We went for brunch with some friends, and it was overall a great spot! I loved the food (brunch menu was just what I was looking for), but the service was just okay (very pleasant, but felt very scattered and we had to ask for several different things a few times throughout our meal, sometimes more than once). Maybe it was just an off day, so I'd love to go back. I'd say based on this one experience, it was a 4.25/4.5. We had the fresh fruit with ricotta, and avocado toast. They were able to add smoked salmon to the toast even though it wasn't on the menu, which we appreciated. The live music was a nice touch! The outdoor seating looked lovely on a nice spring day. Overall I'd definitely recommend this as a nice brunch spot in West Hartford.

The chef is French. I am in heaven . We sat on the patio and had one of the best meals I have ever had. The port wine poached pear salad was beyond amazing as was my husband's chicory salad. His rabbit entree was tender and delicious ,my butternut sqash au riz was so good I finished the large portion. Word of warning...if you want dessert...and you will...get the smaller portion. It was very filling...I have a huge happy food baby

Not recommending Artisan. We came here for Sunday brunch. First, the portions are very small. Second, we waited 45 minutes to have our meals. Third, they served a burnt steak. Never will come again. The only good part was the atmosphere.

Artisan was disappointing from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. If you enter the hotel there are no clear signs pointing you toward the restaurant from the main lobby. Once you manage to find it through something like a back hallway, there is no one there to greet you when you enter the restaurant. Instead, the hostess is just randomly in the middle of the dining area. It makes no sense. After you are seated, the waiting begins. We were at Artisan for an hour and a half for a simple lunch because our waiter didn't seem to care in the least about us. We had to keep asking other staff members for help. The food took forever to come out as well - maybe 30 minutes after ordering. We just had a shrimp salad and the fish and chips, so it shouldn't have taken so long. Both dishes were shockingly bland. Dumping some Himalayan sea salt on fried fish doesn't make up for a complete lack of seasoning. I ordered the peach cobbler for dessert and that took forever to arrive as well. It was visibly burnt and tasted awful. It never should have left the kitchen.

Treva was on of the best dining experiences we have had in a very long time. Everything from the food to service was top notch. The cocktail program was diverse while offering lots of classic Italian options. The food stuck to Italian roots and what perfectly executed. We will definitely be returning. Our waiter, Khalid was amazing.

We came here to celebrate a birthday and sat outside on the back patio! The food was delicious, though we did experience a slight hiccup with the way a steak was cooked. Our waitress was awesome and had the food sent back and remade right away! Loved it!

I had lunch at Treva in West Hartford, CT! We kicked things off with the sautéed calamari appetizer, and it was really excellent - tender calamari, and the sauce? So good for a midday treat! Then, we dug into the fresh orecchiette pasta, and it was a real winner for lunch. Perfectly cooked pasta with a rich, savory sauce that left us wanting more. We also ordered the meat and cheese option (4) but I gotta admit, I could've gone for a little extra cheese to fuel my afternoon. Our server was super attentive and full of great recommendations for a lunchtime pick-me-up. They made the whole dining experience top-notch. All in all, Treva in West Hartford was a fantastic lunch spot.

Lunch today was amazing. We started with the Brussels sprouts - A+. I had the really fresh arugula salad with grilled chicken to perfection - their lemon vinaigrette was so light and flavorful. My husband had the sausage gnocchi which was superb and both dishes were so plentiful we brought half home. Service was perfect (as always) and next time we have to try some of those Italian meats…

Went here for our anniversary and it was great. The food was very good and the drinks were great as well. I think the entrees needed a little more salt but that was all. Treva has a very fun and social atmosphere.

Beautiful place. Loved the interior! Had happy hour with coworkers. Food was delicious. Waiters were okay, not really inviting or friendly. Took almost 45 min for our waitress to come and check on us, wanted more drinks for the table. Most of the waiters were just standing near there computers talking. Felt like they were waiting for Happy Hour to be over to give us more drink. When we did get our second round of drinks the waitress spilled one of the drinks on my coworker, brought a new one which should’ve been covered by the restaurant. This place has potential but the service should improve.

