Luna never disappoints! Enchiladas Rojas de queso fresco is one of my favorite dishes to order. It was my sister who ordered the mole and I ordered a homemade "limonada" while my sister ordered a piba colada minus the alcohol. Chef Mari is an amazing chef and Natali our server was very kind and attentive.

Susan was very friendly and helpful with recommending vegan dishes for my party. I had the vegan gorditas with poblano peppers and cheese and the other with vegan chorizo and potato. They were so good, especially the handmade tortillas because it had such an authentic flavor. My wife had the vegan enchiladas with chorizo and potato covered with salsa verde and cheese. She loved it! We have had a hard time finding great vegan food while visiting family in Chicago, so we were so happy to have found this place. Also, as a Mexican from Texas, this food tasted like food my grandma and my tías would make, and they aren’t even vegan. Oh, and don’t forget to try the vegan Horchatas! Made with rice milk and oat milk, they were amazing! I can’t thank them enough because some of us were getting hangry lol. We will have to come back when we are in the area.

For Cinco de Mayo 2023, I ordered a vegan burrito for takeout. They were almost done with it by the time I got there. Paying for my food was a little bit of a slow process because of a language barrier, as not all of them knew English and I’m not fluent in Spanish at the time of this review. My burrito was so good though. I enjoyed every single bite and it honestly tastes even better than the veggie burritos I normally get from Chipotle. Will definitely return as a customer, but will most likely wait until I know more Spanish, so that the process of me coming and going from this place will be quicker next time. Might have to try their vegan enchiladas.

Great vegan options! Yummy drinks! Nice big place ☺️ The server was very friendly and enthusiastic about the vegan menu! I had the red enchiladas with vegan chorizo and papas. Everything was so delicious and flavorful. Also recommend the empanadas! Pulque was also delicious 🍹 will definitely be going back soon!

This is my favorite Mexican vegan restaurant. They have regular meat options and vegan options. Everything was very flavorful and authentic right down to the salsa. Homemade tortillas were perfect.

Friendly atmosphere and good food , fast service. we asked for gluten free food and they knew what it was! When I visit Joliet to meet with my good friend, we always stop at Vela's for lunch. Is it the good food? Yes! Is it the friendly, but professional service? Yes! Is it the kind of place where you can just relax,spend time and not feel rushed with friends or family in the warmth of an enjoyable restaurant? Absolutely! The cost of lunch, also makes it a practical choice for families and friends to enjoy. You know I love it so much, that I'm going back tomorrow.

Loved everything about this place. Came in after a place down the street closed their kitchen and I’m glad it did. The food was delicious, the bartender serving us was fantastic…she literally couldn’t have been better, and maybe best of all the ambience was beautiful (and very clean). Will be back!

This restaurant is very underrated! The menu is very expansive and has something for everyone. I got a side salad and steak Diane pasta. The food was very tasty and the portion sizes were large. Service was fantastic as well, we were seated quickly and the staff explained the menu well with prompt service. Would recommend this place for a casual night out with friends or a date. Price range per person with drinks is $25-$50.

Came here once and haven't had much other food then pizza and tacos on the east side of Joliet, but then tried there BBQ burger for their $8 burger Wednesdays and hit the spot! Outstanding fries atmosphere and service as well.

We enjoyed our food here in December. If there is a show at the theater up the street, this is a hoppin' place, but I can't speak to other nights during the week. The service was good and the food was enjoyable. A quick walk down the street to the theater, and close access to parking garages.

recent experience at this restaurant left much to be desired. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that the service was subpar. The hostess seemed disinterested and failed to greet us with a smile. Once seated, it took an inordinate amount of time for a server to acknowledge our presence. When our server finally arrived, they appeared rushed and disorganized. We placed our order, but it felt like they barely paid attention to our requests. Throughout the meal, our drinks were left empty, and we had to flag down the server multiple times just to get refills. The food, when it eventually arrived, was lukewarm, and some items were clearly not prepared as requested. The lack of attention to detail was evident, as our server failed to bring the condiments we had requested. Moreover, the general atmosphere of the restaurant was chaotic, with servers rushing around without a clear plan. It was difficult to have a conversation due to the constant noise and commotion from the kitchen area. The check was presented without asking if we wanted dessert or additional drinks, and it felt like the staff simply wanted us out of there as quickly as possible. Overall, the poor service at this restaurant overshadowed any positive aspects it may have had. It's essential for the management to focus on training their staff, improving communication, and creating a more pleasant dining experience for customers."

My first time here. Very nice inside. My food was ready when I arrived. Food is photo perfect. Everything tasted good. Sandwich was tasty. Fries had great flavor. The wings where crisp and delicious. Can’t think of one complaint. Even gave napkin’s and condiments with out having to ask for it. I highly recommend.

