AquaTerra is a definite go-to if you’re looking for amazing cuisine, the best of the best in service, beautiful decor and a stunning view. The menu is varied and features some amazing meals with uniqueness. The drink menu is also impressive with its long list of signature cocktails. I had the scallops with lobster bisque, and it was delicious. The service was absolutely astounding, I would say the best I’ve ever had. Staff was very friendly, extremely generous and had great knowledge of the menu. The marina covers the entire outside view of the restaurant which makes for great scenery. The decor of the restaurant was also immaculate, with even the tableware perfectly set-up to match the colours and ambience of the place. 5/5 for everything, an overall great experience.

We celebrated our engagement dinner at AquaTerra, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. The service was amazing. I made a note to have a champagne bottle and seating with a nice view, and all of my requests were granted. Although I'm not a huge fan of fine dining food as most are hit or miss places, this restaurant blew me away with its portion sizes. You will get full after eating here - it will be a satisfying full, too. The only nitpick I have is that the beef tenderloin could have been made more medium rare throughout the cut, but it was still pretty juicy. I rate this place 8.3/10. The patio at Aqua Terra is lovely. Nice shaded patio right along the harbour. A beautiful view! The menu offers local ingredients, cooked and plated to perfection. The KOOC Burrata-fresh tomatoes on a bed of house made pesto, topped with fresh Burrata cheese and sourdough bread. This was absolutely delicious. Vibrant, flavourful and very fresh. I already want more. Steak and frites- Super tender grilled local striploin steak topped with a delicious compound butter, confit garlic aioli, with house cut rosemary salt fries. The salty fries compliment the beef so nicely! Jerk spiced tofu- marinated chunks of tofu, with a pineapple pico de gallo, local asparagus and broccolini with the most delcious peanut ginger sauce. Cocktails- Mango Spicy Marg, Golden hour mojito, Summertime mule, and the Key Largo. All of the cocktails were SO DELICIOUS. If you’re looking for an amazing meal with a great view this is your spot!

Food was nothing comparable to +4 stars! Service was 5 and our waiter did everything to make this 5 stars rating. Only good item was charcuterie but again not great. French onion soup had flavor of honey and that was it! Asked for spices and waiter did confirm it needed some. Scallops dish had 5 scallops “dime” size - main dish! @ $45 and overcooked 🧐. Windows have not been cleaned for years in our corner. Absolutely not what we expected! Stay away as value is not there

This place is located inside the hotel. There are gorgeous views of the water. The service is professional. The food is very overpriced; however for a restaurant of this kind, the portions are quite sizable. The dress code here is implicitly buisiness casual.

Odessa was amazing for servicing us, had a great time eating at Lone Star, it's been a few months since I've dined in one. Had the Queso cheese dip and chips starter, tortillas for two with buffalo chicken and steaks. And some chicken wings with a side of blue cheese salad. It was good overall with the food, but I'm bit worried about the pricing, it was surprising the hike at the establishment. I would go back, but the pricing is definitely a reason for looking at other options in town.

All of our orders were correct. They seated us where we could see the sports game. The food was good. The service was very good. The only negative comment would be that although I don't feel the service intended anything offensive we would have been more comfortable if he wasn't so touchy. He was polite and attentive though.

The servers are always great and are just doing their job. I visit with my family for mothers day 2023. Being 6 people, we waiting about 1 hr with no reservation and that was very reasonable. Things went down hill very quickly when we were seated upstairs, next to a group of 20 ish, very loud people. We couldn't even hear next to each other and had to yell to be heard across our tables. We were given 1 portion of nachos and salsa to share between 6 people. Apparently their new rule is 1 serving per table? Yet we were 2 tables combined for our party. (so was the group of 20 also sharing 1 serving?) To finish off, the original Quesadilla was inedible. We weren't even sure if we were served real chicken. Luckily we got to speak to the floor manager and this meal was compt due to being barely eaten beside the sides. Lonestar used to be a family friendly place my family would be excited to visit for special occasions. After this experience and the high price point to dinning in, we will most likely not be coming back. *this was probably the 3rd time we've visited and left pretty disappointed due to food related issue's *

Outstanding meal! Nice, friendly staff. Well rounded menu - something for everyone. Pasta dishes were amazing. Our table had the carbonara, limone and the salmon special. Nice wine list too. 🍷 I think I heard the staff say they are taking reservations up to 2 months in advance now. Can't wait to go back!!

