Very tasy and real value for money! My friend and I ordered spareribs and seabass which were absolutely delicious 🤌🏼 the neighbourhoos is super cosy 💜 The sweet potato fries were not a success but they were kind and helpful to remove it from the bill. I will be back for sure when summer comes :)

We had to ask twice to have our tables cleaned from ashes. Had to ask twice for nuts, which were paying anyways (we got half a cup for free, thanks). We couldn’t use the toilet when leaving at closure because they already cleaned it up (oops, maybe call “last round of toilet”?). Service was each time weird, like “I’m bored of taking an order from you”. Well, that brings us to this rate. Hoping for better service if we ever come back again (we live close by).

Has a nice terrace with good atmosphere in a vibey street. I had the truffle risotto and enjoyed every bite. Service is good. Overall a nice place to be.

We had an amazing evening at Ethica, from the amouse-gueule to the main dish, to the dessert and the little treats served with coffee. You can truly taste the quality, love and creativity in every bite. We also really appreciated the service - very friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back and would recommend 1000 times :)

A big thank you to the hosts! I've had a wonderful evening. The starters, the menu, the restaurant's own black ale, the hosts! This place is definitely on my list when I'll return to Hague. The main theme here is sustainability, a very sympathetic assumption. It's visible in the interior design , and surely in the menu. The olives from their own trees were wonderfully rich in taste, even though as big as a pea. All the starters were great. The codfish main dish had a perfectly cooked piece of fish, but the veggies underneath had a bit too much of a tang. The wines served with every dish were great! After the very tasteful main dish the paté of wild bore was a bit bland in taste. All in all we had a very good dinner, with prices overall a bit too high for the menu served.

It remains one of our favorite restaurants. You always have the option to get 3 or 4 courses with two options per course. The entire meal is meant to be a composition where the flavors of each course fit together. This time we had fancy spin-offs of traditional Northern European cuisine, e.g. different roasted vegetables, wild meats and locally purchased goat's cheeses. Note: Not glutton friendly. You don't really go to this place to stuff yourself, but to enjoy the flavors of the dishes 😋

This is one of my favorite restaurants in The Hague, if not my favorite. All the dishes are balanced and the portions are not too stingy. The staff is also great at recommending good wine pairings and the ambiance is great year-round. We’ve had a cozy dinner inside, but we’ve also enjoyed sitting in the sun right by the channel. I really like how the chef doesn’t try to be fussy by adding too many elements or ingredients to the plate. Everything is restrained. In my opinion the thing that makes this place really unique is that the chef pays attention to texture when composing dishes. Every dish has contrasting textures (crunchy, smooth, etc.) and elements that elevate the eating experience. I was impressed with how this was carried through throughout several courses. There are very few places in The Hague that play attention to this. Order a-la-carte, go for a set menu, it doesn’t matter! It’s all great.

No wonder this restaurant is listed in bib gourmand Michelin guide. The food is delicious, sustainably sourced and beautifully presented. We ordered warm, soft flatbread that beautifully soaked-in the olive oil. Terrine was savoury and paired so well with their prune sauce. My favourite would be the ex-dairy cow, with celeriac, girolles and onion. It was really tender, had different textures on the plate and packed a lot of flavour. Pommes Darphin as a side is highly recommended! Service was impeccable and they have lovely terrace seating which extends to the canal bank. Overall, we had a wonderful dinner.

One of the best meals we've had for a long time, food was incredible. We didn't have a booking (on a Saturday night) but after a little bit of faffing the staff found us somewhere and service after that was great. We shared four small plates between three, had a main each and shared one dessert - everything (including cocktails and a bottle of wine) set us back €215. For the quality of the food and drink we were really happy with that. Lovely setting along the canal and a great sustainable approach to their menu.

A nice culinary experience amidst the burgers and fries. It's recommended by Michelin and I guess the restaurant deserves it. Food portions are quite small for the price - it's more like a tasting menu. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Overall enjoyed it!

