Waited for over an hour for our food while everyone else who came in after us got theirs. The waiter’s response was that they wouldn’t know how long the food takes to prepare so we just have to wait. Food in question: a plate of chicken and two sushi rolls. And the food turned out disappointing.

Talk about a variety of beautifully plated perfectly made food. Asparagus wrapped beef simple and delicious. We kept the menu through out ordering as we went along. Our server was pleasant and helpful. A must try in Stockton. 8/7/23 I’ve been back more than a handful of times over the years. Order something new, Always pleasantly pleased.

Visited Cocoro Bistro tonight while on a work trip to Stockton. We arrived at 6:15 and our party of 3 was sat right away, no need for a reservation. Very nice! We did however have to wait until 6:55 to place our orders and this was after having to flag down our waitress. She admitted that she forgot. I was only concerned about ordering because they close down at 8! Accidents happen, I understand. The food totally made up for any shortcomings in service though. The Agadashi Tofu is a must try! The rainbow roll is one of the best I’ve ever had and the sushi chefs slice the pieces thin so they are perfectly bite sized. The soft shell crab tempura was good if you like soft shell crab. I find it’s not for me but I can see how others would like it. The 3 Ways roll pretty good and the grilled edamame is perfect for a spice lover! The prices were on point as well. For the soft shell crab tempura, rainbow roll, tofu agadashi, and a to go Dill Salmon roll the bill came out to $51. Not bad. I’ve paid more for much lower quality sushi at other restaurants. I would visit this establishment again and I recommend them to others!

This place has to be the best sushi place in town now! Loooong time ago I visited and my experience was not satisfying at all. Flavors were poor, the place ambience was dim and service was decent. During this new visit the atmosphere was upbeat, the place was redesigned and thanks God we sat at the bar (drinking bar, not the sushi bar) because we met the new owner Jonathan 😃 What a delightful experience where the conversation was personalized and lighthearted. The food was delicious as well as the many new options on the menu 🙌 This is definitely the place you want to go back again, again and again! Thanks for the amazing welcome Jonathan and pray that you will continue to prosper 🙏

I remember seeing this spot a long time ago when I used to live in the area. Never had an opportunity to try it then but we went for it this time. This is a fantastic restaurant. Food aside the location is outstanding, right on the marina overlooking the water, it's just beautiful. The food was great, everything we had was great quality and full of flavor. Our server Bella was sweet and helpful, she gave out great recommendations and we were well taken care of. Overall this is a fantastic spot to visit and I recommend it to anyone in the area

A local favorite! This place has been around for many years and locals do a good a job supporting it. The daily specials are great. It really is a great environment to hang out with friends and just relax. Sitting outside near the water is probably one of the best things about this place besides the food. Nothing bad to say about this place but be aware that it can get pretty busy, that’s just a sign of its attraction.

The shrimp spring rolls were super refreshing and the oil peanut sauce with it tasted so good! I really enjoyed the Thai tea and man the Tilapia was delicious! I got it with the ginger soy on the side and I had the lemon dressing on top of the fish. Super good! If you want it more sweet I would go with the lemon dressing but if you want a more savory fish the ginger soy was super rich and yummy. Oh! And you need to try the fried banana with coconut ice cream. It was worth it! The price was also super reasonable considering the atmosphere and quality of food. Service was perfect and they Restraunt was constantly being cleaned. Not one Dirty table in sight for my entire visit. No doubt in my mind, I will be eating here again.

Just wow. This place was so good. We were looking for some nice spot to eat while traveling from SF to tahoe. Loved the vibe of place. Food was yummy. Enjoyed the cocktails and tom yum soups. Fried rice was tasty. Loved the mango sticky rice. Overall, must visit if you are around.

This place is simply divine! I'm from out of town, and I will be dreaming of this place until I come back. The best Thai food I've ever eaten. The drunken noodles are a must. The sweetness comes through with the savory. It might be a little too salty if you're watching your salt intake. So if you come, forget diet restrictions. The flavors are bold and very impactful here. I had the extra spicy chicken yellow curry. It's very spicy. I recommend just spicy for those who cannot tolerate heat. There's spicy, extra spicy, and hell. You're gonna be reaching for that water often. The pork belly is good. Nice and crispy and still tender. Eat it as soon as it comes to your table. The tomato dipping sauce adds a nice and fresh contrast to your palate. The service was excellent! The staff is very friendly and attentive. The place is small, so I bet the wait can get long when it's busy. Only con I have is that we got extra sticky rice for the side, and it was a little hard. However, the sticky rice with mango was perfect. The mango was nice and ripe, and the sticky rice was nice and soft and delectable.

Such a great surprise to know there is a big Filipino community here followed by some excellent food here! I had the recommended and popular "Urb Burger" with some sisig fries on the side and a fresh mango juice. Filipino food is my soul food and they hit the spot! Definitely will be here again and suggest others come by too.

My American Hubby was hungry for Langonisa ... This is the place to come. He had Langonisa plate with Rice, over easy Egg ( great job ... Yolk was great, salad. I had Sisig .. tasty n delicious .. Just the parking is hard to find n we went on a Saturday . It was worth it though.