A Friday night in West Hartford center is always going to be busy. Division West was packed when we arrived for a surprise birthday party at 7:00 PM. Start time was pushed up to 7:30 but we still wanted to arrive early to check out the place. Reception told us they were still setting up our table for twelve. When they were ready, they brought us to a long table in front of the open kitchen window. After all the guests arrived, we noticed along with staff that two seats were missing for the honoree and his partner. They set up a new table in the same rear dining room that could accommodate us all. Our friend was completely surprised, which is the goal of all parties of this nature, and everyone sat down to a fine dinner for two hours. Menu choices varied from some friends choosing the prix fixe menu @ $45. pp and others deciding to order from the regular menu. Everything was good overall. For me, as the reviewer, I think mine was the least favorable in that my chicken dish was dry and overcooked, but out of twelve dinners one so-so entree is a fine percentage. Stand out meals were the lobster bisque and filet mignon ($8.00 surcharge) off of the prix fixe menu, the paella and the homemade fresh ricotta appetizer with accompanying grilled crostini both off of the main menu. The ricotta is blue ribbon quality paired perfectly with honey, fig jam, sea salt and extra virgin olive oil. No one ordered dessert since there was a birthday cake waiting for guests at home.

We had quite a lovely meal and there was a mishap with one of our entrees and we were all offered dessert. We had the burger, the salmon and my wife ended up with the gnocchi in a tomato sauce without oil. Everyone really enjoyed the meal. The salmon was my dish and it comes with a truffle risotto. I mean my only complaint is that I wanted more of that. Such deep flavors and the salmon was cooked to perfection. Really a nice experience and we'll be back. Check out our pics

This was a wonderful experience! I ordered the squid ink pasta which was fantastic, the person I was with ordered the gnocchi, which was good but felt as if it wasn't worth the price. We also got the buratta salad which was absolutely amazing, and I recommend you get it no matter what else you order. Our server was fantastic and very attentive. The hosts were also amazing. Their specialty cocktails were very interesting, I got the Pirates Booty.

I came here with my Wife for dinner. Place was busy and there was a lot of going on inside so we sat down outside. We both ordered N.Y. Sirloin that were cooked and seasoned to perfection. Good size cut of meat for the price. Sides were delicious and plentiful. Bread prior to meals was delicious. Service was on point. Definitely recommend 👌

I took my friend here for her 40th birthday, and it was absolutely delicious! Impeccable service as well. We tried the lump crab and ricotta ravioli appetizer- incredible lemon butter, penne vodka style pasta dish- the waiter suggested she swap out for different noodles and my friend was quite happy with that rec. I was torn between two pizzas (Bianco and potato) and they happily offered to make it half and half!! Both very Delicious. I was blown away by how attentive, helpful and pleasant our male server, who was also the bartender, was.

First time visiting. Chose Bricco because it was 15 minutes from the Cathedral of St Joseph and were looking for Italian cuisine. We were Pleasently surprised, and our friends said it was a great find. Chef creates Complimentary flavors with unusual combinations. All our guests relaxed and fully enjoyed every bite. Menus are printed every day upon chefs choice. Waitstaff are sweet and helpful. Fun to laugh with and personable. We will return.

MAKE A RESERVATION BEFORE YOU GO!!! Visiting West Hartford for job purposes from N.C. these past two weeks. Heard The Restaurant Bricco was very good. We arrived just before 6 pm on Monday night with no reservation. It was quite busy. The host told us 15 to 20 minutes to be seated inside. Sounds great and put our names down. People kept coming in after us, some with reservations, most without reservations. However, they were all seated before us in the dining area, which we were waiting for also. The host was not updating us and really tried not to make eye contact. It was quite strange. We were finally seated AFTER AN HOUR, and the manager came to apologize for our wait. But there was no offer of free appitizer or dessert for the extended wait time we had for what seemed like no real reason. I felt as if the locals were a priority to be seated, and the folks from out of town with the accents would just have to wait. It was very disheartening. Although the food was really great, I was still upset.😡 MAKE A RESERVATION BEFORE YOU GO!!!

