Our waitress was very professional in her service, and food came in a good pace. We enjoyed all the dishes; each one of them was high-quality and delicious. I really recommend the calamari, seafood risotto, and scallops. They were amazing! The food are on the pricy side, but taste wise they are worth it. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great also; it’s perfect for family celebrations, date nights, and formal dinners. I would definitely come back again!

Celebrated our 21st anniversary here for dinner and it was phenomenal. Our server Jacqueline was exceptional. Mya and Sheri were very accommodating and welcoming and the manager Sarah frequently checked in to ensure our experience was great. Chicken Conchiglie was piping hot and delicious. We will def be back - was a wonderful experience.

I had an enjoyable experience at Augustino's. The atmosphere is clean, and the staff friendly and efficient. While the menu selections are somewhat small, the items we ordered were flavorful. My favorites were the calamari, artichoke and fontina dip, and the raspberry cheesecake.

Miss Lena was so awesome. We came here from Maryland, and to be honest customer service is awful there. Georgia has been nothing short of amazing with the people here being so nice, everywhere we go. This place was no exception. If you’ve ever been to First Watch, this place has a similar vibe but the food is WAY better. Very fresh and very tasty. I have a small suggestion for the smoked salmon toast, since the salmon is plentiful (which I love!) maybe lessen the avocado so it’s not as mushy. But it was so tasty though and I loved the pickled onions and greens!! I would get it again for sure.

If you're looking for weekend brunch and you haven't been here, you have nothing to loose. Reviews are going to mixed simply based off of experience. We came without reservation and were immediately seated upon requesting to sit outside. The service was relatively quick and the food was simply good. The deviled eggs are a great starter to the delicious options available here. The chicken here isn't over seasoned yet crispy and juicy. The waffles weren't the best I've had, but they complemented the chicken well! The mocha cold brew wasn't my thing either but I'm still glad be stopped by. We'll definitely be back.

One of many trips to this delightful eatery. Great for families or brunch dates. In and outdoor seating during nice weather. Recommend getting a reservation during busy days. We love this as a drinks and snacks place too if we aren’t up for a big meal as all the appetizers are delicious! The pimento cheese plate and the cinnamon roll are our favorites!

Just ate here for brunch a few days ago. Wait was long, for amount of people in the restaurant. My chicken was raw. Took food back & definitely didn’t reorder. Manager never approached me, I had to approach her, to find out if she knew what had happened & she had an attitude. Paid & left. Contacted the DM, when I got home & was promised things that have just not happened yet. Would definitely avoid a chicken oriented restaurant that would serve raw chicken!

We had a great time at Frog &the Hen today. Had a awesome waitress that suggested different food items from the menu. Natalie S. was very helpful and had a beautiful smile throughout our dining experience. These are some of the snacks that were suggested 😋. When our main food came we started eating and I didn't get a picture. The Nashville Hot wings were great and the Southern fried chicken 🍗.

I was introduced to this quaint, German restaurant many years ago... because of the lasagna! Their generous and hearty serving of lasagna keeps me returning when visiting from out of state. They didn't know it during my last visit, but the food and the service made a birthday dinner all I could've wished for!

I love this place. A lot of good memories and good food consistently over the years. I had their jagerschnitzel with spaetzle, and the German salad, with pickled beets, green beans and cucumbers. I also liked the small loaf of warm white bread that tasted like homemade, brought to me on a small wooden cutting board, even though I'm partial to their usual pumpernickel bread. Unlike my experience in Helen, Georgia which made me wary of schnitzel for years, this was delicious. My server Debbie T recommended German chocolate cake and it was heavenly. The server was spot on, friendly, helpful and prompt with the right amount of attention without being intrusive. The portions were generous and I don't mind at all having enough to bring home some. I hope I can come back again sooner next time.

This is a cozy German restaurant with authentic cuisine and great atmosphere. Well worth the drive from Bamberg. We had the German salad with pickled beets, pickled green beans and cucumber salad. So refreshing! 2 kinds of schnitzel and German potato salad. Everything was just as I remembered from living in Germany. Really enjoyed it!!!

I should have gotten the beef rouladen,🙄. The chicken Parm was okay but not as good as I remembered. Maybe it was an off night. We sat in the bar, the bartender, and our waitress Lauren, were both awesome. Always a friendly and helpful staff.

