We live nearby and always said "we'll go eat here sometime" today was the day and I have to say it's a shame we didn't come here sooner. There is no other way to say the food TOP. We had a starter and a main course both very good 👍. The main course was paella 🥘 it was also very tasty (like in Spain)... for dessert it was very tasty and a nice end to a good meal. Thanks to the kitchen and the staff for this good meal! See you soon ;-) The Riechert family

Excellent price-quality rate. We stayed 5 nights. Very uniqe designed rooms, all staff smiling, private car park, the beds are comfortable but may be improved, coffee in the room. If you want a budget hotel with good amenities this is the place you can stay

Business Trip stay. Friendly Service and nice modern rooms. Unfortunately noisy architecture when it rains or your neighbor stays up all night. Breakfast was great and had a good athmosphere, thank you!

The Hightea is horrible. It's more a lunch gone bad. Nothing to do with Hightea. Granted, it's not expensive, but it's also not worth whatever you pay

Best Chinese in our local area we travel from Burnley to Nelson to eat here as thr Chinese food shops in Burnley are rubbish in my opinion. Also the salt and pepper is exactly 💯 👌

Ordered here as I fancied a change, now wish I hadn't. Disappointed with both the food and the customer service, and I'll be going elsewhere in future. I ordered here as I fancied a change from my regular takeaway, I had heard good things so figured it was worth a shot. The food came and I realised the order was incorrect. On the phone I had specifically asked if they did noodles without beansprouts, she said they did and added plain noodles to my order, when she read the order back she confirmed plain noodles. The noodles arrived with beansprouts and veg in them, so naturally I rang them to let them know. I explained that I had ordered them plain, but they had not arrived plain. She was adamant that she had not written down plain and the order was correct, despite the fact I had gone the extra mile to confirm they did plain noodles. I hoped that they would at least offer an apology and possibly either replacement noodles or free noodles next time, no such offer was made. Ended up binning them as I can't stand bean sprouts. I understand mistakes can be made, it's just irritating when you specifically asked if they could do plain, and when you ring up in the hope of resolution the woman is rude. I had also ordered salt and pepper chicken strips, but what came was a breast cut into strips, so I suspect there must have been a misunderstanding here. There also wasn't a great deal of chicken for the price and the tray was mostly onions (see picture). Not great for the price On the plus side there were quite a few chips, but they were pretty dry. Ultimately I suppose the food wasn't awful, but was far from the best. The customer service left much to be desired. There are better local takeaways that offer nicer food, with good customer service at a similar price. I have heard that it is under new management, so maybe that is why standards are not as good as people say they used to be, but ultimately it does not excuse poor customer service and for now I'll be avoiding good fortune in future. EDIT: Since writing this review the owner has contacted me, apologized and offered a refund for the noodles.

Absolutely awful, the worst I have ever had. Normally absolutely love the food here, but last night I have to say I will not be going back here again. There was an unusual smell to all the food we ordered, and when I tasted it it was not nice at all, needless to say I couldn’t eat it. I telephoned and spoke to the man who takes the orders and asked had they changed whatever they do the cooking in to which he informed me no. I said the food was not nice at all tonight and I was very disappointed, it was a though he wasn’t bothered. Not a problem I just will never go again, which is a shame seeing as we have been going there for a number of years.

I ordered the jumbo fish an chips with 2 sides and the fish bites with chips. Chips were as fresh as they come and the jumbo fish was simply delicious. The batter was delicious an the fish tasted amazing with the sides mushy peas an curry. Price wise as you expect quite expensive cost me nearly £30 but well worth it. Food is fresh and will definately comeback here big shoutout to the manager Ali who sorted us out with seats inside and is a brilliant guy.

Visited with family after hearing about the different style of fish they serve. Was not disappointed! had the munch box with the hot and spicy fish sandwich with sides of fiery fish and chicken strips. Full of flavour and generous portion sizes. Would highly recommend this spot as no other chippy has a menu like theirs. The staff were friendly and welcoming

Awesome place to eat delicious food! This eatery has everything. The decor and atmosphere is really nice, it provides a family friendly environment. There's plenty of indoor seating. Situated in a prime location with parking close by. The food is delicious and well known. The staff are super hardworking and friendly and the food is well priced. Would definitely recommend 10/10

Mum and I stopped for quick lunch today, shared fish bites and chips, really delicious! Lovely crispy chips (not the usual soggy things!) and really soft tasty fish in batter. Will be going again when we are passing! Parking a bit tricky though! Thank you

Would definitely recommend mother hubbards! Thier food is delicious, portion sizes are huge compared to other chip shops. The customer service is excellent. All the staff are extremely friendly and polite. The shop is always clean. Would highly recommend.

Decided to have a celebratory meal here and was not disappointed. There was 10 of us and the staff managed to keep us well looked after and we’re helpful and friendly. The food was great and tasty. The place was clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend and will be back at some point soon no doubt.

First time visiting this pub, went for the veggie options as most places are limited. Very relaxed atmosphere, proper ‘pub grub’ all the food was good and the waitress serving us was particularly friendly. Will definitely go again.

Absolutely beautiful steak . Cooked to perfection.. I didn't think much of the frozen chips, they were a bit greasy and the onion rings wasn't great but the steak was yum!

A great pub to drop in for a a quick pint and a bite to eat on your way home. I had the piri-piri half chicken, which was very moist and falling off the bone, but prepare yourself if you choose the "hot" option. It's worth noting there are plenty of vegan options available too. The bar service was nice and speedy, and the outdoor seating area with a farm view is ideal for the summer months.

We visited on a busy Saturday evening for an anniversary meal with 6 other family members, 3 were late arriving and the staff were great and very understanding. Good selection on the menu The food was delicious, well presented and reasonably priced. Compliments to the chef !! The waiting staff were young but very professional and friendly. Our server JD was lovely & very helpful. Definitely worth a visit. Can’t wait to return!!

Cozy, Welcoming , Great Food and Good service is all I can think of when I thing about this place . Was in Essen for two days. A friend recommended this place and I came out so happy and satisfied by the services . The food was my absolute favorite . Tempted to try everything as I loved everything I ordered . Definitely finding my way to this restaurant again or going to the other locations just for the food . Best pizzas around. We have a family pizza night (cheat meal) every Saturday night and always get our pizzas from pizza perfection. Worth the drive from Burnley. Hubby recommends the chocolate fudge cake.

Totally gorgeous, authentic, fresh, oven fired pizza made with fresh dough and at a great price. Best pizza place around! Not only that but the Spare Ribs are mind boggling and the pasta dishes are also really tasty. Baked potatoes from the oven? Yes! Highly recommended.

Awesome pizza. The dough is freshly made and rolled. This place actually put a lot of cheese on your pizza! Other places don't put as much. The pizza is delicious and made just right. The service is brilliant and the location is very good. Would definitely recommend 10/10

Pizza Perfection have been around a long time and are generally excellent (there's been the odd occasion where it's been slightly overcooked, so not quite to perfection). You can tell it's all made fresh, good ingredients. Five stars because more often than not, you'll get excellent food at good prices and service.
