This was a good dish. My first go around. Not enough rice!!!!! I hate when cashiers ask if your taking your meal to GO! There is overcrowding amongst the food station where the employees prepare the food. That was weird to watch. I swore they where going to trip over each other 4/28/2019 My entire dish was cold Apple slaw sucked Salsa Verde sucked My chicken was cold. I felt welcomed by the cashier but not by the person who gave me my food. I'm done.

Very yummy chicken and side veggies (charred broccoli and sweet potato). Really enjoyed the meal. The 1/4 chicken was a bit smaller than I'd like and I'm a small stomach person~ but the sides are abundant and filling, so it's not that I went hungry, but I wish the bird was a bit bigger! I tried the tangy bbq sauce and the habanero mango. First one was perfect for me, second one a bit spicier than I can handle, but my partner loves it. Price including tax was $11.16, not a bad deal.

Lovely little place with mostly delicious food. The chicken was tender and the roasted broccoli tasted crunchy. The Mac n Cheese was a bit mushy and bland. The food comes quick and half a chicken with two sides at a price of around 17$ is fair - especially considering that the meat is free of antibiotics (and probably organic, although I don’t remember).

We went to the 72nd Street location. The meal was outstanding. Service was quick, staff was professional and the food was well prepared. The location is small and there is a counter with three seats. We were lucky they were open so once we ordered we quickly occupied. Pan Fried chicken is a southern technique. It is unlike other restaurants which deep fry or the outcome is on a thicker batter. The sides are incredible but be careful as you don't try and order everything as they are so tempting. Prices are affordable. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience.

Their pan-fried chicken was amazing! We walked by this place a lot, and it smelled really good all the time. Some customers commented how delicious the pan-fried chicken was when we were placing the order. Highly recommend to try that plate, which came with two sides and one cornbread.

Great service !!!! Great atmosphere. The kid in the front was very polite and he explained the meal and was very patience but my gawd the food was disgusting!!!! The fried chicken was horrible. It wasn’t fresh at all and it was just old chicken from few days ago . The Mac and cheese was horrible also . I threw my food out . The white rice and collard greens was good . I’m upset that we walked this far and food was a big disappointment. Look at the picture dry chicken !!!!

Great customer service they actually greet you and they sound so nice! I was able to try the food before buying it. The sweet potato is perfect, the corn bread is so soft, the black eyed peas is delicious. I didn’t like the catfish, collard greens, Mac and cheese. But I didn’t feel welcomed, the server and cashier were friendly.

I recently ordered delivery from Charles Pan-Fried Chicken for the first time to celebrate Juneteenth. My order consisted of the 3 piece chicken (with cornbread) with sides of macaroni and cheese and collards, along with a request for peach cobbler. Unfortunately, the restaurant informed me that the cobbler was unavailable, so I decided to go for the strawberry cheesecake instead. Overall, my experience with Charles Pan-Fried Chicken was quite positive. Firstly, the portions provided were generous and satisfying. I received three chicken thighs, which I thoroughly enjoyed. However, I had anticipated a variety of chicken pieces to cater to different preferences. While this wasn't the case, the thighs were still flavorful and enjoyable, although they weren't as crispy as I had expected. The collards, on the other hand, were a standout. They were well-seasoned and cooked to perfection, adding a delightful and healthy touch to the meal. I enjoyed the cornbread as well. The strawberry cheesecake was a delicious choice as a substitute for the unavailable peach cobbler. It had a creamy texture and a burst of strawberry flavor, making it a pleasant way to end the meal. My only minor disappointment was the macaroni and cheese. It didn't quite meet my expectations in terms of flavor and overall enjoyment. However, this wouldn't deter me from giving Charles Pan-Fried Chicken another try in the future. In conclusion, I would definitely recommend Charles Pan-Fried Chicken based on my experience. Despite the slight letdown with the macaroni and cheese, the generous portions, delightful collards, and enjoyable chicken and cheesecake made it a worthwhile meal. I look forward to giving this place another chance and exploring more of their offerings. Ordered from Charles Pan- Fried Chicken for the second time this week. This time, I had their turkey wings smothered in gravy, along with collards, okra, and cornbread wings were pleasantly huge and the food was flavorful and tasty. Everything was enjoyable, and I highly recommend this place.

Fabulous fried chicken joint with lively interior. Staff are friendly and attentive, opening the door and handing guests with a menu as they wait in line. Food comes out relatively fast, and the fried chicken is well seasoned, flavorful, and moist. It's perfect on its own, but feel free to try out the many Asian inspired condiments. Biscuits are fresh, soft and pillowy. While a fast food, staff will also come over to throw out the trash promptly. Will definitely come back!

