A very old fashioned American steakhouse. You won’t be disappointed but you won’t get super excited either. The main dish, lamb shank and lamp chops, were definitely tasty but the soup and drinks were just okay. Tiramisu was below average.

The quality food was excellent. We had Ribeyes, prime rib, calamari steak and oh yes the Greek lemon soup. Everyone should try the soup. The staff were so incredibly attentive. 5 star service!

It’s so refreshing to see there are still classic restaurants in this part of California offering a unique and high-class experience. A little pricy but worth it. Waitresses are all professional and provide the best service. Definitely try their lamb shank.

Went to this place due to recommendation from coworker, and it was just okay. The atmosphere was good with an oldie type feel but the food, for the price (spent $160 for two people, 1 steak and 1 drink each) was just okay. The steak and scalloped potatoes were lacking flavor, although the cream spinach was good. Atmosphere wasn't help by an obnoxious Celtics fan screaming like a banshee, but I wouldn't hold that against the restaurant. Overall decent place but food didn't live up to the hype. I also don't like that the menu doesn't have prices of their steaks, just states MP for market price. How does every other restaurant do it without issue?

We stopped in for lunch and almost had the place to ourselves. Our server was fast and efficient, friendly and knowledable abput the dishes. The corn chowder was excellent. The house salad was tasty with bleu cheese. The carbonara was made with cream and fresh peas and was great. The atmosphere was classy.

Extensive menu, plenty of options. Tuna melt filling was generous, portions were the same on 2 separate orders on different days. Husband enjoyed his order of pickled pot roast sandwich. Corn bread muffin is something small and sweet instead of getting their big delicious pies or cake.

The best family dinner in the region. Fun bear themed ambientation with bears everywhere, plus attentive service, lots of options, and tasty dishes. The menus are printed as a newspaper, so you can make extra dad jokes. They even have an assortment of souvenirs (all black bears) in case you want to take one home.

Went here for brunch. Ordered their Avocado Toast, Thick-Cut Smoked Bacon, Turkey Club, Cubs Strawberry French Toast and Cubs Chicken Strips. Everything was okay. I was expecting more bacon though. Their fries were good too. Might come back again.

Haven’t been back to dine in since the pandemic started - they’ve made changes to the decor, there’s now open spaces between the bar and dining room which brings a nice lively environment to the dining room. Ordered table side Caesar salad 🥗, I’m a huge fan of dinner and a show items like this, this style of showmanship has been going away over the years in many restaurants and I was glad to see that they were still performing it!! Bananas foster isn’t being offered any longer :( but wouldn’t take away any points on the rating due to this. Had calamari steaks (reminded me of a all time favorite dish of mine scalone steaks (scallops & abalone) with delicious mash potatoes and fresh green beans with carrots & clams and pasta (their were a ton of clams on this dish it was delicious!!) When we were done and got the check, we scanned the QR code on the check and we were able to pay via Apple Pay!! Service was fantastic, Food was delicious, Company amazing!! Went here for dinner on a Friday evening. We had a prior reservation and hence did not have to wait a lot. The place is much bigger from the inside than what seems from the outside and has good separated dining spots for groups. We ordered a couple bottles of Kaiken "Terroir Series" Malbec and started with their Baked Garlic Bread and Fried Zucchini. For our mains, we ordered Fettuccini Carbonara, Crab and Spaghetti, Cedar Planked Salmon, Chicken Breast Marsala and Fettuccine Primavera. Food was delicious and each dish had its own distinct taste. Pastas were good too. Will go here again soon.

3 of us had dinner here and all 3 dishes in addition to my Salad were drenched in sauce and cheese! My Wedge Salad’s lettuce had so much Blue Cheese on it that was dry! I had the burger which was served w Cold fries from a frozen bag! Fries were not from fresh potatoes! Our server was also ill prepared to answer the most basic questions about the menus! He also charged 3 of our credit cards with another Table’s bill and rudely ripped off the paperwork when we asked him to cancel the charges! He should have left the paperwork at the table! We now have to check w the credit card companies to see if the charges were indeed reversed or not! Would not return for the over-priced food and can’t recommend the place for service either!

