This place had a really nice atmosphere and the service was excellent. The servers were very polite and went above and beyond. I loved the outdoor space and the lighting. The guy outside was pretty cool and made us laugh. As much as I loved this place and wanted to give it a 5 star rating, I had to give it 4. The food was good but that’s about it. We had the Pasta Verde and Ravioli. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either.

Amazing amazing amazing!!! Worth a train ride from The Bronx!! The service is great the staff are super friendly they help you pair your wine to your meal. The food was delicious everything they recommended came out perfectly. They are wheelchair accessible and let me say that they made sure we felt great. They made sure we had a great corner table access to the inside dinning.

Excellent food and service!! It’s not our first time coming here, and this restaurant does not disappoint! Came with the family here for Labor Day weekend, and the wife and kids loved the pasta and fried calamari! If you happen to come by Little Italy, I would definitely recommend stopping by this place! Affordable prices for high quality dishes and service…that’s how you earn a hefty tip! Two thumbs up for Casa Bella🙌

Really enjoyed the food. The lasagna was excellent!!! Alcoholic drinks are way overpriced ( I ordered a Coors and a Frangelico for $29 ) But the food is worth it. Good location in Little Italy and China town.

Had lunch here on a weekend. The place was not very crowded, service was good. Spaghetti carbonara was not upto our expectation since the menu said they were one of first ones to make the red sauce, it tasted fine though. I loved the pesto sauce in Gnocchi. Veg pizza was also good in taste. I liked the whole atmosphere which kinda gave the little Italy vibe.

The place is awesome! The service great and the food more than delicious, we ordered carbonara, gnocchi pesto, lasagna, and vodka pasta. Everything was super good, also we tried tiramisu, fresh and perfect taste! Machiato was good too, we are glad to choose this place.

Very basic dishes. Pasta are well cooked but I can really do the exact same tomato sauce at home without particular effort. The pizza is very greasy and salty. The service was quite slow. Why I put 1/5 only is because the tip is imposed. When the bill comes at the end, the tip is already included in the "Grand Total" and it is 18% after taxes. Whether you are happy or not, you will have to tip that amount. We tried to negociate with the waiter about that but there was no way.

This place is super cute there are red booths brick walls floral going across the ceiling the ambiance was very charming. We stayed simple and got the penne Al vodka and margarita pizza. A classic choice and we were happy about it. The garlic bread and complimentary bread before the meal was good as well. Carlos was our server, he was very friendly the whole time. We asked for a picture and he gave us a photo shoot. Very accommodating staff. If you are looking for a lovely little Italy for your quick New York vacation or night out with friends stop in. Great experience with a good atmosphere and very was a live vocalist singing in front for a majority of the meal.

An hour wait for our food during Little Italy festival. Pizza is pretty good but only four slices , the size of a personal pie. A small plate of pasta, very good sauce. Overall it’s pricey for what you get.

Great spot for Sunday evening dinner. Cozy and romantic atmosphere with candles on each table and plenty of windows. Food was amazing. The spaghetti di gamberi had a delicate but flavorful sauce. Enjoyed the big shrimp and al dente noodles. The rigatoni gennaro was packed full of flavor with peas, prosciutto, and mushrooms in a creamy tomato sauce. Service was a bit slow but this was a great late night option on a Sunday night when not many other restaurants were open.

Excellent food and service, especially, by Farouq.(excellent host) & Victor (head waiter). Al fresco dining with great ambience. Grilled fillet of branzino was exceptional…crispy skin and delicious, juicy meat. Pasta dishes were al dente with delicious sauce. The grilled octopus appetizer was very tender & tasty. Great music, sound system.

Good food served well at NYC prices. Regarding the atmosphere: it is the Little Italy atmosphere, I cannot say if it is close to Italian atmosphere. Sadly we noticed too late that the lasagna was partly cold. The cocktails are pricy but (Ginger Mule in our case) good. Price-performance ratio: 3/5

From brunch to lunch and dinners I absolutely love coming to Grotta Azzurra! The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere makes you feel like you’re in Italy! I love their French toast, eggs Benedict and chicken parmigiana with pasta!

