We had a great three course lunch today. All tasty & well presented. The only (slight) criticism was the portion size of the veggie main course had by one of our party. The mushroom open lasagne was very small (no pic as wasn't my choice) in comparison to the other mains of chicken chasseur & salmon. Maybe if it had been served with e.g garlic bread or a side salad? Still fantastic value and very enjoyable.

We enjoyed a very pleasant meal here. The staff were friendly and the restaurant felt intimate and cosy in its decor. We all very much enjoyed our meals, the pasta was creamy and warming and the pizza had a crispy crust and was topped generously with peppers and goats cheese. I felt that the portion size for my pasta was a little small (although perhaps I’m just greedy as my friends were perfectly satisfied with theirs), the pizza was good however, less cheese would have been preferred as it was very thick and a little over-powering.

Excellent food, wine, and service at La Favorita. Literally could have licked the plate clean. Scallops for Starter. Cooked to perfection and piping hot. I was going to have a steak for the main course, but I decided on the Monk Fish in Tagliatelle. Another amazing dish. Again, piping hot. Compliments to the chef 👨🍳

I had the linguine marinara, pasta with sun dried tomatoes, king prawns and mussels, in a rich tomato sauce and my husband got the penne arrabbiata. The seafood in the linguine was nice and a good amount of it, though i did have to add some salt to my own personal taste as it was slightly bland for me but the optional cheese on top really brought out the flavours, i was also offered black pepper but said no so maybe that would have made it even better for me. Next time ill do that. The portion size was good and the bread was delicious. 👌🏾 The penne arrabbiata was very nice and had a lovely amount of spice and flavour to it. The resturant was quiet at around 5:30 when we came, but the waiter was very welcoming and attentive The price was reasonable and we both enjoyed the meal. Would return!

Hidden Gem in Loughborough High Street. This place has amazing authentic Italian food. Going into the resteruant you can smell how amazing the food is. The decor is very Morden and welcoming. They can cater for Halal options like they did for us prior to visiting them. Finally thank you for looking us Faisal and Hissam!

I took my son out for dinner in the evening so was quite dark outside, (late October), and I didn't notice that the car park had a camera system. Car park was almost full and I was focussed on finding a spot. I've been to this Harvester several times over nearly a decade and there was no camera system until more recently, which is another reason why I didn't notice. Imagine my surprise when a £100 parking fine turns up a week later. Why didn't any of the staff ask if we had parked? Please instruct your staff to ask guests if they have parked so they don't get stung as well. With the prices of everything going through the roof, the last thing I needed was a £100 parking fine. I'm so angry, I feel like I've been scammed. I binned the receipt the day after the meal, so I can't contest the fine now. The food was fine and it was a good steak. No complaints about the food/service at all, but I will never come back.

It had been many years since I had been to a harvester. In that time though they have really made improvements to their menu, the food was very good and tasty. It was very clean with excellent polite and helpful service. The price was also very reasonable. Only thing that let it down a tiny bit was the cheese they used for the burgers was that liquid stuff you get out of a squeezy bottle, so not great. So please harvester if you read this, use proper cheese for a burger..

Would have been 5 stars for the food but we ordered 3 steaks - 1 medium rare ,1 medium and 1 well done all of them were red in the middle but when mentioned it was dealt with immediately. Becky who served us was polite, jolly, informative and very professional she was a real gem she lightened the evening up for us and deserved all the praise she got. Will go back again enjoyed the food especially enjoyed the service and the whole experience was really good.

We arrived about 3.45pm as a group of nine without a booking. The lady looked a little hesitant but went to talk to her manager. They quickly prepared a table for us and mentioned they had a party of 20 due so maybe we’d like to order fairly quickly. The staff were superb, often popping over to make sure everything was ok. When we arrived there were a couple of tables occupied. When we left it was half full but although they were busy we were still well looked after. The food was excellent, plenty of choices and combinations, delicious, hot and generous without being too enormous. Definitely a great place for a happy family treat.

Although the waiter was a little.... 'Rude' the food was absolutely fantastic. Atmosphere was really cool, decor was clean and respectful, portion sizes were good enough for healthy appatites and service was as you would expect. Will definitely return again. Very happy.

Service and the vibe was awful. The Kurdish food I ordered was well below the lowest standard I’ve ever tried anywhere else in the world. I am sure the person who cooked has no idea about flavour or how to cook a basic Kurdish or other dishes. It was a lot of really flavourless meet and rice which I ended up taking it back to my dog, he enjoyed it, I think. Come on guys pay attention to quality not quantity. I paid £12 for lamb kozi that I couldn’t eat, I rather pay £15 or 18 for less but proper tasty food.

Highly recommended place in Loughborough. The food was amazing! We got the platter for two, moussaka and kunafa, everything was delicious. Very good prices, portion size and nice atmosphere. We will be back

Popped in for lunch after a bowling trip with my daughter, and this has been the best experience eating out in a while! Our server, Jacob, was highly attentive and amazing with interacting with my daughter and even talking about her colouring when he came to check us. Absolute credit to the team. Big shout to the chefs too, I know they can lose out on the limelight sometimes, but the food was perfect and served very fast! Overall a massive thanks to all the team, and we will be seeing you again soon 🙌

