So I'm pretty fussy when it comes to eating out so trying somewhere new, when it comes to spending quite a bit, it can be daunting. I needn't of worried. Service was excellent, wait times were quick, food was Brill, and the atmosphere was pretty nice too. I definitely recommend the squid, even though I don't like them ordinarily, weird I know, but definitely worth the try! Happy eating!

Stopped in after a long day of travel and mingling with coworkers. The restaurant was clean and decorated so beautifully. I was seated immediately and greeted by everyone with a warm smile. My ribeye was cooked perfectly and they are quite generous with their portions. Get the creamy Dianne for the steak and potatoes! My server was Tina and she was absolutely phenomenal. Between being personable and so cheery, she made my dinner experience that much more enjoyable. She even went out her way to ask my name. All around amazing time and I would recommend this place to others.

WOW WOW WOW!! It’s mine and my partners first time here and it’s the most breathtaking restaurant we’ve been too. The service was fantastic! Having assigned your own waiter and the layout of the restaurant was perfect! Our waiter was friendly and chatty! He was more than happy to help with any requests we had and gave us some amazing recommendations with drinks and food! We didn’t have to wait long for food and the the music was also very nice. The food was excellent, maybe the best I’ve ever eaten! You get what you pay for, for sure!The terrace was my favourite as you could see everything from where we were sat! The best thing, was that they had heated lamps to keep you warm which I find fantastic! We couldn’t have asked for anything better, it was the best night! Many many thanks to all of the staff who made us feel welcome! We will definitely be returning in the future!!

The restaurant has amazing views of the city and beyond, much more to see by day but also great looking over the skyline of an evening. They are very well organised and service is swift. Your waiter/waitress will introduce themselves and are happy to discuss the dishes with recommendations. The food is excellent though, a few more choices on all menus would have been great. Not a huge choice for vegetarians either but what my wife did have was delicious. I opted for steak, no complaints with the cut or quality. Side dishes were well accompanied The drinks menu is lavish and you are free to drink at the bar once you have finished your meal. Very trendy, very busy and a real treat. Be prepared to spend here, easily £60-£80 per head up but worth every penny.

We had a lovely time spending our date lunch here on a Sunday. Amazing view and great atmosphere with live music. Food portion is generous and delicious. The price is on the higher side, particularly their service charge of 13.5%. Probably would come again if there’s a special occasion.

We had a awesome night yesterday, it was our wedding anniversary, 20 stories has recently received an award for best restaurant in Manchester, my feedback/review for yesterday: Ground floor Entrance ; 2 professional very polite and serious handsome man, welcomed us and you start already to feel the difference of this place ;) Took the lift and same professional welcoming from 2 nice, well dressed ladies , very polite and smiling :) Had a drink on the bar as we arrived little bit early, bar was very crowded and I really was surprised how the manage to serve everyone! Respect!! Went than to our reserved table and had very delicious dinner ! Final: a BIG thank you to ROBERT! 🥰 he took very good care of us, I do much appreciate his service , so polite so professional, at this busy night he was like a butterfly 🦋 :) Everyone who worked there was top! It's easy to praise a restaurant when everything goes well . But the real test of customer service is when something is not quite right. At our recent meal here , my partner's steak was a little underdone for her liking ( even though she asked for it well done 😏) She was a little apprehensive in complaining, but the reaction of the staff and Maitre'd could not be faulted, I can't praise them enough . Overall the experience was very positive , the staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was great and the views over Manchester are always spectacular.

I enjoyed the food and theatrical experience of the preparation. It was nice to see the main cooked fresh, and nice they cooked my vegetarian main before the meat went on. It was tasty, but not amazing food. The service was attentive, and live cooking and chef kept us entertained. Expect to share a table if you are a smaller group of less than 6-7 people.

Teppanyaki Chinatown is located in the China Town of Manchester City. We ordered beef fillet, tiger prawns, mixed vegetables and fried rice. The waitress and chef are nice there. Price is reasonable. Personally think that the food is just a little bit salty. Overall it was a satisfsctory dining experience.

Lovely place, food looks great, but lacked flavour for me. The sushi was nice, I don't really eat sushi. Staff lovely and I like the idea of them cooking in front of you.

I love the teppanyaki Chinatown. The food is so nice and the staff are very polite and helpful. It's not big on some of the gimmicks like most teppanyaki places, like catching food in your mouth etc but no need for that, the food does the talking here. We usually get the emperor set meal which starts with a lovely soup followed by some sushi and a beautiful fish cake then comes the fillet of beef and duck along with scallops and king prawns which are my favourite, and the egg fried rice is so good. Im getting hungry just thinking about it. Thoroughly enjoy every time I go. I would highly recommend Teppanyaki chinatown 👍

We had a fantastic dinner at Gaucho celebrating a special occasion. The restaurant is elegant and top class, with a great atmosphere and live music. The food was delicious, especially the steak and the sauce. The presentation was beautiful. The service was impeccable, thanks to Marcello, who was very attentive, friendly, and professional. He made us feel special and even brought us a complimentary dessert with a candle for my wife. It was a lovely gesture that we really appreciated. We went Gaucho Manchester before Manchester City match with hospitality package. Their foods quality was much better than our expectation. We are living in South America now. We know Argentina cusine quality. So, we can say clearly Gaucho steak is amazing. The service and server were also excellent.

