My most recent trip to Hemline was during the Magazine Champagne Stroll and even with it being busy the entire staff was so sweet and helpful without being pushy. I found the perfect dress for an upcoming event and while trying it on they helped with zipping and getting a different size, employees here are always so helpful and nice! A few months ago when I was also looking for a specific dress for an event they even helped me with what other store to go to since they didn’t have anything currently that met my need for a formal event- I appreciate they even helped me when I couldn’t buy something from them.

I was visiting New Orleans last weekend and stumbled upon this shop. They have gorgeous dresses and the owner was attentive and helpful offering me heels to try the dress with. This shop also offered to mail me the dress and shoes I purchased as I had no room left in my carry-on. Would definitely shop here when in New Orleans again.

Swoon is my favorite boutique to shop at! Swoon is constantly getting new arrivals in everyday and they have live selling every week to help with sizing, color, and product info. They have the best return policy offering refunds instead of store credit like most boutiques do. If you need to return anything, you can submit a return online and get a prepaid label. The Swoon girls and Alyssa, the owner, is at the store always ready to help style you! They have the best interest at heart when it comes to looking your best! Swoon is so responsive on Instagram, phone calls, emails, etc. I will always shop at Swoon when I know I need an outfit for an event or even need a little shopping day! I would give a 10/10 if I could!

I strongly recommend not buying from this store due to their ridiculous 14 day return policy, and that is from the date that it is mailed and so we all know how long prolong packages can take to be couriered!!! This is just a ‘for profit’ shop and obviously there is almost zero concern about customer satisfaction. If you buy from this store (especially online) you have officially been warned because there is no way to be sure whatever you buy fits and you will have VERY LITTLE TIME to get a refund. It simple is not worth the risk!!!!!

In New Orleans, shopping is part of the local culture and trendy stores are apart of Nola's flare! Swoon is just that. They always have the prefect date night out dress or day to day outfits that transitional from work to night life. The customer service and the girls working there are nothing short of great. I am ALWAYS greeted when I walk in and they are always willing to help me find the perfect outfit but are never too pushy. Id give this place 6 stars if possible. Selection is outstanding and honestly one of the best boutiques New Orleans has to offer. Every time I come in town to visit I stop by and grab a few pieces. The quality is always top notch and the Owner has a great eye. I’ve never had an issue with customer service or redeeming a gift card and don’t expect fawning in a high end shop. They ask if you need help or are looking for anything and depending on the answer will let you browse in peace. The girlies that know, know.

In the three times I have visited Pied Nu, I was always met with the rudest customer service. The shopkeepers are stuck up and cold. The last time I visited the store, one of the ladies at the counter fussed at me for taking a picture of the book wall with the candles/perfume. I had intended to send it to my friend to see if she'd like me to get her a candle and if that was the brand she liked. In response, the lady at the counter said the owner is protective of her store. Okay? Then I just won't buy your stuff. You will receive warmer service at Pilot and Powell, Elle, Hemline, or literally any other store on Magazine.

This is one of the nicest boutiques in New Orleans! The owner has impeccable taste and has curated such a beautiful variety of clothing, jewelry, candles and gifts…. I bought one of my favorite dresses ever in this shop and have receive so many compliments each time I’ve worn it. A must stop shop every time I’m in town!

I purchased an in-season, full-priced dress from Pied Nu, through their online shopping platform called Garmentory. It didn't fit and I was given authorization to return it. Garmentory's return policy states that returns won't be accepted if shipped after seven days of receiving it (Pied Nu's is 14 days for credit only). Unfortunately I was late to ship it by one day and shipped it back on the 8th day. It was shipped right back to me with zero communication from Garmentory or Pied Nu themselves. It felt passive aggressive. Initially, I thought it was a mistake but quickly learned that it was denied when I reached out to CS. Garmentory didn't have any empathy or understanding and offered me a conciliatory $20 back to my account. I decided to reach out to Pied Nu directly to see if I could have an honest and open conversation about a resolution that would make us both feel better about this situation. But I was blatantly cut off by the woman on the phone and was immediately given the "we don't deal with Garmentory orders, you have to work with them directly" bit, and was completely disinterested in hearing a single word I had to say. It felt like the cold shoulder, and something I didn't deserve. I'm taking accountability for my mistake, and accept that I was denied my return. It didn't feel egregious, though, to kindly ask for an exception to be made on a very expensive, full-priced, in-season dress that I was a single day late on shipping back. I wanted to see if they'd work within their return policy and allow me store credit so I could, at the very least, have something I'd wear and enjoy. I wasn't given the opportunity to inquire or share any detail of my purchase with them. I feel like a one star review is warranted, because on a human level this experience made me feel very minimized. Their non-communicative actions felt evasive and really speaks volumes about how much they value customer relationships. Seeing as they were uninterested in hearing from me, maybe they'll see it here. In response to Pied Nu's response to my review: As a retailer who has partnered with platforms like Garmentory in the past, I understand how these transactions work on the back end and all I have left to say is: DO BETTER.

Doesn’t honor gift certificates. If the store would like the gift certificate to be used by a certain date, it should put an expiration date on the gift certificate. (Contrary to what the owner is saying, there was no expiration date on the certificate, and I was never notified of one having won the raffle for the gift certificate. I wouldn’t say it was very “gracious” of the owner to honor only half of the value.)

Such a beautiful place. I was able to get a bunch of clothes for my son, myself and my husband. The selections were fantastic. The owner was there when I went and she was very sweet and helpful. I felt like she appreciated me being there. The prices are just right and she has new arrivals almost daily. I recommend this place to anyone looking for quality pieces at a great price! ( p.s she really should go up on the prices I almost felt like I was stealing because they were so low) I got a pair of jordans for my sons in excellent condition for $12. I will DEFINITELY be returning soon!!!!

I love the modern vintage inspired style dress selection. And if you love fun socks this is your place! Often the French Quarter shops don't seem to turn over merchandise and selection quick enough but that is not the case at Red Lantern. There is always something new and cute! I've also had the privilege of meeting the owner's partner once. He was a friendly sunshine soul with wonderful energy. Which made the shopping experience even better.

Nice dresses but the shoes are not worth it! I paid a lot for a pair of cool high heels and they broke after less than 100 steps. I only wore them to brunch and was walking from brunch to my hotel when stepping up from the road to the sidewalk they snapped at the front! I only weigh 145 and have no problem walking in heels, I didn't pivot or trip the shoes just broke..the wood of the heel was soft and the rubberish part on the bottom stiff so I'm not sure if they sat too long and that's why they broke so easily but definitely would not recommend any of the shoes here..they say all sales are final and I had to fly back home so it was a loss for me but I don't want it to be for anyone else!

Great store. Love the vibe. Lots of cool hats and dresses as well as a great selection of jewelry. Staff was friendly and helpful. Saw a pup there so I'm assuming they're dog friendly as well. Prices were all very reasonable. I would recommend this store to anyone. Only suggestion is more places for guys to sit so they're not rushing their partner out of the store.

Amazing store and great service. Beware of taking your female significant other. Do it at your own risk. You will have to sell your right kidney after she is done shopping since everything is amazingly beautiful and girls seem to loose all sense of how much money they have spent there. Be sure you are also pre approved for a second or third mortgage when you visit. It is a beautiful store that’s filled with beautiful things. I mean thongs. So enjoy. Love shopping there every time I visit New Orleans. And now I am carrying three mortgages 🤣