Update from last evening(2Aug23): After a long time of not visiting, yesterday felt right to do it, a weekday, not too busy. It reveals to be the worse idea ever. Never got served a "wooden" chicken plater before, although we tried to dig in the very hard and dry chicken. It was like chewing "sugar cane without the juice" if you know what that means. By the time we got a waiter and then reached a manager, all sides were cold. The duty manager offered us half a chicken (as they did not have any other choices at that time). So, we got half a decent chicken (not whole like in the original full platter order) to eat with leftover sides cold chips. Needless to say that we asked for a take away box, and took the chicken away with us and went home to get some warm airfryer oven chips to go with it. Therefore, until we forget this latest eating out experience "Not Nandos" is on the blacklisted ban again. - It's Nando's...depending on how busy the branch is, the quality varies. It was edible and decent, as we people are...some days better than others... from almost edible to really nice...this time was in the middle...and sadly...no olive oil to season our salad (it was not supplied on request, as there were no more bottles available - according to our table assistant). Toilets (male) in need of some tlc maintenance, after the 3rd time visit and the middle hand wash sensor faucet was still broken - maybe next time ;)

Last week, I decided to have a meal with my family at Nando’s, when we arrived we were greeted by a man wearing a blue t-shirt who seemed to be the manager. It wasn’t that busy so we were seated abruptly. We eventually made our order at the counter to the manager and ordered a starter of pitta bread and hummus along with our mains. When the food arrived, we received our three mains and one pitta bread and a small block of butter. We asked about the hummus we ordered with the pitta bread and the man in the blue shirt said ‘my bad bro’ .We expected him to then bring the correct order. However he did not. We found this very rude in the way he apologised and did not even bother to replace it. The customer service was very poor.

where do i begin. me and two other friends came in one evening, we all ordered online and all was fine, the issue was with the lack of service and care. i had ordered my meal first, yet the other two orders arrived first, fine, i get that it can take time for these things. the second friend to get their food however was deeply apologised too for how there food was late. whilst i still had neither my food nor drink. cut to about 30 minutes post ordering, i can see what i believe is my meal sitting on the hot serve area, chips are missing but im at least hopeful that my food has not been forgotten. chips are put on 5 minutes later, great, my food is ready, right? nope, the people at the counter are busy stacking glass cups in a pyramid and all the people waitering are just walking past my meal. i can see the food is ready, it only took 10 minutes for someone on their break to overhear my conversation and ask if im missing my food, i told him its been sitting there for about 15 minutes. they brought it over , no apologies or nothing. burger was now stale and the chips weren’t great.

Ordered via deliveroo app, cost me £50 for two meals. The chicken tasted of chemicals and was completely inedible. Phoned the restaurant and they offered us nothing. Also gave us no sauce, which is the whole point of nandos. Terrible. Absolutely terrible. So we paid £50 for chips and two cans of pop... How's that for value? Insanity. Certainly will never be going here again.

I love this restaurant and the space they have. The courtyard is beautiful with fires to keep you warm. The pizzas are simple yet delicious with a good variety of toppings. Top tip, I like my pizza crispy so make sure to mention it when ordering 🍕

Real and authentic pizza experience - lovely flavour combination on The Old 3 that I had. Pistachio works so well! Really speedy service. I loved receiving an intact pizza that I cut up myself. All round great place... thoroughly recommend. 😋

Hi we were dropping our son back at uni so all stopped here for lunch. The weather was great so we sat outside. Our waiter Juan was really attentive and pointed out different parts of the menu that might interest us. The pizzas were so good. Then as they were launching the new menu we also got to try a Mediterranean starter plate FOC . This was olives roasted tomatoes feta cheese etc. really good too. I’d say don’t chop up the fresh tomatoes and serve it on a colourful plate and it would be even better . It was such a good experience Thank you we’ll come back whenever we’re in Loughborough again.

The most incredible meal here tonight. Service was outstanding, everyone was so friendly and welcoming, they couldn't do enough to help. The food was 10/10 out of this world good, I especially recommend the beef short rib which was marinated in the most delicious sauce. We also had bibimbap rice which would make a stunning meal on its own but paired with the meat was perfect. The deserts were the perfect end to an incredible experience!! Thank you and will hopefully see you again soon.

The food here was so good. We can’t stop raving about the fried prawn dumplings. They were SO flavourful, crispy, and accompanied with a perfect umami sauce. For main course I had Bibimbap which was even better than I had anticipated. Although at first glance it seemed a little plain, the pork marinade really carried throughout the dish, helped but a lovely runny yolk. The only slight disappointment was the pork black bean noodles. As can be seen from the photograph, there was far too much sauce and not enough substance in vegetables or protein. The flavour was nice but the ratio needed work. We ordered a side of hot cucumber kimchi and a bottle of Soju ;) both of which were very welcome additions to the meal. We would definitely come here again, the staff were warm and helpful AND the table next to us ordered Korean barbecue which gave us serious food envy! Check out my insta @londons.best.bites for more!

Came here several times about a year ago with the last time being 9 months ago until returning a few days back. With the new management the portions are about half the size and cuts of meat are worse off (for chicken). Prices have remained about the same, so this is a surprise. The order made once fed 6 people and now only fed 3 with no left-overs. Food was still okay, although much less flavourful and spicy than before. Unsure if a bad batch of chicken received, but the whole party felt sick around 4 hours after, and it left me violently throwing up 7 times within a short span of time. Last time anything made me sick was over 6 years ago (thanks to an ironclad stomach) so this was suprising to say the least considering the food did not taste off. Very disappointing visit. Food is no longer worth the cost. Staff are lovely however and the atmosphere is nice. 2 stars, as the food used to be much better and I want to give the past management some credit.

Great to experience Korean food ! Atmosphere is ok lots of TV screens and sometimes they leave the door open so it gets quite cold. stone bole rice is awesome however the meat portion can be variable. Really nice geoza on the menu too.