My boyfriend and I came here after driving around looking at Halloween decorations. We were not disappointed! Rebecca was amazing and kind, very attentive. Food was amazing and delicious, and the atmosphere was nice. Such a big place! We live in Chicago, but this place is definitely worth the hour drive and will be back again!

I love this place! I haven’t been here in so long, but my sister and I decided to stop by for a couple drinks since we were in the area. The service was immediate and friendly. Our waitress was at our table quickly. We got the pretzel bites & some fries (appetizer food since we were going out to dinner) and it was exactly what I needed. I got the tequila sunrise and wow it was delicious (I am picky with cocktails, but this was perfection). Also, you’re able to pay online with apple pay or Google using a QR code on the receipt which was very convenient & simplified the process. I’ve been here in the past, and it’s always been good food, good drinks, and good times. They have a million TVs and a backroom for game days. It’s a true sports bar. Prices are fair as well!

Really nice place to go for lunch, but it was a bit on the pricy side but over all ger food with a sports bar theme. Servis was outstanding, and the food was fresh. However, the pasta was slightly overcooked for my taste. I would come again and try something else, and it was a great dining experience!

The mini sliders of brisket were wonderfully tender and seasoned. The chicken sandwich was also very good. Drinks specials and the music playing throughout the restaurant area was not too loud, making it nice to hear, but nice for conversation.

Very consistent food and service like any other Red Lobster. A good location also right by the mall. We had flounder, shrimp, lobster, crispy green beans and fries (which were described as sea salted but they really were not). All in all, good decent Red Lobster meal that you would expect.

Red Lobster is one of my absolute favorite restaurants. Their menu selections are just amazing. No matter what I order, I am always delighted with my meal . Joliet RedLobster is a good location out of many. Servers are also great and always efficient, happy, and polite. Some of my favorite entrées are Ultimate feast / Rock Lobster & shrimp, Bar Harbor Lobster Bake. For starters, I highly recommend the Langostino Lobster-Artichoke & seafood dip . My favorite side dish is Brussels Sprout, baked potatoes 😋

THEY HAVE THE BEST GARLIC BREAD I HAVE EVER TASTED!!!!! I would go back in a heart beat! I went for the very first time by myself in the beginning of this month and loved it! I can’t wait for the next time I’m able to come back! The service was great too! I got my food in less than 10 minutes and I ordered a fish and French fries! Which made my visit all the more satisfying!!!

I’m giving my review off of todays meal. I got shrimp and lobster tacos and a Caesar salad. I ordered by app. I asked for it be ready at 4pm got there at about 4:04pm. Was told be out shortly. I sat and watched till 4:18pm. Finally my food ready. Get home and take a bite it cold. I heat it up. Here is opinion about the shrimp lobster taco. Where the lobster? If it was in there I did not see or even recognize it. It would of been really good if the shrimp was not fried. The huge fried shrimp would fall out of the tortillas. I would eat the shrimp then eat what left of taco. If it had not been fried this taco would of been amazing. Salad is good and biscuit too. Giving a 4 cause of the not so speedy food delivery and falling fried shrimp. I have added so past photos of previous meals at this location.

Review Date: October 27th, 2015 A more delicious Arby’s, but stuck in the 90’s. I had completely forgotten about this place since the one near me shut down while I was a kid. But then a friend mentioned one when I discussed going to Joliet. Man, talk about a trip down memory lane. I don’t remember much about Rax from being a kid. But the interior was exactly the same. At least the one I was at hadn’t been updated since it probably first opened. So that was a bit of a blast from the past as memories went from non-existent to somewhat blurry. On to the food. I don’t quite remember what I ordered, but I do remember getting the BBC… and loving every single bite. I actually debated going back up and ordering more as it was that good. I even debated getting it the next day, too! Had the interior been a bit more updated, it would’ve gotten a solid 5, but it’s hardly a distraction when you have delicious food to devour! As rare as Rax may seem these days, if you happen upon one… check them out!

Someone told me to try this place. So happy I stopped in. It’s just like Arby’s but it’s got more flavor. The BBC sandwich was really good. Chicken tenders were really good as well. They have other things like potato skins and baked potatoes. This is one of those hidden gems that people tend to pass up. Really hope more people stop in and discover how good it is. Places like this are a dying breed. I’ll for sure come back!

I grew up in Joliet and we came here often. I enjoyed the Uncle Alligator meals as a kid. Whenever we are in town we like to come here. It is great food, much better than their competitor Arby's. No fast food chain has as good as the same type of thinly sliced beef and other meats, and its rare to find a baked potato in a fast food place and yours is way better than the others. Maybe one day if they haven't already they can bring back the lunch buffet. I used to love that. Wish you were a little closer to us, any chance at ever opening a location closer to Aurora. IL? Hope you are around for generations to come.
