What a hidden gem this place is my two adopted aunties come here most Sundays and love it … so I had to try it Quieter than usual but service and food was superb Highly recommended I had the King Prawn spaghetti which was yum 😋 and what a pleasant surprise when the bill came 🤩

We just popped in for a late lunch after a long day of walking. The atmosphere was very welcoming and we could already smell the delicious food from outside. Menu was varied and prices were very reasonable. We ended up going for the calamari starter and both of us had the chorizo and kingprawn tagliatelle as our main. The food was absolutely stunning!!! Ameni was a gem and she's taken care of us all the way, thanks again for making our afternoon special! ❤️ Lucie & Oszkar (Manchester/Brighton).

Started working near to this restaurant last week and tried it out the first day. We all go back everyday now. The food is amazing. Its not expensive for what you get and the owner and his son are so welcoming. I cant rate it high enough!

Updated Wonderful little Palestinian restaurant in the heart of Bolton Town centre. Really friendly owner and delicious food. Really worth eating in and also has takeaway facilities. The baklava was amazing, soft and crunchy and not too sweet. They do have a service for baklava gifting too. Went back again, this time was not so impressed, for the price the portions were tiny, the speed at which the food came was really slow and some us were just sat whilst others were eating for nearly 20 minutes. We did nor get the breads or the salads and had to ask and the taste of the dishes were not the same as the first visit. They had changed considerably. Still friendly but for the market and the position, to get the footfall need to change the portion sizes and the consistency in the taste and dishes.

I review restaurants regularly and love to support local small business. I went to this restaurant today, friendly enough staff, the older male was particularly overfamiliar with customers. Food was cheap enough my bill came to £8 only so I paid with £10 intending on giving the rest in tips. But the man just handed me a £1 back. I could see he was trying hard to talk and walk me away and out, and almost attempt to charm us so I wouldn’t comment on, he made comments about our appearances to flatter us. I don’t like the cheekiness of this. I don’t like dishonest businessmen who is making active attempts to deceive customers. Due to that and food being less than average I wont be returning. Also strongly urge all customers to double check their bill and the change they receive back. The whole experience just felt like a theatrical show to me.

had a very good experience went during lunch time, food was nice and fresh, off road parking might be an issue as we had to park on one of side road even that was with very limited space for free parking, but food and service was excellent, toilet was clean as well, staff was very friendly, porting size was not bad at all, as whole this small restaurant was offering every thing what required to earn five star.

Hidden away in the old market of Bolton is NKONO, a true orthentic taste of Jamaican/ Caribbean Street soul food, that simple can't be missed!! 😋.. Offering a wide selection of traditional dishes that are as orthentic as you can get outside of visiting the Caribbean. Form there orthentic Jerk chicken, Plantain & dumplings, ox tail stews or goat curry 🍛. The food is simple lip smaking with flavour.!! If you like a bit of heat 🔥 don't forget to try out there home made scotch bonnet hot sauce - not for the faint harted 🥵🌶.. Seriously, I can't rave about this place enough and have been visiting this little hidden gem for over 5yrs now.!! Not only do you get an amazing culinary esperance, but meeting Joe the owner with leave you with a lasting impression. With a louder than life personality and a loud booming voice!! Joe certainly holds a key presence in the market that's lieve you smiling.. So go on treat ya self to some orthentic soul food you won't be disappointed.!!! 😎....

Well we came to the market for the Great real ale bar "one for the road." Had a goat curry from Nkono. Ab Fab. Met the owner, what a lovely man. Described some of the other dishes and left us salivating. Never had Cameroon cuisine before but "please sir can I have some more.". Have to come back.

Always a very big and friendly welcome at this stall. Lovely guy that runs it, fresh food, tasty and very reasonably priced for the big portions. I love how much vegetables he packs into all his dishes and if you like it hot try the lovely hot paste he makes. We had the jerk chicken with rice, some chickpeas and the curry goat with rice and sweet dumplings.

I ordered peswaheri chapli kebab, food was fresh and taste good. Good value for money. It took quite a bit time (more than 20 minutes which is required for this kind of food) but guy on reception is good and kept updating the order status.

This place is amazing and the food is one of a kind, it’s very clean and the place I was sat on was very well organised normally you would find dirty tissue or unclean spoon in other restaurant but this place is absolutely clean and amazing love this and would definitely recommend it.

