First time trying this restaurant - overall decent experience. Food was good and within expectations given the crowd. Drinks were good - cocktails were good strength and wine list had a good selection. Service was ok and ambience was casual and comfortable. Need to book in advance for weekend nights.

Good food and great service! They were very attentive to our party of 12, and the feed me menu was very generous. The cocktails were a bit mediocre, unfortunately, but everything else was good.

Wanted to have a nice night out and this definitely lived up to expectations! Staff were attentive and polite. Food was so amazingly flavourful. Had the haloumi starter and it was honestly one of the best things I've ever tasted. Sans alcohol drinks were also delicious and a perfect palate cleanser between bites.

Food was good. We ordered the feed me up menu and I realised it was a lot cheaper ordering the dishes individually and sharing them. Service was great. Staff was friendly and kind. There was a big delay serving our desserts and we got a $50 discount over the total amount.

It is one of the best 'hidden' restaurants I've found in Perth. We walked in and were greeted with flavour abound, the plates are for sharing. I did try to eat the ribs by myself, but failed. Definitely will be back

I came here with my partner on Monday and was very impressed by the service and the food. I returned on Wednesday because it was that good and the owner recognised us straight away.I think it's great that the owner is so passionate, friendly and very enthusiastic. He treats his customers like friends and family rather than just a number. I couldn't recommend this place enough. Best banh mi and Vietnamese iced coffee in Perth. Iced tea was great as well. Definitely will be back again and will recommend to everyone and anyone who will listen 😊

Absolutely delicious! We had the original 3 meat combination banh mi, the spicy tofu banh mi (vegan) and the avocado banh mi (vegan). All 3 banh mis were so yummy and so generous with vegetables - they were filled to the brim with ingredients! The combination of flavours in the avocado banh mi was so delicious and creative - I loved it 😋 The spicy tofu banh mi was, true to its name, spicy and yummy too. Would recommend this place 👍

Fantastic avocado banh mì and iced coffee. It was so good I had to come back a few days later! Good number of vegetarian and vegan options, plus a vegan version of the iced coffee is available. Service was excellent both times as they’re very friendly, professional, and helpful.

Went at peak lunch time and had the best experience. Staff was amazing and food came extremely quickly despite how busy it was. Great vegan and non-vegan options. I had the peking tofu salad and it was delicious. Would come here again.

Absolutely superb. Food was excellent, service was great and the atmosphere was inviting. Love how grand the main dining area is too. Food was served in good time given how busy they were. Ribs were cooked to perfection and their chocolate lava cake was the perfect way to finish the evening.

Perfection in all ways. Excellent food, excellent service, excellent drinks, excellent environment. The only negative thing i can say it's just the price. It is very expensive so better go from time to time or on special occasions because you're going to spend minimum $100 per person. Special mention to Kayla our lovely waitress (she is just awesome)

Beautiful restaurant in a stunning heritage-listed building in the heart of Perth's CBD. The food was superb, the wine list outstanding, and our waitress (Chloe) was so friendly and helpful. Absolutely recommend and I can't wait to go back. 👌

Reluctant 4 stars. Steak isn't really my thing tbh, so idk if it is as good as everyone says it is. For entree I got the garlic bread. For the steak I got the New Yorker 350g (O'Connor) medium rare with the creamy garlic and side was mash potatoes. Also got onion rings and a non-alcoholic cocktail (just call it a mocktail 🙄) Love Thy Lychee. Garlic Bread came relatively fast and had pesto in it. Looks better than it tastes, though isn't bad, I liked it. Note the cheese may melt and it is surprisingly crunchy on the outside. Steak with mashed on the side and onion rings came abt 20min after. It was fine, though as others noted, very very chewy (making it feel less juicy then it should?). Mashed with the sauce and steak did taste pretty good though. Waiters forgot my drink and I had to stand up to remind them. Pretty annoying. Despite having 2 hours to sit down (of which I did not fully utilise), numerous servers there made it feel like a rushed experience, offering to clean up numerous times while I was still obviously eating. Overall, meh. If it wasn't that this was the first time eating steak ever, I wouldn't go here. Not worth the exactly $120 for my tastebuds.

A beautiful place for a brunch date either with friends or special ones. Nothing can beat these relaxing views and vibes and I’ve become their regular because of these reasons 🤩 The dishes were wonderful and I absolutely enjoyed everything I tried. By the way, this is the only place in Perth where I enjoyed fish and chips 🥰

After seeing all reviews online we were very keen to try The Partisan. The food was ok, reasonably priced but could be better especially the fish taco which literally had one thin strip of fish each. We sat outside with nice water views until it started raining the umbrellas outside do not cover/shade some parts of the table.

Great location with river views, ordered the seafood platter, the mussels were not the freshest, and the calamari was really chewy. The cocktail menu was fabulous, I will return and try the breakfast menu.

This is more of a fine dining restaurant. It’s a little bit pricey, and the portion size is also quite small. However, the food is delicious and beautifully presented. The food is served quite fast, and the dining area is quite spacious too. Although with many people in there, I don’t have to speak loudly to be heard, it’s actually a nice place for catching up. The only downside is that only one person takes your order, so you might need to wait before you can place your order.