My wife and I showed up to Casa spontaneously for our Wedding Anniversary tonight, we are from out of town. Upon entering the restaurant and asking if they had room for a party of 2 we were presented with the greeter inform us that ‘as long as we were out by 6:30pm it be fine’. I took everything in me to not look at my wife and goto another establishment. I found that greeter to be rude and honestly, the owner should have a long talk with her about what is proper customer service. Aside from that, the waitress was really friendly, prices were not outrageous and the food was actually really good. I had the Spaghetti and meatball and my wife had a lemon chicken linguini and we shared a cheesecake. Was delicious. It was just the beginning that seemed off and my wife and I agreed we just felt rushed.

Second time here and it wasn’t quite as good as I remember. Food was still good quality and cooked beautifully but the composition/presentation was a little off to me - didn’t have the balance and visual appeal I was expecting. However, the service was excellent! The biggest issue we had was when one of our party got their to-go dessert. I’m not convinced a two-bite brownie and a little bit of sauce can ever been deemed as worth the price they charged for it.

Came here for a night out while in Kingston. Place is neatly tucked into an internal courtyard with a wonderful patio. We choose to go inside, and had a wonderful dinner. Service was excellent and the options were diverse and interesting. My wife did not totally love her dumplings but the rest was great and ambiance brought it up a notch. Definitely worth the visit.

This was the best restaurant experience that I have had in many years! I can remember coming to Chez Piggy for various family celebrations, so I thought I would pop in for dinner on October 3. I was welcomed warmly as soon as I entered the restaurant. My server was efficient and courteous. As far as the meal meant it did not disappoint. I started with a flavourful tomato based morrocan bean soup with the in-house fresh bread, followed by the rack lamb chops, which were perfectly cooked. I finished the meal with a dessert called Sweetie Pie, a key lime pie with coconut cream and candied lime. If you are ever in Kingston, Chez Piggy should be your first call!

Came here on a weeknight for dinner and was super impressed. This was my first time at this restaurant and had no idea what to expect. We were seated upstairs and it was very quiet, the server immediately came up and asked if we wanted any drinks and was super attentive. I ordered the scallops + bubbles and it was amazing. It is scallop risotto cooked in sparkling wine. The flavours were incredible and the scallops were cooked amazingly. I would love to come back and try something different from their menu.

I would like to take a moment to express our experience on August 21 at your restaurant. My partners were thrilled to visit Chez Piggy for the first time to celebrate his birthday. Unfortunately, the experience from reservation to in-person was less than what we expected. The wait to be served took between 15-20 minutes long, and the food's quality and flavour were not meeting its reputation and nowhere near as good as it used to be. I ordered the iced dirty chai tea, and I was disappointed with how it tasted. The balance between the chai tea and espresso was completely off. We ordered fries, calamari, and the specials of the night. The fries were basic from presentation to flavour, and the calamari was served cold and had to be sent back for a remake. The remake tasted better, but the flavour, texture, and presentation were still basic. I questioned the quality and was told it wasn't from frozen. I think there's a need to re-evaluate the level of excellence of these dishes. Our first course was poorly executed, from presentation to flavour. I sent it back, and my partner got a Caesar salad as a replacement, which was not their favourite. Receiving a full bill without any effort made to recover our poor experience was disappointing. Though you made an effort to remove the calamari and drinks from the bill, those are basic customer service gestures in the industry. We were hoping for something above and beyond to recover from the experience. It felt like there was almost instant deflection and defensiveness every time feedback was given. As a frequent customer, I found today's experience disappointing as a whole. I hope this feedback will inspire your restaurant to find new ways to improve the current menu and better focus on customer service to go above and beyond to provide exceptional experiences for others.

