Everyone was really nice here. We tried the buffet and it was amazing, definitely has variety, you decide what you want and how you want it and it is freshly cooked🤩 The different available sauces were amazing and the signature drinks as well. Not worth it for money. Very less items compare to other buffet in köln city. No fruits, no desert. (Only few meat, vegetables, and very less fish items) They have bowl systems which I don’t like it at all (personal opinion). Also their service is little bit weird but they are very friendly.

A restaurant that is an experience, the food is delicious and the dynamics of choosing the ingredients that will then be prepared is really cool. Undoubtedly being able to try foods as different as zebra meat and insects is an experience in itself. I highly recommend. The service is also super friendly and fast.

Nice place, with a lot of tables and great design. Unluckily the dinner was not up the standards of the place. We did not take the all you can eat/buffet format, but decided to take the "a la carte" menù. The was was quite nice, chicken was nice, the noodles were good but the taste was normal, nothing incredibile. The main problem was the waiting times: 20 minutes for the entrè arrived in 20 minutes, 50 minutes (calculated from when we ended the entrè)...no excuses offered by the staff. Unfortunate experience.

If you are in for burgers; despite all the reviews, don’t have high expectations. I had the usual, the bun was fresh but the patty and ingredients in it were average burger quality. For the price they ask, it def does not meet the expectations. The location and the atmosphere is lovely. I gave 3 stars because the chips at the side was quite well and a big helping.

Fantastic river on the slightly less busy side of the Rhine. Sticky Fingers is self service, you collect when the buzzer goes off. Good range of "sticky" dishes!

Simple yet tasty food and a great selection of drinks. Well-air-conditioned building and a large terrace with the iconic Cologne Cathedral view. Beware of enormous portions — they are really huge!

Eau de Cologne is one of, if not THE most underrated restaurant in the Cologne metropolitan region. For all those expecting just another swimming pool snack bar, be aware … what you’re offered here can well be considered as haute cuisine – apart from the prices that are very reasonable at most, and many dishes are veritable bargains given the quality offered. The cuisine is versatile, ranging from traditional hearty “kölsch” to Italian as well as Fine French. Despite being located near an expressway, the location is calm and cosy. The waiters are always very attentive and friendly. My family has dined at this place for more than ten years, and the quality has always been consistently high, even with varying chefs, and the value for money is just incredible. The Argentinean rump steak in the photo with homemade herb and garlic butter and relish was for about €18,-.

Best food and service we got in Köln and every restaurant was good. The food was top class as was the service. Salt and pepper on the table but not needed on anything, perfectly seasoned. Everything was so fresh and a great selection on the menu. The service was warm, friendly and highly professional. The decor was excellent and overall vib was relaxed for the customer. Toilets were immaculate Definitely recommend as a must if visiting the city

Very positive experience at this place where we went with a visiting couple. Already when booking a table a day before we k BN priced the warm and friendly attitude from the staff. For dinner we had few oysters (special offer of the day- delicious and very well presented), a perfectly grilled Loup de Mer, fish soup ( which was okay-ish but not better), calv liver and a very nice bottle of Sancerre. A great start of the evening 😁

I had the lamb skewers and my husband enjoyed the grilled octopus. Both meals were superb! The proteins were expertly cooked and the accompanying salads were fresh and tasty . The thyme potatoes complimented the other dishes to a T. The service was impeccable!! I highly recommend this restaurant!

We came here for an evening meal on a not too busy weekday. There is seating inside and outside. The service was very efficient and the waiting staff were attentive, friendly and spoke very good english. Our food was quick to arrive, came with generous portions and was delicious! I highly recommend trying one of the schnitzels. Food is modestly priced, for two of us having a starter, drinks and mains came out to around €40. The toilet facilities were immaculate, very clean and spacious. If you find yourself in cologne looking for some good German food, this is a great place to stop by.

Very nice restaurant with mainly greek food. They have german food as well, but on top of that the most important thing is that the food is really good. Very tasty, well cooked and with an enough amount. We got dinner outside as the inside is very small and they got no space. Inside looked nicer than outside because you’re on a street where cars are passing by, but it was still ok. Pricewise correct.

Very small place, they have nice amount options in the menu and the meal is good. Prices are fair, but service needs to be improved, I have waited a long time to be seated, even though it was empty and the waiter had seen me.

nice italian restaurant with outdoor seating not so far from the dom old center. service was fast and friendly, with english speaking staff. penne arrabiata was nice and al dente. just spicy enough. minestrone had a good mix of vegetables that still had texture and weren't overboiled and mushy. they serve pre-grated parmesan. with your meal. would have been nice with olive oil and some bread though.

Extremely delicious food, great and friendly staff, and a great atmosphere. The restaurant is a smaller cozy place with both indoor and outdoor options. Our group had a variety of the pizza options and it was very satisfying and tasty, especially when adding the buffalo mozzarella. Others in our group had the pasta carbonara, and that was equally as tasty. The bacon was the right amount of crunchy, while the pasta was perfectly cooked with the right amount of sauce to get the flavor and be creamy. We also had the tiramisu and tortufo classico and both of them were the right sized portion to have a nice sweet desert after dinner. The flavor of the desert is the cherry on top of an excellent meal. Would absolutely come back again.

Seems like a great place, yet a few things were 'off'. We waited quite some time before being seated. Not clear if that's how this restaurant works (didn't feel like free seating). Dishes were nice, yet a long & curly black hair in our daughter's salad ruined it for her. So can't really recommend this place... We have experienced much nicer in-museum eateries.

Was looking for a museum visit with a spot of breakfast before. Thursday around 11am. Breakfast, or perhaps better to call it brunch, at the museum Ludwig. Got seated quickly and the food came quickly. Waiter was pleasant. The food was quite good and plentiful. Prices varied from about 7€ to 20€ for breakfast. Coffee cost 3.40€ and hot chocolate was 4.70€. Compared to other places around, similar pricing. Enjoyed my food. A bit too full. Can walk it off in the museum now. Recommend the cafe wholeheartedly.

most likely the most tasteful meals you've ever had. Ludwig is proud on its unique, very bio organic ingredients, and they should: you can really taste the difference. Their chef is amazing. Despite their outstanding quality (i dare say the best in a 300 km radius) the prices are really fair, and there's always plenty space, even during busy events like GamesCom. Staff is friendly and very helpful.

Really poor and sad breakfast. One piece of cheap cheese, sausage and paté and hard bread that was absolutely not fresh. Got pasta there which tasted good but these scums are charging extra 2 eur for Parmesan! Also the place is very understaffed, you can see how much stress waiters have. These people are just making money out of the tourists in the popular location. Not recommended.
