Dine in on 18th June 2023 with 4 kids. Bought the set for 4 which consists of rice, seafood tom yam, mixed veges, garlic popcorn chicken, thai chilli steam tilapia fish, omelette and add on salted egg prawn. Seafood tom yam tasted original, doesn't taste like it is from instant paste. Garlic popcorn chicken was so soft and delicious. The kids finished them all! (Wanted to take thr photo but he kids gobbled them up alr) The thai chilli steam fish was spicy and sour at the same time, very refreshing! My favourite was the salted egg prawn! Not easy to combine the taste and coat them properly but they did it! However, they only served tilapia fish. Which was ok for me. Thank you for the good food!

1st time trying & it leave a deep impression for me & my family. The food was nice, boss & staff is friendly. Portion is huge & boss is not pushy kind just to earn more. We even went back another rd before departure and ate the same set! Price wise is on average side.

Thai food really good here. Recommend the fish -fresh and tasteful cooking. Tomyam really nice. Kungpo chicken also excellent. I would come again even if it's not in Genting. To be able to dine such great food in the sky is real bonus.

Agree with everyone- this place is seriously under-rated! Food was delicious, portions generous, service impeccable and price point is pain free. Don't be put off by the facade/decor of the place. It looks like a bar, but the food is at par with some of the best Thai restaurants in KL. Highly recommended!

Food is really really really not delicious Why can't sell more delicious food 🙂 Service also bad, order placed on scanning, waited 10 minutes and showed to staff and ask why the food is not here, she just say ignore and wait. Waited another 10 minutes, asked another staff, we need to pay first, then only food will serve to the table 😶

Food was 5 Star before this visit. Deduct 1 star due to they changed their white rice. Last time taste like fragrance rice. Used to eat Roasted Duck Rice. Consider very nice & fragrance here as compared to the another option, Lxxxx Restaurant in the casino. Roasted Pork rice also good, the skin so crispy & fragrance, meat juicy. Added star on their effort of putting very fragrance garlic oil on top of their vegetables. (Deduct 9GP can redeem free set meal here with a cup of hot Chinese Tea (worth RM24), which is recomended & value for money).

Surprisingly a good food court located in genting grand hotel. I had a couple of noodles and rice dishes which we share amongst the family. I totally loved the roasted pork and char Siew rice.

Great atmosphere. Polite and courteous staffs bringing you to your seatings and advising on menu. This restaurant also participates in the casino free meal vouchers. The food spread offered on the free meal menu is pretty good. We had the steamed chicken with chinese sausage and roasted chicken rice. Both were delicious. I very much loved the chili paste. Super spicy and fragrant. Thank you :)

Supee fantastic! Arrived at 1 p.m, very crowded but luckily we get our seat immediately. Service was good, fast and waiters are all attentive. Food was 10/10, super good! Best chinese food we ever ate in Malaysia. Ingredients are very fresh, seasoning rich, super fragrant, meat are tender, veggies still crunchy. Perfect!!

A restaurant in Genting best known for its steamed fish. We had the soon hok (a local river fish) which was one of the best steamed fish I’ve had. The meat was soft and succulent and extremely tasty, and there were minimal bones. The crispy pork belly is also recommended, and they do a variety of other seafood and dishes too. Very popular spot, but worth the wait in my opinion.

Giant river prawn soup with glass noodles in claypot - Soup is nice but prawn is abit over cooked (RM106 for 2 big prawns). Steamed chicken with ginger sauce - Ginger sauce is nice but portion given is kinda small with a lot bones (RM32). Fried mix vegetables with fried shrimp and garlic - Taste is superb especially the eggplant (RM18) The restaurant is very crowded.

Despite their bad reviews, we decided to give a try and were not disappointed. We had the set menu, it was delicious. Lohbak was good too. Service was not attentive. Reasonable price for Genting Highlands.

This is a nyonya restaurant located in Genting Highlands. It offered a large variety of dishes , ranging from noodles like nyonya laksa, rice, vegetables, fish, chicken, etc. We ordered a set meal for 2 people, which included sweet sour fish, belacan kangkung, cincalok fried eggs, ngoh hiong and rice. The meal can actually feed 3 to 4 people. The sweet sour fish is too sweet and too starchy. The other dishes are ok. We also ordered pie tee. The pie tee itself is ok but doesn't go well with the Thai chilli sauce.

We've decided to give Babajia a second chance and sadly.. the food still tasted horrible. This time, eggs were spoiled, turn sour and rubbery, the pie crust was soggy. Porridge was bland. Acar was such a disappointment and Beef Rendang was super salty. :( It's a really busy restaurant but waiters were kind and nice on that day.

Service was good but for the price that we are paying, the taste is sadly not up to mark. The Char koay teow feels like basic instant koay teow that was kept in a food warmer and just re-heated as there are clearly pieces of noodle that are dried up. No wok hei either. The otak-otak fried rice was spicy but nothing spectacular either. Other dishes we had like rendang beef was not tender either.