Came for a company vendor dinner. Started off with the seafood tower, which was amazing. Lobster was great. The crab was out of this world. Crab cakes were very good as well. They did a tomahawk steak and lobster combo for dinner. Asked rare, and it came out perfect. I'm very impressed and will definitely be back.

I went here expecting the best, and that's exactly what I got! Their service is unmatched, a totally wonderful experience!! I felt like family, my satisfaction was their goal. The 14oz certified Angus Ribeye cooked medium was perfect!, flawless. Crunchy spiced outside, smooth, medium cooked, like a hot knife cutting butter. I got A-1 steak sauce and their 3 butter dipping sauces, I was in heaven!! Perfect X,s 10! The cesar salad was very tasty with a balsamic sprinkling and perfect parmesan shaving. The side of Sriracha balsamic Broccoli was fantastic. Go here if you're looking for heavenly.

Wow! This place was absolutely amazing! I surprised my boyfriend for his birthday it was both our first time coming here and experiencing the amazing service! We were greeted kindly at the front desk by a young man and woman who were very friendly. Followed by Stephanie in training and Tony as our servers that made sure everything was perfect for my boyfriend and I. They were kind, friendly, accommodating.They were on top of everything and it was honestly the best service we’ve ever received!! Nesha and Sebbie were helpful as well throughout service and clearing out our dishes, I accidentally dropped my fork and was given and extra right away. They packaged our food for us. Everything was OUT OF THIS WORLD the food was amazing! From the Cesar salad with with crispy prosciutto, to the hot bread, the amazing steaks, the sides, the dessert. Let me tell you that dessert was the best in my entire life it was the best I’ve ever had. The flavor was just delicious I actually cried a little!! Guillaume the new manager was so friendly, kind, and interacted with us a few times throughout service. Everything was on point I would definitely recommend this place to anybody and everybody even if you just come once. But I bet you you’ll want to come back! We will definitely be reoccurring customers! I hope you have the same great experience! It was also so sweet they gave my boyfriend a birthday card and a box of chocolates. A great dinning experience ! We started with calamari and lobster bisque both excellent. The calamari sweet chili sauce was tasty. For entrees we order scallops and fillet. The scallops were cooked to perfection. Our sides were creamed corn, which again was delicious. The only disappointment was the chipotle Mac and cheese it was a bit hard not very creamy and little too spicy more than I was expecting. But our chocolate gooey butter cake (more like a brownie) was by far the best thing we ordered. The cake had a light crunch from brittle on the top with soft gooey center SO so good. We had Great service. Be aware this dining experience will cost easily over $100 plus per person. I do think the price point is a bit much and prefer high end restaurants that are not strictly a la carte menu style like J Gilbert’s in Glastonbury for repeat visits.

We wanted to celebrate Bastille Day in a special way and Avert was highly recommended by a friend. Turns out that it was the perfect place to enjoy an afternoon of flavorful French inspired cuisine and imaginative cocktails. Avert allows you to take an impromptu trip to Paris without the headaches involved in traditional travel. It is casually refined yet unpretentious and the atmosphere is truly mellow. The restaurant’s decor is quite appealing and we enjoyed the colorful poster artwork lining the walls. There are many seating options including both low and high top tables, booths, and extensive seating at the glitzy bar. The music played at Avert actually enhances the overall dining experience rather than just being intrusive background noise that can be found at many other area restaurants. Basically, this little French gem has put all of the pieces of the puzzle together perfectly with top notch food, drinks, service, decor, and music. We will definitely go back.

