This restaurant has been around since 1980 and when you go you will see why. This place feels very home like and welcoming. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the restaurant itself as well as the food. Great prices and excellent food! The portions are very generous and all entrees come with a soup, salad, bread rolls and cinnamon rolls! Family friendly as well. If you’re ever in town, definitely make a stop here! We tried the French onion soup which was one of the best I ever had, a dozen of the oysters Rockefeller, which were massive and delicious, and the broiled seafood platter which was also very yummy. 3 of us shared and still had leftovers! Highly recommended!!

Of course everyone loves eating here. It's usually pretty good. The cup of soup I had looked almost like broth not a lot in it. And the cinnamon rolls felt day old and were cold. My steak was a little raw and hard to chew. Everyone else seems to like their dinner. Is a little expensive for what you're getting. Overall it's a decent seafood restaurant.

Our server, Patrick, was great. I'm not a seafood person, so I went for the fish lovers in my family. They enjoyed their fish. My food was fine. I really liked their ranch dressing, sounds like a small thing but it was so good.

This place seems like it hasn’t changed since it opened in 1980! Which is both a good and bad thing. First off our sever Dee was so nice and attentive! Secondly your not leaving this place hungry. They give you bread and cinnamon rolls to start. The cinnamon rolls seemed odd at first but I loved having something sweet at the end of my meal! Third, the meals also come with soup & salad. Salad is outdated yet edible. I did like the soup it’s kind of like a rustic vegetable soup with some fish. Fourth the main course! My wife got the Alaskan Crab and I got the prime rib (per dee’s recommendation) Prime rib was sooooo tender and tasty, my wife loved her crab. This place is old school so if you like that kind of thing you won’t leave hungry!

This restaurant serves very large portions, and the servers are great, but the food is satisfactory. Each meal comes with soup, bread, cinnamon rolls and salad. The soup and bread are very good. Our entrees were the Captain Hook's Combination (crab legs, shrimp, crab cake, scallops and haddock) and the Fried Shrimp dinner. Out of the 5 items on the Captain Hook's entree, only the crab cake and crab legs had good flavor and were cooked properly, the other items were overcooked and did not have very good flavor. This restaurant has a lot of good qualities, but the food we ordered was not very good.

I don't even know how to start. The food was freakin amazing. And I have been around the block in terms of restaurants ok. The blackened shrimp with grits was absolutely, unequivocally out of this world. I'm now left daydreaming about it! The seared ahi was also mind blowing. How do they make food taste this good?? How? What kind of magic is this? It's like crack, I've already gone back twice. If you're debating whether you should try this place over another, DO NOT THINK TWICE MAN.

Heather our server was absolutely amazing, not smothering us but attentive making sure that we had everything we could possibly need. Food that came out of the kitchen was so good that I had to literally go back into the kitchen and give the cook's a tip. At the end of our experience the manager came out to make sure everything was good and do a table touch which was perfect because everything was amazing. I suggest you check this place out and give them some business you will be happy.

I want to try to be as factual as I can. I will note my opinions I came here after a bit of researching our Florida vacationton for our first Florida dinner this trip. the place is very pretty on the water. that's the end of my good experience. Our waitresses never 1 time came to our table for ANYTHING! I had to ask the guy who brought our food, for 2nd drinks. "not his job" of course so he found our waitresses assigned to getting other rooms ready, for other events i suppose, and after a good deal of waiting we had our 2nd, and unknowingly the last drink we would get served. The fish and chips I had sat in the window too long and already had soggy batter. Fish and chips should have a crunchy batter. Big fail. wonder why. (IMO sat in window while I should have been eating it) Had to have someone find our waitresses for everything. sat with empty drinks A LOT! I had to again ask for someone to find my waitresses for our check. meanwhile big tables around us with other waiters got impeccable service. Not 1 offers to fill our drinks that were empty and on the edge of the table for the world to see all night. Management! Please! if you dont have waitresses for a table as she has other duties, please tell your customers before they are seated. (was not the waitresses fault IMO) I would not have donated my lousy $150 for my wife and I to have improperly served fish n chips n shrimp scampy. Best i can say for our food is, The shrimp scampy is not too bad luke warm. that's my 2 cents for a $150. I'll never be back short of an offer from this place to attempt to right the failure with dedicated waitress to my table. ps. 25,000,000 views on google. I rarely write bad reviews.

