Nice place. We were sitting outside and our server was nice. The food was delicious. My friend and I ordered the same pizza but in different styles :) She ordered a deep dish and I got a regular style pizza. We got a White Truffle Pizza, it was amazing. It tasted great. I will come back for more.

Great place to grab a dinner! Their beer selection is good, the dinners are tasty, atmosphere relaxed, service is great, prices reasonable, and the banana bread pudding is really good! Definitely a 10/10 would recommend place to go!

Great spot! Delicious food and fast service. Only 1 complaint is that all online orders have a $2 service fee applied, but who doesn’t these days. Their brunch is one of my favorites in the area. Their chicken strips are excellent appetizer and their pizzas are amazing.

Visited in June of 2019. I'm migrating all my reviews to Google Reviews from multiple platforms, so this review is from another platform. This place was great! My friend and I shared the Mac & Cheese with added short rib, and curly fries. The mac & cheese was very good. High quality shells with a liquidey cheese that definitely had some good flavor profiles. There was plenty of short rib added, and the side order of fries was plentiful. The fries also had an excellent light crisp, and came out hot at the same time as the mac&cheese. We sat at a booth near the patio, which was open-air but inside the restaurant. Aside from the food, the service was good and quick, with well trained capable waitstaff. The lighting further in was a little dim, and the music was maybe a little louder than ideal but by no means too loud. Finally, the prices were fair and reasonable for the area albeit a tiny bit high for my preference. The quality of the food definitely made up for that, however. I will be returning, and I think my 5 star experience from today will definitely recur.

Tl;DR good, worth it, especially before a show, but something missing from that NOLA touch. I love Southern food. I have eaten extensively in New Orleans many times, at many different restaurants. This was some of the best I have found in New England, but if you are truly looking for New Orleans food, you might be a little underwhelmed. Everything was almost right, but missing a little heat and spice. They do provide hot sauce. I will say, the service was less than adequate. I saw server interacting with other tables, so I dont know what it was about me, but they were just not interested. Very little attention or follow up. Overall, I would recommend but with a grain of salt. Food is good, but New Englad good, service is fine.

This place is great. The atmosphere is nice. They have real New Orleans food, and it tastes great. I ordered Creole Jambalaya(GF) and it was good. It was spicy but good. The size of the portion is so big that you can share it with another person easily. My friends and I were sitting at the bar and the barman was nice, he took care of everyone at the bar. The cocktails were tasty like in New Orleans.

Overall 4 stars- the staff and the atmosphere was fantastic but the food was just okay. The drinks were good but my food was just okay. My partner got the gumbo and that was good but the burger and the fried oyster po’boy was just alright. We also got an order of the beignets- they were good but a little too doughy for my taste. I think it’s a cute place to go for the atmosphere and the wait staff was wonderful.

It was one of the first places I tried on my Boston trip. I’m from Louisiana and I must say it was a great experience. The food was the right kinda Louisiana spice and the server Matthew was the best. He made me feel welcomed. I would definitely come back.

I'm not sure if it was the chef that day or what? The presentation was nice, the food I had was mediocre at best the jambalaya I had was too wet too tangy. It did not taste like it was cooked in shrimp stock. Not a good consistency. Not enough salt. The spices and flavors were not quite there. Red beans and rice had little to no smoke flavor to them. It didn't taste authentic at all. I could barely taste the bell peppers, the onions, etc definitely overpriced (in the sense of not being worth the money)

The bruschetta may have been the most underwhelming dish I've ever ordered. Two cold pieces of bread with some mozzarella on top. I was astounded that it cost $14. 1/3 people at our table didn't even get to experience the joy of eating it since it only served 2 pieces. I was still wicked hungry after and wanted a burger, but after spending $14 on that lame bread and another $14 on a drink that tasted like a bunch of random bar ingredients mixed together I didn't really feel like spending another $20 for a beef patty between two slices of english muffin. I feel like the owners here either have a really low opinion of their customers, or target rich people with no taste. If you're going to have a one page menu, every option should be fantastic. The service was decent and that's probably the only reason I'd come back.

We went to go get drinks on the rooftop deck and had issues with a large group also up there. There were two guys ordering drinks so we got behind them in line to order, and all of a sudden their whole group just kept squeezing in front of us and ordering more and more. They had no regard for personal space, were drunk and obnoxious, and continuously tried to "push" us out of the way. The bartender saw all of this happening and ignored it completely. We were left to just wait patiently and take all of this behavior towards us because we didn't want to start anything, but it was very upsetting and ruined our visit there. We probably will never go back because this is how we associate the restaurant now.

Go for: You live in or are visiting East Boston, and want a safe choice for American fare and a pint. Avoid if: You don't like talking over blaring loud music. Something surprising: There is a rooftop patio available, and it's really not advertised nor well-labeled. Reservation needed? No, or rarely Overall Experience: 3/5. The food is quite good, but the drinks are overpriced and the service staff is consistently "distant." There's always a vibe like your presence is a very minor inconvenience that is tolerated. We came here because it was in walking distance of Downeast. We were not disappointed. Atmosphere was very hip, groovy for a Friday night. Service was fast. Food was veryyyy tasty. I wish the portions for appetizers were more clear. We got mushroom ravioli (not pictured) which only came with 2. But the hummus (pictured) was HUGE! You might want to ask first 🤷🏼♀️ Overall, we were so happy with this spot

Return visit for late afternoon dining, and it didn't disappoint. Friendly staff, casual atmosphere, excellent food. Tried the Brussel salad with shrimp and for an appetizer, the tricolor hummus, delicious.