Ordered the wiener schnitzel served with ice cold green beans soaked in vinegar, cucumbers in some sort of white sauce with a side of beets & a very hard loaf of bread! The expensive veal would've tasted ok with a bit of seasoning IF the breading hadn't fell off! 2 stars just for the potato salad.... It was my first experience tasting German food @ this restaurant, it'll probably be my last if this is the sort of food they serve!

What a lovely restaurant! Our server Kevin was fun and his service was great. We ordered calamari and broiled oyster as appetizers. Both delicious . I highly recommend the broiled oyster especially. I ordered the drink spicy margarita , it was nicely curated . For entree, I ordered 1/2 chicken which was well cooked . For dessert, I ordered bread pudding . Creamy yet crispy . From start to end , everything was noteworthy and delicious.

I went there a little reluctantly, I had gone once years ago and I hated it. But I tried again, big difference! The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. It is hard around Augusta to find seafood that isn't all fried. My wife had the pork chop and it was equally Great. Cooked a 3-4 inch pork chop perfect is not easy but they did it. I had the Bronzini, Its European sea bass stuffed with crab . Yum. Service was was great, easy to make reservations on line. I recommend checking them out again if you were like me.

Nice vibes with good eats that are filled with a southern flair. The staff was very accommodating with our small group and helped us with splitting meals, recommending apps, and generally pacing the delivery of the different courses to optimize our experience. The beet salad and Johnny cake app were my favs. Highly recommend!

On our last night in Augusta, we had dinner at Abel Brown Southern Kitchen & Oyster Bar. We sat at a table in the bar area, as it is much cooler than the restaurant section. We started off with an oyster shooter, which was an oyster in bloody Mary mix and vodka. I have never had a shot like this, and I enjoyed it. They have a nice craft cocktail selection, and I had a Manhattan. For an appetizer, I had the She Crab soup, and it comes with a side of Sherry. It was fantastic. They had lobster rolls as a special. It came on a bun and comes with a side of perfectly cooked fries. Wow, was this good. For dinner, we ordered the scallops, swordfish, pork chop, and a side of brussel sprouts. We all shared our meals, and they were all delicious. To end a perfect meal, we ordered an Expresso Martini, which was so good. We were also lucky to have the best waitress in Peyton. She provided excellent service and she is very nice as well. Abel Brown is a remarkable dining experience, and I give this restaurant the highest review. They do everything right here, and I love everything about this place. If I lived in Augusta, I would eat here often.

Start with the broiled oysters... don't forget the rolls! It comes nice and toasty in a broth that is so good you need to tear off a corner of your dinner roll and sop up any remaining broth in the oyster. The Jamon appetizer is really a treat if you combine all the flavors onto the sourdough toast, including the pickled beets....truly an interesting flavor. We ordered the blue fin tuna on a bed or grits and pearl onions. We got it as the chef prepared it--rare. Its outer skin was crispy and seared perfectly with a salt and pepper crust. The inside was melt in your mouth tender. If you're a sashimi or poke fan, you'll love this. The halibut with potatoes and corn was excellent as well. I enjoyed the halibut buttery texture. You will NOT be disappointed if you order one of the chefs off-menu specials for the day. Service was EXCELLENT but I agree that the atmosphere does not match the cost of the food. Some of the staff seemed like they were dressed for a casual dining venue. I thought this was going to be an upscale venue, but it was pretty laid back. It didn't take away from the overall dining experience because, like I said... the food was great. We'll, be back with friends.

What an truly delightful evening at Edgar's. A few coworkers and I got together after work and someone mentioned Edgar's and we were delightfully impressed by the ambiance, the service and above all the FOOD!. chef David (?) Made a vegetarian dish for my coworker and we were all impressed by the presentation and flavors. We ordered the crab cake, lamb chops special(yum!) And the vegetarian pizza. We got a few drinks to pair with our meals. I wasn't a fan of the rum punch (tasted like something other than rum) but the Lemon Drop and Patron Margarita we got for the second round, hit the spot. Highly recommend the lamb chops special. It was PERFECTLY medium (see pics). Do yourself a favor and ordered a side of Mac and cheese! Yum! Our waitress Alyssa was so attentive to our group and made excellent recommendations for us to try since it was our first time. We will definitely be back since I'd love to try the steak or Sole or Salmon dishes. I'd also like to try the Oysters Rockefeller next time; The table next to us ordered it and it looked sooooo good!