Enjoyable food in a nice atmosphere with attentive staff and quick service. Their menu seems to change regularly and they offer a wide range of meals, with our small selection being well prepared, at the table within 10 minutes of ordering and of amazing taste. The only downside is that their breakfast menu ends around 10:30, but that is likely less of an issue for you than it was for us 😉

A bit pricey for such tiny servings and moderately ok-tasting food. My friend and I split the smashed avocado on toast and banoffee crepe between us and for around ~ 30 AUD per head you'd think you'd get a bit more for breakfast. It was an ok meal overall, just wish the servers had been more attentive to our table.

Sharing this for the first time after countless of visits. Mostly here for dinner. Petition is an upscale casual restaurant located inside the State Building in Perth CBD. It has a nice vibe and very popular. They have the best Broccoli & mixed grain salad, ever! The last time we dined here, we ordered chargrilled octopus, beef rump, heirloom carrots salad, broccoli salad, lamb loin and a few others. We enjoyed the food as usual but I must say for the very first time that the lamb loin was a let down. The taste was just not right. I’m sure this will be fixed. I didn’t take any star off because I’ve been here many times. This doesn’t tarnish the restaurant’s reputation in my eyes. Definitely will return to dine for more.

It was our first night in town after a long flight. 7 of us got together and had dinner here. The food was top and I had the Kangaroo steak. My friends had the roasted pork belly which I was told was also good. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and desserts to share and each one was a good potion for sharing. The staff were very friendly and service was excellent. Come here for a good meal with friends.

An intimate upscale restaurant in Perth CBD and very close to Elizabeth Quay. We enjoyed all the food that we’ve ordered. Tasty and delicious. Booking way ahead of time is essential especially for dinner if you prefer to be seated before 8.30pm. Fully recommended! I will definitely return.

Had my birthday dinner here and it was just amazing. It is definitely not overpriced as some people have mentioned here. The portion size is huge compared to a lot of other fancy places. I was so full by the time the dessert arrived. The food is amazing. And not to forget the service. The best foh service I’ve come across in a long time. The staffs were super friendly and just so fun to talk to. Took their recommendation for a red wine, which was $130 a bottle, but it was so worth it. And I love the dark romantic atmosphere of the restaurant. Highly recommend and I will be going back.

We had an amazing lunch experience here today. From the moment we arrive all the staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and polite. She noticed my wife birthday in the reservation note and the staff congregated her for it. Service was impeccable, staff always on top of it, happy to help and friendly at all times. We really feel like we are sitting in a 5 star restaurant. On to the food! The mushroom and ricotta tart was nice. It may be too heavy for a single person but it was nice little entree for sharing. The kangaroo, beef fillet, caulini and doughnuts were nice too. I wouldn’t say it exceeded our expectations but it was nice and enjoyable still. I was not fully satisfied at the end so in hindsight I should probably order the bread & butter or the potato for sides. But nevertheless we had a great time today and we really enjoy the place. Highly recommended for anyone looking to have special meal.

Everything was immaculate from the views on entry to the servers attention to detail. The attention to detail started from the flowers my friend bought for me got put in an ice bucket which I thought was a nice touch. You start off by getting some delicious freshly baked sourdough, it was warm and soft a nice start. I got the prawns minus the dairy they were delicious and the added freshness of the finger limes and native greens were a perfect pairing. I got to try my friends duck which was also delicious. They took my dairy intolerance into account for everything else I ordered and which I loved because I didn’t have to remind them with each dish. For the main I got the steak, perfectly cooked. But the real star of the show was the strawberry dessert I had the dairy free option and it was amazing! This is a place you would go to impress a date or a nice treat for yourself.

Totally indulgent 8 course delicious degustation. Every dish was phenomenal, with some standout surprises like the asparagus and also the sorbet desert. Had to go for the paired wines which were perfect. Staff were so super lovely and great background music. Best birthday dining experience I have ever had.

My family and I came here to celebrate my parent's wedding anniversary while we were in Perth, and it was a delightful dining experience. We tried their 6 course tasting menu and was very impressed. In particular, the duck and the desserts were really memorable! My dad doesn't like duck but he said it's the best one he's ever had. We will return when we are in Perth again :)

Over rated food and menu! Need to simplify the items and add some flavours to the food very small serves for the price they charge! would not recommend to anyone ! if you want to starve go there Wildflower mean no cooked veg or food just serve it straight from the farm 🤷🏽♂️ if i see the chef one advise i will give cook more and flavoursome and less decorations its a food at the end 🙄

In early September 2023, we had the opportunity to dine at Wildflower Perth. It was such a memorable experience, and I cannot wait for to be back in Perth to dine at Wildflower. We opted for the six-course tasting lunch menu. The chawanmushi was filled with umami flavour, that left me wanting more. The wagyu beef was so good, it was melting in my mouth. The line-caught wild fish was flavourful and it was cooked so well. The dry aged wagon duck was my personal favourite, it was cooked to perfection; the layer of fat was just right and the meat was super tender. For desserts, the tasting menu came with a muntrie dish with elderflower and bee pollen which was so refreshing and delicious; this was me second favourite dish. We ended off the meal with another dessert dish named sandalwood; it was a pear ice cream with biscuit and another flavour (which I can’t remember) that went very well with the dish. Throughout the entire six-course meal, we were served with bread and butter; we couldn’t stop ourselves from two rounds of refill as the butter was once of the best we’ve ever had. Overall, we enjoyed our meal at Wildflower. We were seated at a table with a nice view, the service was friendly, and prompt, and most importantly, the food was great. It was a meal that I will be talking about for quite a while with my family and friends. I loved it.
