We enjoyed a great lunch here after a recommendation from one of the staff at La Cosmopolita. Situated in a lovely small square off the main shopping area. We had one of the rice dishes for main. The starters are accompanied with incredible sauces - very satisfying. Lovely staff with great service.

Really special spot in Malaga, just off the beaten path so it’s quiet and romantic. The food was exceptional. The service was second to none. I would haughty recommend stopping in for a bite, if fine, local cuisine is your type of thing. If you are picky and like boring everyday food this is not the place for you. You must be willing to appreciate the finer things in life and enjoy trying new things. I suggest the tasting menu as you will get the finest of local cuisine that is so extremely elevated it’s an experience not to be missed. We attended with our toddler, and while this is not a place I would recommend to take small children (if you are able) they did try everything they could to ensure she was happy but for our little this was hard as she’s in that extremely picky stage. Nonetheless I was impressed with the effort they put forth. Definitely would come back if I was in Malaga again.

Great food - really interesting flavour layers. The staff were fantastic - went above and beyond and made recommendations. A change from the usual offerings. Not much outside seating, so a shame it wasn’t more full of people because the food really deserved queues out the door! A lovely dining experience.

Made reservations at this gem of a restaurant during our Malaga stay and enjoyed the ambiance and food a lot! The lady was super kind and knowledgeable and explained the intricacies of the menu quite well. Patatas Bravas had quite a twist. The lamb and spider crab croquettes were deeeewlish. We had a WONDERFUL time at Kortxo last evening. The staff is so friendly, welcome and reassuring in terms of gluten free (for a celiac this is not a given and makes their whole day 😊 so thank you once again!). The atmosphere is relaxed and the food is so delicate and perfectly prepared. Everything we ordered (the artichoke, beef cheek, octopus, tarta de queso) was so well balanced, fulfilling yet light. A bit of a different take on some traditional dishes, without going overboard. Lovely!

Very friendly staff, and great wine and croquettes. Particularly the crab ones! Duck tacos were a bit disappointing, the flavours didn't seem quite balanced right. Also bizarre olive oil dish, that made it nearly impossible to actually dip your bread in (well, until I ripped the bread into teeny tiny pieces to reach the marginal amount of oil).

We stumbled upon this place by chance and it was a pleasant surprise. The place is a bit tiny, but has a good vibe. Very creative dishes and excellent service. The only sort of disappointment was the entrecote which was tender at all, whereas on the menu it says that it's matured for 21 days. We mentioned that to our waitress, and the chef came to talk to us. He said they had just changed their provider and he appreciated the feedback. Overall, I would recommend trying it out of your looking for something different.

The food was amazing as were the drinks even though the cocktails took very long time to come. it was my birthday and my mum wanted to surprise me with a birthday dessert she gave the staff the number 35 candles which they broke without having the courtesy to tell us and then asked if we wanted them because they had already thrown them away. So instead I got bought a dessert with a? Candle Very disappointing to the end of a lovely day was a bit of anti climax for my birthday 😪

Brilliant experience. We had the tasting menu and the food was great, the combination and the sequel was fantastic, and everything was super tasty. The service was out of this world. Everyone treated us brilliantly and made our night. Totally loved it and can definitely recommend it. The tasting menu was 125 per person including water and coffee.

What a gem of a little place, with very well-cooked food, fab desserts, and warm, genuine, fun service. David, Andrine, and Javier (all with excellent English) do the kitchen proud, explaining the dishes and investing in connecting with the customers. Loved the team! It's tasting menu only, €100 for dinner, pacing was very good, food extremely well cooked, especially the catch of the day (dourada) and the duck. Young chefs are still "finding their feet" a little with the "food journey" sequence, since recasting their style from tapas in 2019 to now - the menu is a little bit "international cuisine" (this could be London, Paris or Amsterdam, anywhere - a bit more Spanish culture injection a la Kaleja into the tasting menu could be a cherry on top), but 5/5 for trying. There is a lot to enjoy here, better and cheaper than some others in Michelin guide entries for Malaga, and you leave with the warm feeling in the tummy and in your heart.

Small restaurant. Small team. Small kitchen. Huge enjoyment. So far definitely the best culinary experience we had in Málaga. Excellent service, terrific dinner. Of course, you are in the upper price segment here, but in the end you get one of those evenings where you smile with satisfaction and say: it was worth every euro. When we arrived, we already felt very welcome. The service was perfect, friendly and very personal. Excellent advice on the wines and constantly increasing enthusiasm for the food. Appetizer top. Main course - we had both fish and meat - terrific and indeed dessert and espresso rounded off the dinner perfectly: the ganache? A dream ... Conclusion: rather go once less food, but head for the Blossom. Thanks without exception to the entire Blossom team for a great evening!

We’re glad we snagged a reservation for this Michelin recommended place. Service was on par with with we would expect. The tasting menu with wine pairings was tempting (€125/pax) but we’re glad we opted just for a couple entrees and dessert. The ceviche (silver snapper) especially was excellent.

Restaurant is with beautiful atmosphere in the CBD but the weekend the restaurant does set menu and it took 2:30h the dinner to eat all the dishes, which was really small. We were starving so it was the wrong restaurant for us that night. The food is really delicious but dishes too small for the price 100eur per person no drinks included.

One of the best meals of our entire vacation. A major highlight! Tip: Make a reservation. Walk ups are unlikely. It’s worth it, trust me! The place is buzzing, and it’s bigger than it looks. It also has air conditioning which is a big plus (not many places do). Sorry the photos are all of half-eaten food, it was so good that I forgot to take photos until after we’d already started eating! Seriously, this place is a must-visit. I’m so glad we were able to get a reservation :)

This restaurant is absolutely worth it the five stars, hands down. The service was as good as it gets: super quick and polite. The atmosphere of the place is great. The food is amazing. And please try the tuna with guacamole and mango. It is amazing.

This was hands-down the best meal we had during our five day visit to Malaga. We went in quite spontaneously without a reservation, and couldn’t have been more glad that we did! Lovely interiors, great service, and absolutely delicious food for good value. The duck breast and salmon were especially good. Also a special shout-out for the amazing cocktail bartender Ishmael (sorry if I’ve spelt that wrong!) who you can personally chat to and he’ll make you a cocktail suited to you (and that might blow your head off too). He made my partner an amazing mai-tai with real passionfruit and a flaming shot of absinthe! Loved it all, highly recommend.

Great place for traditional Spanish food. The homemade quail in (escabeche) is highly recommended. The prices are very reasonable. Their diecisiete is flatbread (molletes) with a variety of meats. There is terrace space for outside seating. The staff is very friendly.

We stopped here after visiting Malaga old town and the Cathedral. I had pate on small pieces of bread and a beer. My wife had sardine sandwich. Both were very tasty, the staff were lovely.

Bad service. Tourist trap. You are better to go at the Picasso tapas bar at least they got lime for there drink. They put fake ads on the street about a happy hour with mojito and Caïpirinha but when you ask them for it they say that they dont have the ingrédient to make it and the waiter is rude too ...

The entire experience was absolutely delightful. From the decor, the staff and off course the vast wine selection and the food itself. The 8-dish menu we had from these 2 talented chefs were spectacular. The flavors, textures and complexities using local ingredients with new methods of cooking and preparing were amazing. Nothing ever tasted like it. Truly a unique experience. What makes this price work and possibly their ability to survive is they are a bare bone operation. 2 chefs and 2 wait staff for 7 tables. Michelin establishment tend to bleed money after a while then close but they seem to have found a formula that works. Looking forward to coming back an ever changing menu. Best of the best culinary experiences in Malaga.