I was in Augusta for a business trip, and we took a customer out to dinner at Edgar's Grille. Most of their ingredients are local, and part of your bill goes to educational programs at Helms College. I already like this place. They start you off with a delicious roll. For appetizers, we shared the Burnt Ends and Crispy Pecan Shrimp. They were both outstanding. For my meal, I had the Pan Seared Salmon. It had a fig glaze with toasted almonds and comes with sweet potatoes. I loved it. My only minor frustration was that the bar was running very slow. We would have ordered more drinks if we could. I did really enjoy the food and would recommend dining at Edgar's Grille.

Food was good, could of used a lil salt, waitress was very nice brung both my wifes appetizers but forgot my appetizer. When i reminded her after getting hangry she apologized and said coming right up. I said if the food is about to come please just cancel it. She said it wasn't but she was wrong, came right after and messed up my appetite. Will try again we were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary so that kinda messed my dinner up but they gave a free dessert.

Steaks were great. Beautiful presentation. Great bar and good drink selection. Try their rack of lamb. It is out of this world. Bartender, Tim, gave us a lot of good tips on local bars. Great Bartender to talk to.

First time eating here picked by my 14yr old niece and we had an amazing dinner. Our server was very attentive and the atmosphere was "Fancy" as she put it, lol! We ordered Shellfish & Grits, Shrimp Monaray Pappardelle Pasta to eat in and Smoked Gouda Mac & Cheese, collard greens to go. Looking at neighbors food as it came out I really can't wait to eat here again, even the caramelized onion and chive butter was delicious. I highly recommend this place wish there was one in Tampa (hint hint).

I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was so pleasantly surprised! Fun, laid back atmosphere, very fresh, delicious food, and friendly, prompt service. I had raw oysters, crab legs, an Oyster shooter, the house salad, and a side of fries. It was all excellent and so reasonably priced! And Sarah was a terrific server!

This was my first time visiting Beamies and I wasn't disappointed. The atmosphere is nice. They have an indoor dining area and a patio dining area. The service was fast and friendly. I had the fried catfish basket and got grits on the side. It also came with hushpuppies. The fish could've been seasoned a little more but it was still good. The grits were a little to salty. Somebody was heavy handed on the salt that day! My friend said her chicken fingers and fries were good. The food was also smoking hot, like they took it out the grease and brought it straight to the table. That's how I like it! Fresh and Hot!

While on a business trip to Augusta, my colleagues and I had lunch at Beamie's. The restaurant is in a good location in downtown Augusta. I ordered the Jambalaya bowl. This is a dish that I eat once a year. It was delicious. The price was only $11, and it was a generous portion size. I was impressed with Beamie's and would come back.

Today I went with the Chicken and Shrimp Gumbo vs the Black-eyed Pea Jambalaya. After adding my favorite restaurant condiment, tobasco. The Black-eyed Pea Jambalaya is the clear winner today. I must say that I am a little bias towards peas and rice. Our server was fantastic and all the windows made for a great experience.

Delicious seafood! Grilled shrimp were seasoned and cooked perfectly. The oysters on the half shell were so fresh and wonderful. Unfortunately our server was incredibly unnatentive and slower than molasses. I would go back for the delicious food though.

This place is a really nice restaurant to check out. The service was top tier and food was amazing. It is pricey but well worth the experience to try out. The server was amazing, food was brought out with in a timely manner from ordering. Drinks snuck up on me which I love. Will definitely be back. Oh also it’s on the second level within the hotel.

Took my wife and her friends here for dinner on a Friday evening in late October. It was still nice enough weather to sit outside. The atmosphere is amazing except for the occasional car revving its engines on the road and the smell of cigarette or cigar smoke from the far end of the porch reaching its way to us. The server was helpful and very pleasant. We tasted a few wines before settling on one and buying a bottle. The food was very good. We enjoyed our dinner immensely.

Lovely location to dine outdoors if the weather permits, but be warn the service is very poor for the quality of the dining experience! The food was delicious, but it’s hard to overlook the lack of any service. We saw our waitress 3 times where we had to ask other servers to take our order or grab our waitress. We are very easy guests, but know if you are pressed for time this is not the restaurant venue for you. Our reservation was at 12:45 and got there 10 minutes earlier and was accommodating quickly because there wasn’t many folks dining in the restaurant to start with for a Saturday brunch beside 3 other small groups. Overall, we’ve experienced this venue at the Partridge Inn, but will not be back.
