staff is professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The wine list is extensive and the food was delicious and presented beautifully. Highly recommend.

This is such a beautiful venue. The grounds are spectacular. The customer service is excellent. I do want to dine here next visit. We attended The Feast of the Fields yesterday evening, and it was a great turnout. The event was a fun-filled, delicious evening featuring top chefs preparing small plates from fresh ingredients harvested by local farms, along with enticing products and drinks from local producers. A silent auction filled with items and experiences from local businesses and artisans.

Their chowder is good. Really developed broth flavor. That's the only thing I can tell you about their food, because the only time I can afford to eat here is during Chowderfest. Still, I enjoy my yearly visit for chowder 🙂