Two words - duck gnocchi! So good! My fiancé and I went to Days on Front this weekend for our anniversary after it was recommended to us and it was AMAZING! We started with the pork belly, which was sweet and delicious. Then of course we both had the duck gnocchi for our mains. My fiancé and I both agreed that it was the best dish that we’ve ever eaten at a restaurant. Our server, Erica was fantastic! She was attentive, friendly and you could tell that she genuinely enjoyed her job. We’ve been to many of the higher end restaurants in downtown Kingston and have never received the level of service that we received from Erica. As someone who also works in the service industry, it was a nice change! We will definitely be back!

Delicious food and friendly and knowledgeable service. Ambiance was nice and not too loud, even on a busy Saturday night. I appreciate that they were able to seat me in the dining room even if I had booked a table in the lounge because it was all that was left. They truly seem to value their customers' experience. The duck gnocchi was so good. I highly recommend DF for a nice night out.

An absolute hidden gem of a place. Food was exquisite - the best I’ve had in a long while. Prices are quite reasonable given this. Service was fantastic - laid back, no attitude - and the vibe is nice - dim, private. It’s tricky to find because it really doesn’t look like much from the outside, which just makes it that much more of a treat to sit down to a phenomenal meal. I has the soup, arctic char and crème brûlée with the recommended wine pairing and it was all stellar, though the soup was next level.

This is the best fine dining restaurant in Kingston and it’s not even close. Like literally, no contest. The prices are generally what you would come to expect for fine dining (at least for the mains - the apps and salads are very reasonably priced), but the portions are generous, the ingredients are fresh, and every dish packs a flavourful punch. The vibe is wine bar chic, and the staff and owner are incredibly friendly. A lot of people in Kingston tend to gravitate downtown for fine dining, and those people are missing out. I consider myself pretty picky/ judgmental when it comes to food, and the restaurant has never disappointed me.

On our way back home we stopped by Kingston to grab a bite at Greek Islands. We really enjoyed our food. It took about 45mins for us to get our order but the server served us another bread and greek salad meanwhile (and she did not charge us for the second round of bread, first round was complimentary - so sweet of her). Overall we loved this restaurant. Worth stopping by to eat good food.

It is a good place, and the menu is well-priced. The food is not as expected, but the atmosphere is excellent. I recommend their tzatziki with bread. I also had Chicken souvlaki, but wasnt impressed how chicken was cooked.

First time here and it was amazing! Our server was fantastic, the food was incredibly delicious - we five had the lamb shank, lamb chops and shrimp, chicken coteleta, steak, and fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. All excellent. The atmosphere was wonderful with the murals, the decor and the set up. Highly recommend this place if you haven't tried it. We will definitely be back!

Very disappointing. I don't know where the rest of my food went but the servings were SO small. Rice, veg and potato all over cooked and mushy. Calamari had good flavour but 100% not fresh and authentic. I got 8 small loonie size pieces. 8. That's it. Salad was maybe 1/4 cup serving. Very small portions great maybe for a senior lunch? Paid over $30 - unfortunately with all the great restaurants here that can deliver more with fresher food and the same prices I will not be back..

Soup and salad were great as was the dessert. Unfortunately the stuffing was very dry and had little taste. The turkey was generous portion. Gravy was good we asked for extra and it was given at no charge. Vegetables were also good nicely al dente. Service was good. Found it a little strange that the utensils and glassware were mismatched for the preliminary course. The wine glasses and utensils for the main meal did match.

10/10, this was the best restaurant I've been to in all of Ontario so far, the service in incredible and the tenderloin came perfectly as requested. Free garlic bread and got a free chocolate strawberry as dessert, would certainly recommend visiting the Kingston location if you have a chance. Beautiful building and fireplace. Expected it to be an arm and a leg but only cost us $182 for lobster and crab spinach dip starter, filet mignon, rack of lamb, and a bottle of Valpolicella. Will definately be going back again.

We celebrated my parents 61 wedding Anniversary and we could not have gone to a better Bistro. The food was absolutely fantastic, the service was top notch and ambiance was perfect. It is pricy however you get what you paid for. It was definitely worth every penny.👍