This place definitely has a vibe about it. Possibly because it's on the river instead of the Beach. It's very relaxed, casual and light with just the right amount of class! I won't say it's cheap because it's not. While there are cheaper options on the menu our meals were about $36 each with appetizer on top of that. The appetizer came out timely and was very well prepared and presented. Not only that but it was delicious. Bread tasted fresh baked and delicious. Fish, muscles, shrimp and sides were professionally prepared and excellent. The wait staff was fantastic and friendly. Our waitress checked back often and the manager also came by to ask how everything was. The views on the deck are absolutely beautiful. Actually I can't recommend this restaurant more than to say do yourself a favor and visit!

Jane was our server and she did an outstanding job. The new hostess was on target!..Waterfront magic with superb Live music ,an impromptu dolphin show and mahi mahi tacos with a side for $10.00 Wednesday special! Plus Tito vodka $5.00! Of course we had to share a piece of key lime pie! We will be back!

Expensive food. While the food was good, I don't feel like it was nearly good enough to justify the premium price. Also, the presentation was weak for a restaurant that is charging $30-50 a plate. I'm lucky I was treated to this meal or else I would have been extremely disappointed. Service was the bare minimum of what you would expect. I'm not sure if it was worth the mandatory 20% (party of 8 or more) of the expensive food. The atmosphere is nice because of the location and the view, and the actual building is nice, but the lack of parking and stress related to just getting to the place definitely detracts from the experience.

Stopped in for drinks, apps and dessert. We enjoyed the Beef on Weck Sliders, Escargot and the Brownie Delight. Our server, Jennifer was attentive and friendly. Sat on the patio with a great view of the river and the North Causeway Drawbridge.

I really went back and fourth on the star rating. My family and I stopped in our last night on vacation. First off the crunchy fish sandwich is HUGE, order a xtra bun and share it with a friend. The down side it was BLAND! Tasted like I was eating nothing. Filling but bland. We also had the wings with the lucky leprechaun sauce (all the sauces combined). Above average for bar wings (I consider myself a expert) my biggest complaint even tho the skin was crispy they were a little dried out. The sauce was unique but it made wish it was either more sweet or had more heat! Sever was very kind and attentive. Bill was a little high for basic bar food. Ultimately the lack of value is what drove the star rating down. I can see how the locals like it, but it feels like a tourist trap!

The restaurant itself is nice inside but the food is WAY too overpriced for the quality. The food is so bland. And couldn’t find much on the menu less than $15. We ordered 1/2 order of potato skins that we were about $9 and got 3. My girlfriend got the chicken nuggets (pictured) and they were most certainly frozen nuggets. The food isn’t worth the prices, at all. I suggest spending your money elsewhere with tastier food.

Outstanding service! Mike was our server and extremely attentive. Very knowledgeable of the menu and had answered every question. He timed everything perfectly from our drinks, appetizers, entrees and a take out order!!! we were very impressed. did not feel rushed or feel like we were waiting around. Our food was delicious, we ate everything on our plates. We had the smoked fish dip that came with warmed pita bread YUM!! Entrees were a warm buttered toasted Maine Lobster roll that melted in your mouth. The lobster meat was super tender & sweet. And what seemed like homemade meatballs in a sub roll. The meatballs were gigantic and came with extra sauce on the side. We ordered take-out (snow crab legs)for a family member who could not dine with us and they were cooked perfectly. Although the dining room seemed 90% full on NFL opening day, you would never know, there was a full staff here operating in perfect order. We will definitely be back to try different entrees and perhaps a dessert next time 😄