I came here to have dinner with my wife, it looked empty but they said it will still be a 25-30 minute wait. I’m guessing it’s due to short staffing so we decided to do take out instead. I got the new Lobster & Langostino Flatbread, and Snow crab legs with garlic butter. I have to say it smelt so delicious bringing it home. The flatbread was amazing, full of flavor and a good amount of meat on it. The snow crab legs were very good as well but very messy with the garlic butter on it. I think next time I’d ask for the garlic but to be on the side and I’ll just dip the meat in the sauce, that way it won’t get all over the place. The one thing I’m always excited about is their garlic cheddar biscuits. To me they looked a lot smaller and seems to not be fresh. I feel like the ones you make at home look and taste better than the ones we got from the restaurant. They still good though but I’d rather make them fresh at home.

Our server was Keoki - he was amazing, thanks for being attentive and respectful with the sir’s and ma’ams, defitintly they eat I talk but it seems like a lost art in the BayArea. Also thanks for the solid recommendations. My $5 Watermelon Martini made with Gin was great for the price! and so was the Tito’s strawberry lemonade! Thanks for making our date night more special with the phenomal customer service!

We went here for an early dinner so the restaurant was less than half full, but due to a shortage of staffing we still had to wait 15 minutes to get seated. Our server was very nice and helpful but I assume he just had too many tables because we only saw him when he took our order (about 10 minutes after we sat down) and as we were paying our bill on the tablet. The food itself was spot on. The bar harbor lobster bake was quite pricey at $41 but worth it. Lots of flavor and plenty of succulent seafood, especially the three tasty mini/baby lobsters. The crab linguini was a little bland, but the biscuits are still the best part of the meal.

Had a great time here! Enjoyed the bisque, lobsters cooked in different ways, the salad, and biscuits. While the customer service could be better, we understand the challenge of lack of staff. Hope to drop by again when I'm back in USA. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

Our interactions with the hostess and waitress felt heartfelt and sincere. They lavished my friend and me with personalized care throughout our visit, making us feel truly special. Nestled in a cozy booth, we savored the VIP treatment provided by the devoted Strizzi’s team. It was an experience to cherish. Years ago, a creative staff member used to whip up a unique Garlic Parmesan dip on request. It was a shared delight that left an indelible mark on my friends memories. Fortunately, my friend had the recipe engraved in their mind. We requested the necessary ingredients to recreate this fondly remembered dip – red pepper flakes, Parmesan cheese, and fresh garlic. We complemented these with readily available table condiments like salt, pepper, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. Stirring up this flavorful concoction and dipping our bread in it was a gastronomic adventure. The exquisite garlicky dip had us reaching for more throughout our meal. Strizzi’s, you truly deserve a round of applause! I'm eagerly anticipating the resurrection of your Happy Hour. From what I've heard, it was quite the spectacle!

We are a family that love Italian food. This place is great. Staff is friendly and offer a nice service. Restroom and in general the restaurant is clean. We were there on a weekend and it wasn’t crowded, we got a table immediately. The size of the portions is moderate, don’t expect a super big plate, which is good for me. From the kids menu, is a perfect size, not too small. I recommend the cheesy bread and my favorite entree was the Salmon saute.

My family and I went to Strizzi's for dinner the other night. We were a party of seven. The waitress and over all service was great. However I was not impressed with the pork chops I ordered. The cut was thin and the pork chops were dry. Should I go back I will not order those again. The rest of the family was satisfied with their meal. I did like the bread they put on the table.

The server ignored us after being sat for around 10 minutes. People who came after us were greeted and served before we were acknowledged. The server did eventually come over. The main issue with the food here is that it is severely bland. I mean no flavor. We had to douse our entrees with salt just to get the down. The pesto cheesy bread has no pesto. The calamari was very lightly fried with no seasoning. The sauce it came with was good. The pasta dishes were so disappointing. It was a big let down for our dining experience. This was supposed to be a nice meal celebrating my son starting college on Monday. We were not impressed. Better Italian food for the money can be found at Melos. We won't return.