We went for a birthday meal, and safe to say the service was excellent and I honestly cannot critique it in any way whatsoever. The service from Marcello was nothing short of excellent, his recommendations was bang on the money. For starters we got burrata and Beef empanadas which was both sublime and so full of flavour, mains we got a sirloin 500g steak, and a wagyu burger which once again was excellent and not a bad word to say, even the sides was great, and did not expect the birthday cheesecake so thank you to the team for that. It might be pricey but it is definitely worth the money for the experience and quality of the steak and food in general.

Upon arrival, we were told that our table wasn’t ready and asked to wait in the bar. We decided to have a glass of wine while waiting, but unfortunately no one came to us during the 25 minute wait. Based on their reaction, it seemed that they forgot to inform us when our table was ready. The reception staffs could use some improvement. But overall food was great.

Let me start by saying, when the food arrived, it was delicious. The service was a bit off from the start - we stood in the doorway waiting for someone to notice us. Not a biggie but sets the tone. Here’s the thing, it was a small, perfect storm of situation against us…the first waitress wasn’t great. For example, when I ordered my steak she didn’t ask how I wanted it, wasn’t interested in our wine order. The wine turned out to be off - I tasted it and I should have called it then. But you know what it’s like - it doesn’t taste or smell so terrible that it’s obviously off but after half a glass you don’t enjoy it and realise. I know, middle class privilege- but when you’re spending your hard earned cash…We also got stuck behind a big table (it’s a relatively small joint) so our starters took nearly 30 mins to arrive. But when they did, delicious! Chargrilled tender stem broccoli and a ham hock terrine. As was the main course - Flat Iron steak and chips (with peppercorn source) and roast breast of Goosnargh chicken and, as was desert - chocolate, cherry and vanilla mousse. Our second server was charming and made up for everything. So, all in all, a mixed bag. We will be back to give it another go. Clearly the kitchen knows what it’s doing.

We had their express lunch menu and the food was excellent! We had squid+whitebait and pork belly for starters. The squid and little fishes were perfectly fried, the batter was light and crispy on the outside and the squid and fish were fresh and soft on the inside. I had expected the pork belly to be abiT fatty but it wasn’t at all. The pork belly was roasted to a perfect crisp and fat had completely melted off, leaving tasty crispy savoury bits. It was a delight to have it wrap-style in the fresh crisp lettuce coupled with the sweetness of the sweet thai chilli sauce. We also had the steak which was done to our liking and the unctuous bone marrow sauce was a perfect match to the meat. Service was quick and good, nothing more to want. Definitely a good place for a quick business lunch or if you’re just wandering about, perfect for a nice chatty afternoon escape.

Really enjoyed this one, the steak was absolutely amazing and all the sides came as a great compliment to the overall food experience. The service was remarkable and there is a genuine interest from the staff to provide the highest quality of service. Great atmosphere as well, you can see people enjoying their food and just having a good time. I genuinely couldn’t fault this place at all. Pricing wise, its slightly higher than places around but you get what you pay for, we will be back!

What a meal. Pricey but worth going as a treat. French dishes, beautifully prepared and served by courteous people who clearly enjoy their work. We ordered home made fois gras with glasses of Sauternes. Lovely texture and flavour. The house speciality - Vollaile 63 Degres (chicken sous vide to you and me) - was superb. The salmon was also excellent. A special mention at his point for the courgette muffins with tomato butter. Main dishes were accompanied by a Chablis. For dessert we shared strawberry soup. What a finish! Felt like bursting into the kitchen and hugging the chefs. But then I wouldn’t be allowed back - so took an Uber to Schofields instead…

Try hard to find any review with less than 5 stars. Good luck. From the minute you enter the building to have your coats checked, to the minute you pick them up again, you are in for a fabulous time. The service really is second to none, each member of staff look after you superbly. They are very engaging. Starting off with a cocktail (it was divine and everyone of my party who tasted it agreed) we were shown to our table and Ryan explained in detail about the menu and the cooking of the meats etc. I had the potted bacon with Yorkshires to start followed by sirloin steak (fantastic pepper sauce) and the triple cooked chips are from heaven. Maple tart to finish. All I can say is its a fantastic dining experience and I'll most certainly visit again. Yes it is expensive but you get what you pay for. A great night.

Best Roast Dinner Both the food and the service was exceptional. This has to be the best Sunday roast in City Centre. We got the beef rump roast with all the trimmings. It comes with biggest Yorkshire pudding you’ll ever see ha. We also ordered celeriac mash and sausage, stuffing and mac n cheese for sides. It was more than enough for the both of us. As for the service, it’s 5 star, the staff are super friendly and very helpful. All in all not too be missed

Would defintiely go again, the staff were incredibly lovely and engaged in conversation as well which was nice. I was recommended the sticky toffee pudding beforehand and I can see why. Depth of flavour in the sauce is incredible. The pork belly starter was also really good, the balance of Asian flavours was spot on.