Food was delicious, the Crack shrimp was fire. Zesty with a bit of spicy, definitely had a nice kick. If that wasn't enough, the Public Punch drink had an old school hood favorite MD 20/20. Curiosity got the best of me, but it tasted more like a wine or sangria. It did hit the spot though. Staff was really friendly too. I saw the tomahawk steak being served to another table, that thing is a beast so make sure you have your 'funderwear' on if you try it. Cheers 🍻

Love the food, delicious. Outside seats, nice and relaxing at that time Host seated us and made sure the drip from the mist line was not getting us wet, appreciated that. Must try the ahi nachos if you like tuna/poke. Efficient server got us our food, would go again.

Nice and quiet place and fun to be at. I was surprised. Great beer! Decided to come back and have a strong go at this place. There were four of us and we all were hungry. We were expecting a lot and once we sat down we were greeted with fantastic service. Our servers were excellent and provided prompt service. I had the round house steak and it was cooked to perfection. I also enjoyed the mixed drinks and dessert. Before our meal we ordered appetizers and they did not disappoint. If you're in Stockton and are looking for a place to have a nice quiet time and truly enjoy a first-class restaurant, then this is one of the places to head to. You will not be disappointed.

Pleasantly surprised! Stayed at the University Plaza while on a work trip and my group decided we’d eat in as the weather was so terrible. I got the chopped steak that was smothered in mushroom gravy with a side of mashed potatoes and broccoli. This was $19 and it was absolutely delicious! Even came with a salad! Other people in the group got the shrimp and scallops and the fettuccine Alfredo. Everything was really good and fairly priced. The wait staff was very nice and professional. I would definitely come back here! The venue is really pretty too. Large windows overlooking a green outdoor area right next to the water, upscale feel. I heard they were having staffing issues and the restaurant was even closed on Monday 3/27 because of it. If you’re in the area, consider trying them out!

This was my first sit-down meal experience at this restaurant. We were seated right away and quickly given water, however, it took a while before our server came to get our drink orders. After receiving our drinks, it took a while before we got our order taken. The restaurant was not busy, so I didn't understand the long wait periods. It was a Friday during Lent, so I ordered the grilled salmon with the sweet chili sauce on the side, along with the clam chowder. As an appetizer, we ordered the grilled artichoke to start. The artichoke was a good size and prepared well. It was tender and you could taste the smokiness of the grill. Absolutley delicious! The clam chowder was like wallpaper paste. It was thick and gloppy; not very good. The salmon was nothing spectacular. It was a tail portion, grilled all the way through (I prefer mine just slightly underdone), served over a bed of rice pilaf with broccolini. Overall, the meal was good, but a bit overpriced for what we got. If they ever do the prime rib buffet again, I would give them another try.

Great place to come have a good drink and food. bartender kris, he sure knows how to make his drinks and keep customers entertained, best bar tender in town!. Food is always delicious! It's never a disappointment. If your in town want to get a good drink and some delicious food stop by you won't be disappointed.

Was not staffed properly for events that were occurring. There was a cheer competition and a concert of some sort going on. Took 30 minutes to get our order taken and server never came back to ask us about refills. Servers were not assigned to any sections and were taking orders at random throughout. Management needs to know events that are occurring and properly staff the restaurant. Food was decent. The supervisor on staff didn’t seem to care and even snapped and talked rudely to another guest that was complaining of the situation.

I have a mixed review. Setting is quiet, great views and friendly staff. We ordered fried calamari which was good. Husband ordered the Delta Burger. It was big, fresh and cooked as ordered with sweet potatoe fries. Very tasty. I ordered the sweet chili garlic salmon with cilantro lime rice and seasonal vegetables. Quite disappointed, it was served with plain white rice, bland frozen Normandy blend. Salmon was glazed with what seemed to be sweet chilli sauce out of a bottle. Waiter checked on us regularly and I told him I wasn't impressed with my meal. He took meal off our tab without being asked to. We appreciated the gesture. We will give it another try, I just won't order the salmon.

I recently dined at a Siamese Street Thai restaurant after weeks of craving Thai cuisine. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. I ordered the red curry with regular rice, expecting a satisfying meal. However, I received a small appetizer portion, a modest cup of chicken curry with minimal chicken, bell pepper, and pumpkin, accompanied by a modest portion of rice—all for a hefty $17. Surprisingly, there was no offer for a refill or inquiry about my satisfaction with the meal. Upon receiving the check, the lack of attentive service became even more apparent. Seeking resolution, I requested to speak with the manager. Regrettably, she expressed an inability to address pricing, portion concerns, or service level, and offered a simple apology before departing. My disappointment stemmed not only from the portion size relative to the cost but also from the absence of attentive service throughout the meal. This experience has left me unsatisfied, highlighting potential reasons for the business's apparent struggles.

We ordered yellow curry with side of chicken, 1 order of egg rolls and papaya salad. Papaya salad dressing was too watery. The yellow curry was supposed to come with jasmine rice and they forgot to add it. Was to tired to drive back. They need to do a better job confirming their go to orders.