Honestly we left with a bit of mixed feelings, lovely food and good service, however working with 2 hours slots feels a bit hasty, and where we sat was not comfortable and was a lot of wind, each time the door opened and closed. For this price range I would expect more comfort.

The waiter was friendly and very knowledgeable. He perfectly paired each wine with each coarse. The chef prepared very interesting and delicious combinations for each course. If you are in Den Haag this is a must visit restaurant.

Unfortunately we had a disappointing experience. The service was good and we ordered 5 courses with 5 wine pairings, however we only received 4 actual courses of food and 4 glasses of wine, because one course & pairing was a very small glass of sorbet and bubbles, which was absolutely unacceptable to be called a “course” or a “wine pairing”, and ridiculous to call that both. The wine pairings we did get were very small, if you’re paying €7 per pairing, you expect more than half a glass of wine. The jazz was nice but the band showed up when most people were halfway done with dinner, which was odd timing. On the whole, it was in our opinion considerably over-priced and not the dining experience it pretends to be. I would not recommend it. We did contact the restaurant about this and besides refunding two glasses of wine pairings, the issues were basically not responded to.

We had made reservations at 7:30pm. From the start the staff was professional and friendly. There was a great atmosphere. A handful of variations on the menu. We went for a 4-course menu. The food was of high standards and tasted amazing. All in all, a great dinner, fantastic experience and awesome staff.

We ordered the burrito beef and the chicken nude burrito bowl, and both dishes delivered on taste and flavor. The burrito beef was filled with tender and well-seasoned beef, accompanied by fresh toppings, creating a satisfying combination of flavors. The chicken nude burrito bowl offered a pulled chicken, a vibrant mix of mexican vegetables, and flavorful sauces. Both were very tasty! With reasonable prices and big portion sizes, La Catrina is worth considering if you're looking for a satisfying meal during your mall visit.

I’ve been here twice and I liked it each time! Great service and lots of options. We ordered the quesadillas, burrito pibil, burrito barbacoa and mini nacho’s with tinga de pollo. The nacho’s were amazing and the potion was large for a mini! Highly recommend! The quesadillas we’re alright, I’d eat them again as a side order. The burrito barbacoa was really good, very juicy. But the pibil was a bit dry and lacking in flavor. We also ordered a guava Jarritos, which was very good!

Excellent Mexican food. The Burrito and Mixed Tacos (Beef, Chicken and Pork) are absolutely wonderful. Service is friendly and helpful and pricing is affordable. But it is a food court area and can get very busy and loud with typical out of control children and rude adults. But worth the hassles and negative. Highly recommend.

The River is a nice restaurant in a very nice place. I think the rating is very close to being a perfect 5. The food was pretty good, but it wasn’t quite as good as you would expect for the price. The name is misleading as there is not a River here, it should be called the Canal or the Vliet. I had completely given up on any hope of finding Dirk that day, so Johan and I decided to get some food instead. The cut of steak had quite a hard piece to it and the burger had a piece of bone in it and was also quite salty. However, we did see a duck that swam underwater for around 50m which was very impressive. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes to enjoy a drink or some food out by the water, or, anyone who likes ducks, especially ducks that can swim underwater.

Delicious food, friendly staff and a perfect location next to the water. Especially during summer time this is the place to go for lunch, some bites with a drink or dinner. Prices are a bit high but the quality of the food is great.

Awesome, well priced pizza. Baked the proper way with a real pizza oven etc. Easily the best pizza in the Hague, and probably the cheapest non-fake pizza. If you live here, you get a discount, making pizza less than €10!

Attached to the Student Hotel and opened till 11.00pm. Wide variety of drinks, a good place to drink in the Holland Spoor area as there are no other bars except for the Penthouse. Atmosphere is very cool and chilled.

Today I had the best chickenburger of my life. It's always a telltale sign of a goof restaurant when they can elevate the simplest menu items such as a chicken sandwich and make it into something truly restaurant-quality. Would recommend.
