Over all a higher priced menu for par seafood. Reservations are recommended, and not after 5pm, even though they take them much later. After that time half or more of the menu is unavailable, and when it does arrive it will be cold. Atmosphere however is sprinkled with great waiters and helpful hosts, in spite of a low lit dining area. After all is said and done with €200.00 spent on 4 adults, you're left wondering, what was better, the bread or the water?

Had a lovely dinner in here. The food we ordered was amazing and all the other dishes coming out looked fab as well. Wanted a taste of everything. Will definitely be back to try some of the other food. We visited on a Wednesday evening and we booked a table well beforehand. Definitely recommend booking as it's such a busy spot and easy to guess why. Lots of people being turned away as had no booking. Johnathan served our table and he couldn't have been nicer. The whole atmosphere was just lovely. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ all the way. And I can't forget the cocktails. Espresso Martini and the spicy Margarita was to die for.

Everything was delicious, but the dosos had a bit of a frying oil taste, but when I skinned the salmon it was good. I would prefer baked or steamed salmon. The service was fast and good. I asked for some changes in my dish, everything was done without problems.

Cosy resturant with mouth watering seafood . We had tempura prawns to start , black sole on the bone and paupiettes of black sole stuffed with crab for mains and baileys cheesecake for dessert. Great friendly service.

First night in Killarney, just 50 yards down from our Bar and B&B. Wife ordered steamed mussels in a wonderful cream and wine sauce. Best tasting mussels EVER! The sauce could be a soup unto itself. They offer 3 kinds of fish for their fish and chips. At Jonathon’s recommendation, I had the hake. Heard of it but never had it. HAKE YEA!!!! Delightful light and flavorful white fish. Later I found out Quinlans has their own fishing boats. I mean who has that? Their own fleet! Give me a break. Service from Jonathon and staff was great. Nice upstairs atmosphere meant for a quieter dining experience than most places.

Excellent lunch in the beautiful bar area. Our server was pleasant and helpful in recommending options. The guiness, or genius, poured clean and tasted great. The chicken, bacon pesto sandwich on ciabatta was delicious. The bread could have been eaten on its own. The lasagna was hearty and very good if you enjoy beef.

We ate here as a group of 4 and all ordered from the tapas menu. We ordered 3/4 dishes each, so between us, we got a wide selection of what was available. Everything was superb. Well presented, piping hot and tasted amazing. The staff we're friendly, patient, and informative with recommendations and such. We all had a cocktail with dinner, which was fresh and made in-house. I would definitely recommend this place, especially to a small group such as ours, and will be returning very soon myself.

On a whim we decided to eat out and we delighted we chose Vendricks. The food was great, the music quiet in the background with lovely stylish decor. I can highly recommend a meal or more here.

The Vendricks Restaurant was chosen for our dinner in Killarney and what a great choice. This restaurant stands out for its contemporary style and specializes in tapas, everything is made with local products and this was what we ordered: As a starter we chose two tapas: 1. pan seared scallop with lemon butter, star anise and fennel puree. 2. crab and shrimp in a pot, this came with white crab meat and shrimp, chives, orange zest topped with a spicy paprika butter and toasted bread. For the main course we recommend you try the seafood risotto, creamy and full of seafood as well as the Irish angus steak that comes with roasted tomatoes, mushrooms, mashed potatoes and french fries. Both dishes were prepared to perfection and full of flavor. For dessert we recommend the lemon crème brulee which is the sweet and refreshing finish you need to end a great dinner. Everything was delicious and apart from the place and the excellent food we loved the great attention of all the staff. 100 out of 100 everything about this restaurant.

This is a very nice pub but can be very busy at times, but the food is excellent and a great choice. I love the food and a few pints here. It's very close to the town centre. So it is a great place to eat and drink. And I always stay in the international hotel long side it which is joined together

I visited this bar and restaurant 3 times in the past month, the first time for food in a group of 4. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. The second and third times were just for drinks but once again the staff were very friendly and the service excellent.

After a bad dinning experience in Dingle the night before,we have stopped in Killarney for dinner at Hanngans. My faith in good service has been restored.. An absolute top notch service,staff very attentive, couldn't do enough to make sure we were happy. Food was perfectly cooked, prices were extremely decent for the service offered. Home cooked bread it's out of this world!! Will definitely recommend this place and we will definitely come back. Well done to everyone, 5 stars all the way..

