Its not easy to search for a good cafe in alpine town and we stumbled upon this little place. While it didnt look particularly big from outside (one may even miss it if u dont look carefully enough), the cafe leads into a cosy and beautifully furnished place. A big cake selection greets you and friendly servers gestures to an available table. There is more seating behind but tables at the front has a good view to the mountains. Nuggets, coffee and cake were all good, absolutely a great place to relax and dine comfortably. Recommend!

Unbelievable. We were heading from Germany to Italy and came to this restaurant a bit late, when the kitchen was already closed. We were hungry and agree just for a portion of a warm soup. The Chef allowed to order from the menu: we got tasteful spaghetti and tomato soup and even parmezan as a small bonus. Warm and fresh food. The waitress was very kind and helpful while choosing a bottle of wine, friendly and well mannered. Benevolent atmosphere, stylish glamour interior design impressed bc it's quite unusual for such a small Alpine town. Excellent experience, definitely added to my favorite list. Can recommend.

This is overall really nice. The place is cozy, the service good and the food and cake is aswell. Maybe the best place in town. Will definitely come back and recommend you go.

We felt being at the right place after a day in the mountains. Cozy outdoor seating, a large menu with local but also 'standard' dishes and a friendly, fast service. Salad was excellent, our Schnitzels and french fries tasted delicious and authentic. The desserts were nicely prepared but the tastes didn't really thrilled us. We would come back anytime!

So good we came back twice in a single weekend! Honestly can not fault this restaurant! Not the best pictures as I only remembered after we had started eating BUT the food was too delicious to not dig in immediately. I would’ve liked the Heuriger Schnitzel to be breaded but it was still v delicious, especially with the gravy.

My partner and I recently stayed in Ellmau and visited this lovely restaurant. From the moment we entered we felt very welcomed and the level of service throughout the dinner was excellent! We both had a 3 course meal and the quality of food was fantastic. I can highly recommend the Safran spaghettini which were delicious! The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated and had a very warm and cozy atmosphere. I can’t wait to return next year!

Went here for lunch after finding it on google. I was a bit unsure at first because after a few reviews it was something more chic. But the food and the menu looked good, that's why we came here. We were in hiking gear and rather a bit disheveled by the wind. We were greeted very nicely and were able to choose any table. Were served very quickly and in a friendly manner, continuously. So I can't confirm that with the snooty service during our visit. We had the fries with truffle sauce. Fries were a bit too greasy and also fried too light. There was certainly truffle oil in the truffle sauce. Had this intense taste from the oil in my mouth all day. It is often frowned upon in gastronomy to use the oil. Then you'd rather have a less intense taste for it, of course. Well, let's continue with the schnitzel, unfortunately too thick for my taste AND way too greasy again. There was definitely not enough put on a paper towel. The pancake soup was very tasty. Fingerprints on the edge of the plate should always be avoided, but unfortunately this was the case here, especially in a slightly more upscale restaurant. All in all we won't be going back here as there is just so much choice and we weren't quite won over by the food. Because even if it's just a "quick" lunch, good preparation should also be important here. great service

Great experience! Really delicious food and the best Kaiserschmarrn. This is fluffy, caramelized and totally delicious! It's expensive, but worth every penny. The staff is super nice and accommodating and you sit very nicely on the terrace with a fantastic view

I drove from Innsbruck to Ellmau today just to go to this place and it was closed. Google said it opened from 14h. Wildkaiser website said it was open from 9h, and that the timetable is valid until october/23. Fabels website wasn't opening. I thought at least wildkaiser would be updated as there is packed with tourists. Please update the information! It was very disappointing.

Good place after skiing for drink and fast eating. I was there twice and ate hamburger with fries (very good) and kebab sandwich (quite OK). There was the DJ and the atmosphere was nice. I can recommend this pub :)

Stopped for a quick beer before going on the chairlift . My friend and I ordered a beer and coke. He had a small snack (candy) from his bag , and the lady asked him to take it away ... Ridiculous request. And we left angry. Not coming back .

We came here for dinner with our 4 year old daughter on the off chance they had a table and they did. We had a lovely table outside in the sunshine next to the children's play equipment and overlooking the meadow. The food was great, and the atmosphere was lovely. As adults it was fab to be able to enjoy a beer and relax as our daughter happily played.

We stayed here for a week to ski and the place is great. Very nice staff and about 50 m to the nearest surface ski lift. Next you can go down the slope to reach the main gondola. Rooms are clean, nice and quiet. We had a 2 person bedroom. Breakfast was very good with a variety of bread, toppings, yoghurt etc. We’ve also had dinner in the restaurant which was also spot on. Authentic Austrian dishes at an affordable price. We would defenitely recommend staying here and we hope to come back another time in the future. Keep up the good work!

I loved this place. Very nice traditional atmosphere and menu. Family is mentioned a lot in the menu and it is very easy to read. The food was absolutely delectable and homemade, i truly savored every bite. The customer service was very friendly and very fast. I would definitely recommend going here if you ever happen to go to Ellmau.
