This was our first time eating here. We called the restaurant for reservations and they were very friendly. Our server was excellent and was very communicative regarding the specials. All in all our meals were excellent. We would highly recommend this restaurant to all that are traveling through this area. A+++

What a fantastic place! This place excelled on all fronts. The atmosphere was very pleasant with the music playing. The staff was very friendly and outgoing. The food was very delicious. We had the Greek salad, the hummus and pita for a starter. We shared the Traditional Souvlaki steak skewers with tzatziki and a lemon sauce on a rice pilaf and some grilled veggies. The dessert we chose was called “not on a sundae” that featured pistachio ice cream, fudge sauce and baklava crumbles throughout. My husband tried the ouzo for an after dinner drink. It was quite a meal! If you love Mediterranean food, you won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic experience, seated very promptly without a reservation. Our server R. Uros was amazing, explaining things on the menu, very friendly and personable. The food and drinks were outstanding. The service from everyone was outstanding. The hostess and owner checked in with us to see how things were. Had great music also! Great atmosphere! Really amazing experience overall. Everything ordered was Fantastic. Started with Bread olive oil and warmed olives.. Souvlaki out of this world came with rice grilled vegetables.. With Humus and Tzatziki sauces.. A Greek Salad with shrimp totally delicious.. Server was friendly knowledgeable .. Suggestions were on point.. Uros- Highly recommended.

We were a group of eight and decided to answer that age old question of what is the best lobster roll? The one made with a mayo base or the one made with the butter base. We ordered a whole bunch of them and we wound up in a tie, and the only thing that was agreed-upon was that these lobster rolls were out of this world delicious! Can’t wait to go back and hit it again, but boy was that a treat. #stevensleavin

Wonderful lobster roll and delicious canned cocktail that I tried tonight. Can’t beat the location, right in Perkins cove watching the boats come in. Only thing my lobster roll needed was a bit of salt- otherwise it was perfect. My daughter had the fish and chips and it was also delicious, and a huge portion.

The line may be a bit long, but it moves very quickly and the quality & price is very hard to beat! You have to get creative about where you will sit, but it is well worth it to have lobster rolls here! The onion rings were also some of the best we’ve ever had and fries hit the spot as well. They also have a great selection of canned cocktails!

Nice friendly place with the best Lobster Roll in the area as agreed by everyone we talked with today. Nice little place at Perkins Cove in Ogunquit. It's a must eat each time we're here and highly recommend. We each had a lobster roll and clam chowder which was equally as good 👍

Breakfast on a Saturday. Scrambled eggs, French toast, western omelet, bacon, toast, sausage, home fries, and hollandaise sauce. Everything was excellent, with the exception of the home fries and vegables in the omelet. Vegetables were not cooked (a little or not at all), and the home fries were not cooked enough. Marble rye toast was a bit dry as well. French toast and bacon were great!! Would get again in a heartbeat!! Service was also excellent.

My wife and I had breakfast here on a rainy Tuesday morning in mid August 2023. We arrived at 9:30 am and the place was jam packed due to the weather (on a nice sunny day most people would already be at the beach). Parking was tight but we lucked out with a spot near the door. We waited 30 minutes for a table, and another 30 minutes for breakfast. Pretty much what to expect on a rainy day. Breakfast was wonderful. Custom omelettes, plus one of the best blueberry pancakes I've had. Service was very good despite the crowds. Our server Mike kept coming to the table with coffee refills. This is cash only, no credit cards. They serve only breakfast and close at noon. No real atmosphere (as in any other breakfast place), but the food was wonderful. Will definitely return the next time we vacation in the area.

We stopped here on our way home from a weekend wedding in Portland and I got the lobster Benny and I can honestly say it was the best eggs Benedict I have ever had! My husband loved his breakfast too. Our server was so friendly and fun as well. I will definitely be coming back the next time I’m in Maine!

One of our best meals while in Ogunquit. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and was located right in the heart of downtown Ogunquit. We started with mocktails for the kids and an In-Fashion drink for the adults, which were all delicious. The Seared Tuna salad and the fried fish tacos both hit the spot after a long day at the ocean. Kids enjoyed Mac & Cheese, Lobster Roll and Chicken with Fries. Cannot wait to return - excellent experience and even better food!

Enjoyed day in Ogunquit and decided to try The Front Porch and So glad we did! We had an absolute great time on the second floor where the piano was playing and loved Julia Chisholm she was FABULOUS playing the piano!!! She brought the room alive with great music 🎶 and had the audience singing along! Good selection of wines and beers. The Caprise appetizer was not our favorite. We highly recommend The Front Porch and would definitely return when in town again.

Fun place. Piano bar on the top floor, drinking singing dancing... That was the only place that had a vegan option in the entire town. Great vibe. Loved it there. Bar waiters are quick with your order even when it's busy.