Sunday Brunch experience was good. Bloody Mary & French 75 cocktail were both made well. Escargot app and fresh croissant was delicious! We ordered the crème brûlée French toast, which was decent could have been better if the sauce on top was bit more flavorful. Steak & eggs left more to be deserved. Steak was cooked well done when it was suppose to be medium not much could recover after that. Still after trying plenty of brunch menus this place is worth a try for different experience & introductory to new flavors.

Everything was wonderful during our lunch here. Really appreciated the escargot being served in the traditional shells. The croquettes with ham, Dijon crema and topped with parmesan were light, golden brown and made with skill. Their house burger with melted gruyere, caramelized onions and truffle on a toasted brioche bun blew us away when it came to the table. This is the burger of all burgers. Impressive in size, only expect to finish this unless you are truly famished, despite the magnificent blend of flavors. The steak tartare that comes with a long half of a grilled French baguette is good, but I do prefer the one served in Simsbury you can see in my photos. There was no egg yolk with this interpretation, and it's a classic component of this recipe. In Paris when I would order this, everything except the beef was brought in individual ramekins for diners to choose what they wanted to include or omit. Perhaps Avert's Chef can consider putting a yolk on the side for patrons who want to add this to their tartare. I still appreciate any restaurant that serves this old school upscale dish. It's hard to find a true French restaurant today. Very happy to find this one and look forward to returning to indulge in other delectable fare and to give finishing that burger a try myself! Bottles of wine were half price when we were there on a Tuesday. The environment is very French, with its wall art, bistro chairs, music, etc. Bien sur! Hours: Open seven days a week. This charming place had top flight food worthy of my dining experiences in New York and Paris. Duck, seafood, beef, it didn't matter what we ordered. The meals were played beautifully and the food was delicious! The service was excellent! Our server, Cindy, was personable, polite, engaging but non-intrusive. A delicate balance to maintain. I had such an amazing meal with my good friend in this warm, inviting, relaxed environment. Our server, Michael F., was so attentive and accommodating to us, we felt like we were special guests in his home! For our appetizer, we had lobster toast, and our main course was a teriyaki salmon, bok choi, and edamame meal that was bursting with umami. We were so satisfied with those dishes that we could have quit there, but we couldn't resist the warm apple crisp ala mode. Their wine list was impressive, but I was very happy with their Italian lavender-infused seltzer.

Finally got a reservation here! It’s a Mediterranean fusion spot. Dishes I tried - - mushroom truffle pizza - Mediterranean platter - tiramisu - Korean bang cauliflower All the veggie dishes I tried were incredible and delicious. Flavorful food , kinda pricey but worth it!

If you want amazing Mediterranean food and drinks, this is the place for you. For a small restaurant they have a big menu. We enjoyed the kale and Brussel sprouts salad, fried Brussel sprouts, and ravioli with duck confit. I recommend the white sangria and my friend ordered an espresso martini which she loved.

I heard about this fine establishment from one of my girlfriends and decided to come here on my Birthday. When we arrived, we had to wait 23 minutes for anyone to come to the front and sit us down. Unbelievable. Once we ordered our food we had to wait almost one hour for our food to arrive and it did not even seem particularly busy. The food was subpar besides my chicken being undercooked, dry, and tasteless... The service here was terrible and the owner of the restaurant had a clear attitude. I was extremely disappointed especially going there on my birthday with my family expecting to have a delightful night. Would never go here again and don’t recommend it to anyone, would give 0 stars if I could!

I am writing this review because the owner is a blatant liar. Me and my friend were there for our friend who was going on a date with a guy she just met. We were sitting on the outside tables that were occupied by no one. We did not disturb anyone and only sat there for about 10 minutes. The owner then comes running outside screaming at us to leave. She treated us with total disrespect for absolutely no reason and threatened to call the cops for simply sitting at a table. I happened to look in the restaurant and noticed everyone was white. we are black and I can't help to think that that's the only reason they didn't even want us to sit at the outside tables. Her reaction was totally uncalled for and straight-out racist. but seeing other reviews on how she treats customers, I'm not surprised.