My wife and I had dinner here on a Sunday night around 5:30pm in September 2023. I dropped her off so I could find a spot to park (ended up across the street), so she went in to see about seating. There was a 30 minute wait for a table, so we opted for seats at the bar as they are first come, first serve and there were a few spots open. The inside of the restaurant was very nice - the remodel turned out great aesthetically! The bathrooms are away from the dining area near the outdoor waiting area, which is a nice thing in my opinion. The drinks were good - I had a Top Shelf Margarita (quite good) and the wife opted for a Castaway Margarita (very sweet and pineapple- heavy), then a Mule sort of drink. We each had 2 cocktails, so we were at $52 before ordering our entrees. I had the Honey Ginger Soy Glazed Shrimp and Tuna and enjoyed it. My wife opted for the Island Chicken Sandwich with Mac and cheese (that side is a $4 upcharge.) All in all, it was a good meal and a good atmosphere as they had a live musician there playing 90s tunes. Was it worth the $100+ we paid? Not to me, but I understand food is expensive and they have plenty of costs to recoup, so it is what it is. Next time, we'd likely have our own drinks in advance and share an entree and it would be more enjoyable for me personally that way. Definitely worth trying at least once to form your own opinion based on your experience.

Nice place good food great atmosphere. Haley was excellent. By far the best service we have received from anywhere. She made us feel like we were family. One thing I didn't understand is the silverware. The quality was as if it was purchased at Dollar Tree. Everything else was wonderful will return soon.

Chases is one of our favorites places to eat and enjoy a beverage! Their menu includes many options even for me being gluten free. Love the Bourbon Chicken Satay and the Steak Argentine was absolutely delish! They have a remarkable view and the staff is very attentive! White table cloth evening dining too on the weekend!

We absolutely love this restaurant and ended up eating here every night while visiting family in New Smyrna. From Wayne at Valet to all the wonderful wait staff we could not feel more pampered. They are also so dog friendly and many dog owners seemed to know each other. The location is gorgeous and we miss you all already. Hazel & Julia.

Had an amazing dining experience. We were able to get into dinner with no wait. Everyone eating around us was having such a great time. Such a fun, high energy restaurant yet classy and chic. Our server, Keoni, was incredibly responsive and fast in taking our order, making recommendations, and making sure we had the best dining experience. The food was INCREDIBLE. Piping hot, served as ordered, and impeccable plating. I cannot recommend this place enough. Very well managed across the board from the minute the valet parks your car.

The food and atmosphere were both amazing! You have to try their sandwiches and board app. The service on the other hand left a little to be desired since they were so busy. I believe if they didn’t have huge parties it would of been a different story. To be fair, we were sat quickly and food was received in a reasonable time frame. The only negative was they forgot things a few times but we did end up getting them one of which was silverware. Again, to be fair they were busy. We will return next year when we come back to town.

What an amazing dining experience. Food was very good, tasty, and portion value. I did find a wallet in the restroom that belonged to a staff member (returned the Drivers License and the Cash)and they were just not very thankful! Beautiful view of the waterways and boats.

Just look it at. Every single time. It’s so good. The queso specialities are amazing. I suggest flavor bomb number three. It’s both sweet and savory and literally a flavor bomb. I have tried about 5 different things on the menu and they’ve all been delicious. I love coming here and will keep coming here. Also, loves y’all hot sauce.

I had a medical appointment in NSB and was so hungry afterward. I looked for vegan options in the area & Yellow Dog Eats came up. I came in right as they opened for lunch & ate at the bar since I was alone. My waitress was friendly & attentive. I ordered the Jamaican Jerk cauliflower tacos. They were the best plant based meal I have had at any restaurant in the area. Each ingredient complemented one another perfectly. I will definitely be bringing my meat-eating daughter back for dinner sometime soon!

We’ve been here twice in the past month and I hope we come back again soon! Cute restaurant with fun decor, plenty of seats at the front, inside and at the bar, or on the back patio. Super delicious sandwiches, tacos, and queso dip. Pet friendly, super nice staff, and clean restrooms.

If you are looking for a dog friendly place this is for you. Usually owners are responsible with their pets but be prepared for louder environment. Food is okay, not too good not too bad. They do make a lot of their own ingredients which is incredible but our food wasn’t as good as we expected. For taste i would say 3.5 but their location and all dogos around make it much better experience! Overall worth visiting, but I don’t think i would go back many times.

Good overall experience. It was a cool setting with back patio seating and tables outside/ up front. Wished we had some standards in fries or burgers as the kiddos were being fussy. Otherwise the Buffalo 🦬 soldier was an awesome wrap! And the service was friendly!