One of the best and oldest in Little Italy. Since it was the last ‘hot’ summer evening of the year, we chose to sit outside. It was spacious and other guests were in good manners (not loud or smoking). We ordered a couple of frozen margaritas and moscato, which were so appropriate for the day! They gave us some complimentary yum bread with olive oil. After that we ordered pizza with prosciutto and seafood risotto. Portion was generous and taste was very classy, just like what you have in Italy. Price was good for such amazing outdoor space and friendly service. It was a lovely evening seeing people walk and enjoy their time. Would definitely recommend this place.

If you want to time travel.. This place will bring you back to the good ole days.. It’s now under new management and will adapt to the times… Better things ahead. A new lounge in the works. The food as well as hospitality is like being with family 🙌💕 and don’t forget to order pizza… Heaven sent.

My family and I have been here twice the past year, and each time has been a pleasure. The food and service were impeccable. The staff were friendly and helpful. On our last visit our son stayed at the table (we were seated outside) while my partner and I went down to the rest room. The line was long and there was no phone reception. The staff kindly spoke with our son and the hostess came down to ensure we were okay. Their kindness and empathy went above and beyond. Definitely visit when you're downtown.

Wow not only was the service by EZ (hope I'm spelling it right but probably not) AMAZING! but the food was amazingly delicious as well. My girlfriend had the chicken francese and I had the mushroom truffle tagliatelle. The unlimited mimosas were delicious as was the buratta and the pistachio ice cream to finish it off. Thank you for a great date!

The Food here is so tasty and well made. the staff is very friendly and professional. the drinks are 10/10 the bartender is really sweet and like to get to know her customer to better recommend drinks that they will like. I have referred many friends here and they have all reported great things from here. The owner of this restaurant is also very nice and likes to make sure that the customers are satisfied and happy. everyone here works very hard to make sure that you get great service and have a good time. I have not had a bad meal from here. one of my favorite things to get is their lamb chops it's so good ( may go there today just to get this). my other favorite thing from here is their carbonara its so tasty. I recommend coming here 10/10.

We stumbled on Lunella after a long day of touring and are so glad we stopped in. The service was fantastic and the food was incredible. We got 4 different pastas and all were fabulous. The gnocchi was pillowy soft in a delicious sauce. The Alfredo was excellent. The sausage pasta was also great. I'd definitely go back!

They also make all there pasta you can watch the guys make it fresh. Bruno lemochello homemade a must . They make a special dish pasta in a bowl of cheese light it on fire 🔥. Really a fun place . Was attracted by the live opera singing and outdoor seating vibe. The pasta is not bad it really not good enough with the price. And I’m not happy to find out water cost $8 until I get the check. Overall I feel it’s too pricy for the experience it offer!

The service was great and the men were pleasant. Wine and spinach was great. However, the chicken was tough to chew and cut. We also didn't care for the taste of oil they fried with. It didn't taste like full vegetable oil, maybe some type of soybean cheaper mix. Bruno was very nice and exchanged for different dish, but I don't eat pasta so....

My family and I came to the city for The Feast of San Gennaro. This is our second time dining at La Mela and we were not disappointed. We arrived at a good time because we didn't have to wait a long time for a table. The service was very good. Our server was very attentive and the food was very good!

Went here with my husband for dinner. The restaurant didn’t have a hostess. We had a reservation and was standing around until someone asked us if we needed a table. Restaurant has very large portions that could be shareable… so you definitely get your money worth here. I wish that I knew that because most of my meal was wasted. While eating, our waiter didn’t check to see if there was anything we needed or to make sure our meals were okay. This was a bit odd to me since there is a mandatory 20% gratuity charge. Also, I wish the menu included description of ingredients for each menu item. It would be helpful when deciding what to eat. The waiter did explain what was in the chicken Marsala we ordered. Chicken Marsala was a bit watered down and would better without white mushroom and maybe Bella Mushroom. I’ve had better chicken Marsala other places before. My husband got chicken Parmesan and it was delicious and fresh! I wish that I had gotten his meal. Next time when we are on the city I will get the chicken Parmesan.

I visited La Mela for dinner with friends and was hoping for a great Italian meal, but unfortunately, I wasn't completely satisfied. While the pasta dishes were decent, the sauce was a bit bland and lacked depth. However, the service was good and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming.