Really wanted to like this place based on great reviews by my friends but the food here was disappointing and I would not come back again. I’ve had a lot of authentic Thai food places both in the bay/SF and abroad and this place doesn’t do Thai food justice. I asked for recommendations from the waitress who only recommended the fried fish and nothing else. I already planned on ordering the spicy fried fish, and additionally chose to order the duck curry and pad kee mao. Unfortunately the fish was nothing special. It had a nice fry but tasted bland. The sauce was also underwhelming, which was a mixture of some chilis and fish sauce, but really felt like I was dipping a bland fried fish in a sad mixture of sauce. 3/5. Disappointing since this is their most “signature” dish. The pad kee mao was alright, being sweet and spicy but tasted average, slightly above average at most. The meat in the duck curry was overcooked, tasted dry and had a strong unusual taste that made it feel like it was old duck. The flavor of the curry itself was fine but was ruined by the meat quality. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this to friends - the food was not authentic nor memorably good, the prices were not cheap, the service wasn’t great, and I think there’s just many other places to spend money at instead.

We visited this Thai restaurant on a Wednesday night and it was a full hours! But the waitress and kitchen worked very efficiently the entire time during our meal! We ordered 10 dishes amount 8 of us. If you ever coming to have a meal, please don’t miss their crispy garlic fish. We ordered three of those and we ate them all! Their curry was delicious, full of the flavors, not spicy, you can taste the coconut and basil, which is the way my wife and I like it! We will be back for sure. Came here for dinner with two of my friends and we ordered two dishes for us that were sufficient, but we weren't too hungry anyway. Everything was good, no big issues and I wish I could've tried more items on the menu. The fried was a little salty to my liking but I loved the pad see ew. The sauce was sweet and I loved the bounce of the noodles. The waitresses were very nice, asking us if everything was okay and offered to take our order even though you could order online through the QR code and pay through there. So if the "traditional" way is more your style, they still have it. I would come here for lunch with my friends again.

As a vegetarian, I was pleased to discover various options to suit my palate. Kicking off the meal, the Golden Tofu caught my attention. While tofu is still an acquired taste, the standout element was the special peanut sauce that elevated the otherwise mild flavours, adding a delightful twist. The Roti Canai was a culinary delight, boasting a satisfying blend of crispy and chewy textures. The accompanying sauce served as the perfect complement, enhancing the overall flavour profile of the dish. The Thai Iced Tea was visually appealing and offered a refreshing sip, leaving a pleasant aftertaste. On the other hand, Thai Iced Coffee fell short with its bitter notes and unappetizing finish. The Drunken Noodles (PAD KEE MAO) stole the show for the main course. Laden with vibrant veggies and infused with tantalizing Chinese flavours, it presented a harmonious blend that pleased the taste buds. The distinctive spices added depth and character to every bite. Concluding the meal, the Fried Banana with Ice Cream provided a sweet indulgence. The crispy batter-coated banana offered an initial burst of flavour, although it became overwhelming after a few bites. The Sweet Sticky Rice with mango was a satisfying treat, with the fragrant rice perfectly complementing the fruit, though a larger serving of mango would have been preferable. Sala Thai caters to vegetarians with its diverse menu and inviting atmosphere. While some dishes stood out, others had room for improvement. Nonetheless, it is a worthwhile destination for those seeking a taste of Thai cuisine in Fremont.

We went on a Saturday evening before 7:30 pm. The place was crowded. Luckily we got a seat in 5-7 minutes. We ordered within 5 minutes of being seated. The wait for food was long( 25-30 minutes) because of the crowd. We ordered Tom Yum Soup, Pad Kee Mao, Thai Green Curry and Thai iced tea. The portions were less. Taste was good. I liked their Iced Tea.

Market Broiler has always been synonymous with fresh seafood and a delightful dining experience. Returning after roughly 8 years, the ambiance still carried that familiar warmth, but a surprise awaited us on the menu. In the past, their grilled fish options held a prominent place, with a whole page detailing the plethora of choices in a font size that was easy on the eyes. The recent menu changes, however, seemed to have tucked these options away, making them less conspicuous. Such changes can be a double-edged sword; while it's exciting to see innovation and evolution in a restaurant's offerings, there's also the nostalgia for the old favorites and the manner in which they were presented. Yet, it wasn't all about surprises. The quality of food remained impeccable, and the service was as top-notch as I remembered. Our server, Liz, was a true testament to Market Broiler's commitment to excellent customer service. She was attentive, making sure our needs were met promptly, and her warm demeanor made our dining experience even more enjoyable. In summary, while I missed the old menu's extensive grilled fish section, our visit to Market Broiler reaffirmed why it's been a cherished spot for so many years. The food quality and stellar service, epitomized by Liz, remain unmatched.