They used to be great service, but now they become a very snobby people, I believe they changed a owner new people run this restaurant now they don't care about customers very care less this week I been with my wife we sit down at the dining area the waiter comes to us told us we have to leave going to takaway area because dining area only for family with kids (children) which is doesn't make sense !!? so if you are a husband and wife or two person with no kids not allowed to sit and eat over their? So we had to leave going to different restaurants , I think they are not in need of customers very bad attitude from the owner

Nice place for a good meal. They have a decent variety of cooked chicken and meat. They chicken wing and lamb chops as very good. Lamb chops were a little on the spicy side but very tender. Steaks were cooked as asked and the burgers are very generous in size too. Plenty of seating and staff are very helpful and friendly.

We decided to try this steak joint out in Bolton ... they managed to fit us in last min to book a table. Staff were very good especially our waiter Munaf. The food was absolutely delicious ...its been a while since I have ate a steak which has been cooked to perfection!

Staff very friendly but service was lacking badly. Staff was too busy talking to other co workers and having a good time with them haha, like i understand it because i have worked in food industry in past and its nice to do that but customers shouldn't suffer from it. Was calling waiter for over 5 minutes while they was having a full on chat in the back till eventually one of them heard us. This isn't how it should be bros. This is the first time in years we didn't leave any tip, the service was non existant. Second reason for another star down is im allergic to jalapenos, we made this aware to the waiter and he said our burgers don't have jalapenos in them anyways. But its a good thing i checked before eating they were packed with jalapenos. Please check the picture added for proof. The other thing is the burger had no substance it was just full of chilly sauce. There was no nice taste to any of it and put really spicy sauce on it ruins the taste of anything. Please sort that out. The next problem was the glasses and cutlery was dirty. It seemed everything that could have gone wrong that day did. Maybe because staff was too busy having a good time to care about work or customers, please sort this out, as i run a successful food blog with over 100k followers this will be very sad for me to have to post this review but it is what it is. The lamb chops were amazing though i do gotta say, prices were not too bad either, i just wish you sort out your staffing issues and hygeine, and also make sure you take out stuff people are allergic too as stated as that would have been the worlds easiest lawsuit had i not checked burger before eating it.

Situtated on Church Gate is "Taste of Greece"!! A true Orthenic Family run Greek restaurant / cafè.. Serving an array of dishes giving ya a true taste of Greek cuisine right here in Bolton. I've personally been several times now working my way through the menu, and each time the food has been spot on! Perfect for a light bite or an evening meal. Can honnest say that the gyros are amazing, an as ortheinc as you will get outside of Greece 🇬🇷. So get ya selves down and treat your taste buds, You won't be disappointed!! 😋 Back again to taste Greece an honnestly its just spot on !! 👌.. got be out 2oth visit this year, Hooked🙈🙈😋🌯..

£7 for the smallest gyros, was OK nothing to write home about unfortunately, came here a while ago as I moved away and came back expecting good things as before it was double the size and half the price it was, couldn't taste the tzatziki sauce either there wasn't much on it, to dear for what you get. Thanks for your reply,, You seem to be quite smart with your reply to anyone who you don't agree with, I will go other places as you suggested thanks, I will also leave my comments elsewhere, I wished my euros or whatever it was the same size as the one you display with chips, the price of goods has gone up like everyone else deals with stop whinging. At least other shops fill the tray for £7 looks nothing like the size your advertising

I park up every Thursday afternoon while I nip into the old pastie shop for my mother. And the amount of people I see vist this establishment is unreal. So last night I placed an order, and can totally see and understand why he's busy! Do you ever eat food and your so stuffed but you want to eat more because it's so good 👍 then this is the place you want to vist. We had lamb and chicken cooked to perfection, salad that made you feel healthy just looking at it 😀 Seriously give this place a visit. Sorry there are no photos with this review, I was too busy eating 😅

If you want authentic greek food look no further. Honestly the best I have had, the Gyros were epic! Tastes just like the food I had in Athens, and absolute gem this place! And the owners are the loveliest people you will ever meet as well xx

After seeing the great reviews, I nipped in to try… lambburger yeeros and halloumi. Wow, so fresh, tasty and satisfying. A real treat for the taste buds! Such lovely people who run it too, certainly has the family feel and I can’t recommend highly enough. Thank you so much, it gives me a reason to actually go into Bolton town centre now! 🙏🏻