I can only speak to the pizzas- they're great!! Not a huge selection, but I'd argue that's positive. Truly enjoyed the atmosphere, with the outdoor/indoor seating options. The open air of the indoor seating was bonus. Good local beer selection as well. Give it a shot!

Stopped here on a historical pub crawl. Beer selection is great lots of seating and I enjoyed how the front windows open for an much better atmosphere. Perfect spot to eat lunch or dinner and people watch walking union street. Price is compactor the area.

The atmosphere was wonderful open air, was busy, but still found a spot on the first floor bar. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The place smells amazing, too! The food was delicious, some of the best clam chowder I've ever had. The white bull lobster roll was amazing, too. didn't know what to expect with avocado aoili and bacon on a lobster roll but it was delicious! The watermelon mojito and watermelon margarita was phenomenal. If I find myself in Boston again I will be back!

Pretty good lobster options! Slightly overpriced as other places offered more lobster of higher quality for same price or less. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Nice interior decor.

Even the rain did not dampen the experience we had at Toro! Exceptional service was still regardless of the skies opening up, the dedicated staff did not skip a bit. The food? Fresh and flavorful is an understatement (only due to my limited vocabulary). I mean Phoebe, Bonnie, the back end runners bringing the food did were impeccable with their delivery. Our guest we hosted declared Fridays as “Toro Fridays”. Thank you for such a joyful and unpretentious joint! Clearly THE food is your focus.

The food is SUPER delicious! !! If you also love Spanish flavours, this is something that you couldn’t miss! And the service is SUPER good!! The server is SUPER friendly and energetic. They initiatively offer something that can make your experience better. They check if you need anything all the time. There is always people helping even they are full house! The only drawback is that they are toooooo popular for a reason and make a reservation at least two weeks in advance to secure your place.

Fantastic place for tapas. Great service and ambiance. The portions for the tapas are a little smaller than expected and pricey are the main things I can dock this restaurant for. The charcuterie board, bacalao, beef cheeks, and anchovies were great. Don’t forget the paella.

Great food and service. Were able to cater to shrimp allergies with the paella (not too many restaurants do that, so it is appreciated!) Service was great. Everyone was very attentive and checked on us frequently. Water was refilled very quickly. Minus one star as it was a loud atmosphere but not a bad thing. Depends on the person.

If you're looking for incredible tapas, look no further! Toro offers a great selection of dishes. Each item we ordered was well seasoned, beautifully presented and delicious. We also ordered the paella to and would strongly recommend it- it might have been our favorite dish of the night!

Was really nice. The bowling lanes were black lightning and there’s not too many lanes so a reservation might be required but the night we went we called ahead and they said it wasn’t busy so we had drinks and our dinner while we bowled. Was great. Waitress’s. We’re great for us. Kids had fun. Adults had fun. Was all around a. Good time. Recommend visiting

A fun spot to play some pool, arcade games or bowling. Went on a Saturday night and there were lots of empty glasses and everything was not picked up properly. Nice for a group activity but I would not go often

So my brother and myself came vacationing in Boston for memorial weekend and happened on Kings as we were just wandering around and the photos of the food and entertainment looked halfway decent. I will tell you I was very happily surprised how good it was. Food was excellent, chicken sandwich and breakfast burger, which bias be acknowledged were suggested as the best dishes, but still, very happily surprised with just how good they were. Arcade, bowling alley, and pool hall were small but that was very nice, because it was relaxed, I say that as someone who prefers to avoid crowds. Staff were extremely nice to talk to, and had a very good time overall

We played the air hockey table and the basketball machine. It was so fun. We had 4-5 people played like 1-2 hours and it costs only 15$ in total. It is a good price, even though there are some of them do not work properly. But it was a good experience in general so put 5 🌟

Came for brunch today, Easter Sunday, with my family. We had a lovely time and an awesome waitress and manager who attended to our needs and questions with the brunch list. Would highly recommend this place located across the Wang Theatre theatre district.

Good food but incredibly loud in the evening. Not a good place if you want to have a conversation. The menu selection is very bar food which is expected. The drink menu looks good but everything was incredibly watered down and not worth the price. The only thing we were able to really drink that wasn't watered down was beer. At around 9:45 on Friday they moved all the tables out of the way for live music and the band was very talented but it got so loud and full of college kids that our group had to leave. If I were in my early 20s, this place would have been great (minus the watery drinks), but nowadays, it's just too loud and not worth the money. Good location across from the Boch Center.

I really enjoyed Nash, there was a gentleman singing and playing guitar who was very talented and entertaining. Drinks were reasonably priced (for Boston, that is) and my favorite part was that my drink came with a temporary tattoo! Super cute, can’t wait to come back.

Nice place, fair prices. Everything from food menu is pretty good. Would recommend chicken and waffles if you are really hungry or swordfish steak if you're trying to watch your weight :)). Wouldn't recommend chicken wings, though, especially if you're not alone. Not of the way they taste, but because of the way they serve them - 4 whole jumbo size wings even with fingers. It's a real trick to eat them in a civilized manner 😀

I went to this bar and ordered drinks with a friend. My friend paid for our drinks and when I got mine the bartender chased me and yelled at me saying I needed to pay for it. Due to his lack of understanding I just gave him my card. I did not appreciate the service and upon departure I left no tip on my card. A worker decided to take a $5 tip without my authorization. This bar has stolen from me. I will be disputing this charge with my bank. I do not recommend this bar.