It was our 3rd visit last night and it was a fantastic experience this time, just the same as our 1st visit. We didn't give up on them after our disappointing 2nd visit which was way below expectations. We love the porter house signature, paired with red wine. That's just perfect for 2. Keep it up, W Genting!!

I had my lunch at this place. I opted for the 3-course lunch set and the beef steak was absolutely fantastic. However, the waiting time between the courses was a bit lengthy. I also tried the "old fashioned sauce," which is a tomato sauce with added sugar. Upon tasting it, the initial flavor was sour, but after the sourness faded, it became sweet, which was quite unique.

Overall had a pleasant experience. They only offer set lunch which was either the grilled salmon RM168 or the beef sirloin RM188. Well, obvi went with the cow. Turned out ok. Not great, abit tough. Asked for med rare. Wasn't chewy but was alright. Set comes with salad, main and dessert. Apple strudel was a lil soggy for me but I couldn't finish it. Too much for me. Overall loved than setting & ambiance. Service was impeccable. Wines were reasonable, from rm130++ but didn't have any. They had a special sauce they served was quite nice. Goes well with the beef cos it was a lil dry. Don't mind coming back if I'm here again.

Good experience overall. The recommended porterhouse steak we had was just ok, nothing to shout about but I would usually go with the tenderloin. Overall loved than setting & ambiance. Wine cost was reasonable ..starting from rm130++ Mushroom / black peeper sauce was not included. You can order it separate on the side - Rm8 if not mistaken.

Overall food is above average. The seafood pasta was very nice. The old fashion sauce was special. Rice with beef patty was not nice. Nice environment but the music doesn't seems to blend in, it would be perfect if play some softer music. Diner can enjoy complimentary bread. Its pricey, but for the renovation and location is ok.

My wife wanted to try out this restaurant. We went and was really satistified with their food quality and friendly service. The beef patty in the burger was juicy and flavourful. The fish and chips too gives a crunchy outer layer while the cod fish fillet was fresh. They are serving beers too and it allows you to up a level of enjoyment. Will definitely come back again soon.

The ever so famous fish n chips from the UK here in Genting. I guess you still need to depend on the Brit's to get a proper fish & chips meal. Ordered the Cod and potato soup. They have different kinds of fish and sizes, i order medium for sharing. Taste wise almost the same as the one i tried in the UK. Price is on the higher side. Service is good with very attentive waiters on site. Just a side note, the salad add on is wayy too overpriced for a small portion of greens 😭 Other than that, i had a good experience.

The standards, particularly for the battered fish have remained the same - sumptuous however I can’t say the same about the other dishes. The gravy wasn’t as thick and creamy as it use to be, and the chips were rather soggy. Disappointingly the mash potatoes are no longer on the menu. Overall ambience was alright and the service on this particular day was commendable. But in all honesty I will not return as all the other dishes on offer were either average or below it.

My to go place for fish & chips. Came here a couple of time and it doesn’t disappoint. However, my most recent visit felt that the standard drop a bit and wasn’t as great as before. The fries (or chips) was soggy and gravy is also watery. Fish is ok but felt that something is missing or felt off. The signature lemonade felt flat as compared to my previous visit. Hope that my next visit it will have improvement.

Amazing experience! We’ve ordered boneless chicken leg and the famous fish & chips, both taste amazingly delicious! The waiter who served us is polite and attention to detail. I was astonished by the superb service and great food here. The ambience is very chill with dim lights. Will definitely dine here again whenever I return to Genting. Till then!

This place serve a variety of local cuisine and the price is reasonable in Genting Highland... Food is reasonably good and the seating is okay and comfortable. Away from the mainstream crowds and provide a somewhat relaxing atmosphere. Enjoy your coffee with lunch or dinner. Nice place to chill and hang out. Surprisingly, their Bak Kut Teh is reasonably good. Meat is juicy and tender. Try their in-house Soup too. It is good.

It’s affordable and the Bak ku teh soup it’s really nice is a must try if you adore rich flavour.The claypot rice and prawn omelette taste pretty average.The service is fine the staffs are friendly but quite shocking a lot of stuff cannot be ordered as lack of ingredients.

Food and drinks not bad. Service was good too during our visit here. The coconut shake here is really delicious. You can taste and chew the coconut flesh bits, unlike some other places where ice cream is added to make it more creamy which spoils the natural coconut taste. The butter prawns, pig stomach pepper soup and fried leek with roasted pork belly all tasted quite nice

7 July 2022 Disappointed with the food. Half cooked, mediocre tasting. Was drawn by the high star reviews. However it is terrible, standard probably drop after the pandemic. Current chef was not thoughtful or passioned with the cooking. Initially I was still hopeful of the food despite having almost no patrons but only despair was left after eating Bak Kut Teh meat was tough, noodles were half cooked, large chunks of egg shell in the omelette even a simple honey lemon drink was disastrous. I hope the owner recognise it and start making corrections and I hope to one day come back to this place again appreciating the dishes. If not there is only ending to this food establishment. I hope the owner see this msg.