It's okay. I used to order from here with the ap but it's been incredibly glitchy for the past 6 months. This location doesn't open until 11:30 which is disappointing since I often have to take an early lunch at work. I wish it opened at 11 so I could order and then pick up in time for my lunch. I find that this location is often out of the dressing I prefer and there have been a few times in which my to go order has been missing items and I need to go back to the store. There's been a number of times where the POS system isnt working and they aren't taking orders. The chicken is good and I particularly think the spicy chicken is delicious. There's a good selection of sides from cheese curds to mashed potatoes. I just wish the location was better managed.

This was straight up not good I got a combo with three tenders and a bubble milk tea drink. The fried chicken tenders: Absolutely mediocre. It was more fried than chicken. There were not three tenders, but five undercooked, measly, small tenders. This may sound goofy to the reader, but the tenders looked dead. This food was pale because it was clearly not fried enough. Was it stale? I don't know, but the seasoning was barely there or you would miss it. Not a good look for a fried chicken place. The worst part is that the food screams prefried, then frozen. There is no way this was fried on the location. You usually should know to not expect this in this type of place, but if you make good food, sometimes you can fool the customer into thinking it was prepared better. The curly fries: Mediocre again. They were overcooked and oily. You know that bad fry taste? That's how it was. The biscuit: A little above mediocre, decent maybe? That's because this was clearly bought at a wholesale provider of biscuits. Premade. It was a bit brittle, which tells me it was either stale, or overcooked. I hope it was overcooked, because I took a bite and it completely fell apart. So rigid. My suggestion? Don't waste your time going here. Fast food is meant to be fast, but when the food is fast because you are rushing my meal in an empty store, what are you doing? Come on, do better. If my food will be better with a minute longer delay, wait. Maybe they're new to this, I don't know. But do you want to risk this?

One the best Popeyes. The stuff is fresh and clean. You can taste the difference. They have so many customers that the supply truck is always coming to refill them. The best thing is that you get Free refills on drinks which is cool. Even McDonald's don't have refills.

Bobs Whites no matter the day, time or weather has some of the best chicken sandwiches in the city. I would highly recommend checking it out. The service is fast and consistent. My only complain is that there is a .10 difference between the spicy and regular chicken sandwich, while I know they’re not putting 10¢ worth of seasoning on the chicken. It is seasoned well though maybe 3¢ worth haha. This is a perfect meal after going bar hopping in the LES/ East Village. I always get the spicy chicken sandwich along with the Mac and cheese.

DEFINITELY Fried chicken is not good for you. That being said, this is definitely a good chicken sandwich. I did notice that the line was longer at this food vendor then at the other beautiful vendors in the food garden. This is an excellent space, this urban food garden with beautiful food vendors and easy to access spaces to eat and bathrooms with excellent maintenance. It's very easy to come and go and a friendly inviting atmosphere with beautiful food vendors throughout. That is not always a given in a big busy city so I definitely give this general urban food garden high ratings. Sandwich review: excellent. The service was definitely on point and they delivered the sandwich quickly. It was delicious and as far as the chicken, very full thick chicken serving and it's great because the fried batter is minimal which makes it more acceptable as a delicious treat, not necessarily healthy but easy to get and hits the spot and basically quite high quality. The prices at this urban food garden are not that unreasonable given that it's New York City. So as far as my experience is definitely a recommend. It's easy friendly reasonably priced and accessible. What more can you ask for? Have a great day. I support an elevate local businesses when they care about what they do and produce a good product.

I heard about this spot from employees at Origins NYC. They always order great food so I figured I would try it out. They have no indoor seating but seating for 8 people out front. The menu is simple. They have sauces that you have to pay .50 cents extra for. They are most known for their chicken sandwich. I ordered Spicy chicken sandwich, lemonade and Mac and cheese. The chicken sandwich would have been amazing if it was fresh off the fryer. I bought and ate within 5 mins and the sandwich was completely at room temperature

Ate there a couple times and it is a better KFC. juicier chicken. Better mac & cheese; looks average but it’s good. Biscuit ain’t much better honestly but I still enjoy it. Plain old delicious food. Love everything here!! Fried chicken with biscuits & the buffalo chicken wrap are my personal favorites. Been here many times and great local place to grab a bite. But worth noting it's mainly take away. They do have casual tables outside to eat at.