This is a must visit place when you go to Ogunquit! So much fun and the food and drinks are awesome. I went last week and they had the BEST calamari I’ve ever had. We ordered several other appetizers and they were all so good. They also make the best espresso martinis. And don’t forget to go upstairs for the fun and singing at the Piano bar! It is so much fun and if you don’t make a bunch of new friends by the end of the night, you’re doing something wrong! 😂

Will definitely be back! Best lobster roll of my fiance's life! Get with butter instead of mayo. ;) The mussels were outstanding! I would love to bring home a bunch of that sauce to dip things in, so good! And the clams were very good, not greasy at all. Double fried delicious french fries. Nice view too! Closing for the season soon and so glad we got to go!

While the food was good and lobster bisque tasted delicious, we had a terrible experience with the staff. We’re a family of 5 with 3 small children. Arrived at 5:10pm to a nearly empty restaurant only to be seated in the back corner table. We asked if we could take a table by the window to enjoy the view and the hostess said they were all reserved for “guests on their list”. Since we did not have reservations, we understood and respected it. However, to our dismay almost all of the tables stayed empty the entire time we were there. Worse off the server assigned to us would disappear and forget we were even there. We had to wave (multiple times) and call him out to get his attention and place our order. We waited so long for the check that I just gave up, left my husband behind and headed towards the car with the kids. On the way out I told the server we had been waiting for him and that my husband stayed behind to pay. It felt we were seating back there because we had small children that might disturb their ambience or something. Pretty pathetic. My husband made a point to tell the host that we did not appreciate seeing all those tables remain empty when she denied us having one and her response as she looked up from being on her phone was “the guests never showed up”. He was so upset at the exchange that he left his phone behind. When I came back to claim it I was met with nasty faces and rude bartender upset with us. I couldn’t believe it and ended up speaking with the manager (I believe her name was Stephanie). She was very nice and apologetic. Unfortunately the terrible service makes me wish we had never dined here.

Food was good (Lobster bisque, clam chowder, cajun salmon, lobster tortellini, lobster casserole, lobster roll). They told us to wait 20min for a table but we waited 50min. Freezing cold inside. Service was not to par. (Waitress was nice but with no experience/training. ) Must be difficult to find staff. View must be nice during the day.

After spending the day at the beach and planning to have a lobster roll for the first time, we decided to find a close place and decided on Ogunquit Beach Lobster House. We made the best decision because it was the most delicious lobster roll I could have imagined. I can't compare it to anything else since this was our first time trying. The crab cake was excellent but slightly different from here in Virginia Beach. The house beer selection is great, and I did try a few. We sat on the outside patio to watch the sunset, so definitely. This is a five-star from us, and we would absolutely visit again.

Awesome views, great service, great seafood. Had the lobster bisque, lobster sliders and lobster 🦞 roll. All amazing. Not cheap, but hey, you get what you pay for. Parking across the street at public lot for $7 an hour.

So close to be a five star review with all the hype yet we had a wonderful experience. The service and staff was perfect! We sat outside and seating is first come first serve. The original wait was about 1 hour but we got a table after 30 min of waiting. We decided to take a few minutes walk to Perkins Cove to kill time. Apps: French onion soup 5 star Escargot 3 star. I know butter is what makes this dish but wow it was drowning in it and other ingredients didn't get to shine through to balance it out. It just tasted like snails with butter. Main meal: Beet Salad , 5 star Cioppini, 5 star Desert: Creme brulee, 5 star. Each time we scoped the nice sugar crust had it's crunch

My Mom and I had an amazing dinner here on Tuesday night. We got there around 5:45 and the place was already hopping! We had a short wait to get a table so we decided to have a drink at the bar. The atmosphere over there was so great, the bartender so friendly and so nice and quiet that we decided to eat our dinner at the bar. I started with steamers, my Mom had wings, both were excellent. I had the lobster which was perfectly cooked, the side dish of coleslaw was slightly sweet and delicious. Mom had the stuffed butterflied shrimp, she loved it. The staff was very friendly, the bathrooms are clean and there’s plenty of parking in this large facility. Go very early or late, the in between hours are so busy but worthwhile.

Nice place if you have a taste for seafood and are feeling nostalgic. My boyfriend’s parents took me out to eat here. I had the backed haddock with homemade beans. The food was decent, the service was excellent but the prices were about 25-35% higher then they should be given the quality, atmosphere, presentation and quantity. The place looks the same as when I was a kid and probably hasn’t been updated since my parents were kids ha ha.

We happened upon this gem purely by happenstance after staying within walking distance and having it recommend by the owner of our hotel. Prior to going I had read the negative reviews as I often focus on. Our first observation was that the parking lot was full on a Monday night off-season. I had noted that a couple of reviewers had suggested that the lobster bisque was bland and that was where we started our meal. The bisque was delightful. I had the lobster pie and the entire meal was very good. Other reviewers had noted that the vegetables were almost raw and over spiced. They weren’t heavily cooked but the way people actually service fresh vegetables nowadays and definitely not over spiced. Being an old fashioned clean your plate kind of guy I had no problem finishing the task and my barometer for exceptional food is the mashed potatoes. They were great and I could have finished a double helping. It’s hard to question whether the reviews from last year may have been due to different ownership but judging from the big crowd I would doubt there ever was a change in ownership or management style. I’ll add a picture of my check for reference. We are planning to come back tomorrow so I can try the non-seafood meatloaf dinner.