We loved this place. It's close to everything in town. My room was very small, but quaint and well appointed. The restaurant was good and the breakfast was very nice. During our stay it was Very hot, though and my room was an oven. There was a fan provided, which helped!

Great location and big parking lot. Service was okay and efficient, but unpersonal. Rooms are nice but nothing special for the price. The breakfast unfortunately was disappointing for such a highly rated restaurant. Not much selection at the buffet and only ONE choice of warm breakfast (i.e. two poached eggs on half a slice of toast each). Ordering another warm breakfast was denied.

Was very happy with my stay here. The beds were super comfy, the breakfast was great, and the service was excellent. The location is perfect, and the rooms are quiet. Excellent balance between price and quality. Rooms are a bit old...the most notable problem was the toilet, which took many flushes to clear.

I was very much looking forward to dining here and my online reservation was confirmed. We arrived to be told we needed to enter through Uptown and were seated. The menu was not the food advertised for Secret and we were told that is the only menu and that Secret had not been open since Covid. We left and had a nice meal at a nearby Italian restaurant. Why cannot a business monitor its advertising? And why are there ads in the window currently advertising the food and buffet?

If you need to eat gluten free, this is a great place. They have fantastic food and are safe for gluten free eaters. The gluten free apple pie is the best thing on the menu. It is spongy, light and more like a pastry. The best main courses we had were the beef stew and cottage pie Shepard’s pie). The turkey stuffed with ham, Hake, and burger were also great. Veggie soup and Caesar salad were great starters. Great service. They don’t take reservations so you may have to stand in line during the busy times. It is worth the wait.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere! Our server was very attentive. We ordered the deep fried Brie (we gobbled it up too fast to take a picture) and the Guinness stew. Both were great, but the stew in particular was incredible. I highly recommend this place!

Great service, food and atmosphere. Wait staff helped us pick our choices through personal recommendation. Lamb shank was tender and flavorful. Cottage pie was exactly as you dream of it to taste. The appetizer Aran Iasc was a spectacular treat. Best meal of our trip!

The food was delicious, I highly recommend the Lamb shank! The Irish stew and the desserts (Apple pie and Chocolate brownie) were very good as well. Service was also great and we enjoyed the traditional atmosphere.

Had the stake medium rare and it was soggy and horrible as it was placed on a ton of onion which caused it to get soggy and cold very quickly, But I did eat all my of my stake because I was very hungry but it was not worth the money, other than that the chips was excellent, nice cold drinks and the staff was well trained and very attentive.

My fiancée and I were heading to the INEC for a show and stopped here for dinner beforehand, it was definitely a restaurant I wanted to try out in killarney as I've heard nothing but good things about this place and I must say now I know first hand why! We were welcomed at the door by a lovely girl who asked us had we a booking ( We did not ) said that's no problem table for two and took us to a table, our drinks were brought to the table straight away with the menu's, very relaxed setting no rushing knew when we were ready to order, we both went for the soup of the day which was lovely Tomato soup & a small fresh roll, for the main my fiancée went for the Chicken Maryland which was served with chips, garlic butter, bacon, batterd banana & pineapple and also a side salad which had the nicest dressing I think we've ever tasted! I went for the breast of chicken supreme served with mashed potatoes fresh veg & gravey absolutely gorgeous! We didn't have time for dessert as we needed to get to the show, even though we were so full from the starter and main I think it might have being a struggle lol we will try it out next time for sure! Staff very nice & professional, food portions generous & price very reasonable! I would recommend this place too all , definitely worth a stop if you're in killarney. I'm looking forward to going back already 👌

Best meal I had in Ireland, on trip from Dublin, Killarney and Cork, we had some great meals but this was by far the best. Shout outs for the lamb and kids pasta! The prawns were also an absolute winner. Service was good however we had a waiter change due to it being the end of her shift. The chefs here are most definitely worth their weight in gold.

My friend had the BBQ short ribs and I had a salad and the seafood chowder. Everything was delicious. The meat just fell off the bones a and was a juicy and flavorful. The chowder had a lot of seafood and was also delicious. The service was great. I definitely would go back again. Sadly we’re only in the area for two days!

We ordered our food, but the table that came in after us actually finished their food before ours came out. The staff were very apologetic about the wait, said it was some mix up in the kitchen. My husband ordered the mixed grill and was very happy with his choice. I ordered the fish and chips, I was very disappointed as the fish batter was very greasy and hard, I had to remove the batter, and there really wasn't much fish left to eat after that. Couldn't recommend the place..
