Crazy flavorful Chef
This place is a fantastic spot for street food lovers. I highly recommend trying their Paneer Kathi Roll – it’s an absolute must-try! The flavors were on point, and it was truly delicious. We also ordered the Loaded Puff, which unfortunately was served cold. However, despite the temperature issue, the taste was still good, showcasing the potential of this dish. Based on my friend’s recommendation, I tried the Dabeli, but it didn’t quite live up to my high expectations. It was decent, but I was hoping for something extraordinary. Perhaps it’s a matter of personal preference. Don’t miss out on the sugarcane juice while you’re there – it’s refreshing and definitely worth a try. The ambiance of the place is also pleasant, adding to the overall experience.

Slow service here. Tried their ice dish and vadapav and they were good. Their dabeli is delicious too but didn’t like the taste of junction special sandwich. Highly recommend their puff.. it was burst of flavours.

The reviews seemed appealing so I decided to order dinner. I got the chicken tikka masala and the bhindi with some naan. The food was delicious, not your typical corner restaurant where all dishes taste the same. The chicken had a delicious, aromatic, thick curry. The chicken was fresh, not stale. The bhindi was equally delicious as well. The owner Raj is very kind and provides outstanding service. Will def be trying more items from here.

Literally 6 small size pieces in large size of chicken main course dish. Seriously MAKHI CHOOSO !!! And charging 25 dollars with tax SHARAM KARO !!! And of-course so as the taste! Food was missing flavors and the gravy was so watery. NOT RECOMMENDED TO ANYONE. Instead of coming here spend money on a top class restaurant, atleast money spent will be worth!!!

If possible, I recommend placing your order well in advance before arriving at the pick-up only place, which is located in an industrial area. During my visit, I ordered Aloo Pyaaz Kachori, Aloo sabzi, and Masala chai. Despite there being only two people ahead of me, I had to wait for about 20 minutes for my order to be prepared. On the bright side, the Aloo Pyaaz Kachori was delicious and prepared fresh. However, I suggest avoiding the Masala chai as it lacked the authentic masala flavor and had a layer of froth on top.

Was craving some Mumbai street snacks so googled some places around the area and landed up here. They are located in a very industrial spot and is for takeout only as there weren't any seating spaces. They have a decent number of items on their menu and was excited to try out the Vada Pavs and Dabeli. They do have some pre-packaged snacks available for pick & go. The Vada Pav & Dabeli tasted average. The Schezwan Vada Pav wasn't great tho; was mostly chopped veggies in chilli garlic sauce - that's not schezwan sauce! Likely won't go here again as there are quite a lot of other places for better street snacks.

Wow!! This place serves the best Dhall Katchori in all of GTA. It was fresh and tasted delicious. I ordered an Elachi tea, Masala tea and Dohkla both tasted amazing. The aroma of both the tea was amazing and tasted great with right amount of sugar on them. Update 7/9/2023: visited Katchori house again after a long time was surprised by the additional menu options. I tried their Lilva Katchori for the first time and wow it was yummy with rich in taste. I am huge fan of their Dhall Katchori that was one of the reason I used to visit them and this lilva Katchori is amazing as well. Will surely come back to try new additional items on the menu. We had masala and Elachi chai this time as well, as always both tasted good. They are renovating and expanding the shop hopefully they add some chairs on the new setup for customers while they wait on the order or bring in a good dining setup.

I recently visited Kachori House that reminded me of my hometown's street food scene (Kota Kachori). The standout dish was their kachori, which brought back a wave of nostalgia. The authentic taste of the kachoris is bound to leave you satisfied and nostalgic. However, if you're looking for a place to sit down and enjoy your food, this might not be the ideal spot.

Very delicious food! Great variety of options in their menu. In addition to the regular items, they have some daily specials as well. The server was very polite and helpful. His customer service was great! The ambience of the restaurant is beautiful as well. We had visited in early August and a lot of folks were enjoying the patio. The interior is very nice and the lighting is not very bright.

We stopped in Brampton for dinner and found this great restaurant. It was more than we expected. The food was served in traditional copper bowls with it's own heating element to keep it warm. They paid attention to details. Go with the naan instead of the roti. You get more naan for the value. The curries had a decent amount of fish/chicken and it's not all onions and sauce like other restaurants tend to be doing these days. The service was good, the staff are friendly and just new to service standards. They were lovely but tend to focus attention on the back area more than the front. I will try to go to the back next time and update this review to determine if there was a difference. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant for a good Indian authentic fine dining meal. Our dinner consisted of the Dhabewali Chicken Curry, Fish Curry, 1 naan, 1 roti, and basmati rice. $70. Serves 2 comfortably.

I had my birthday party at a restaurant, but it didn't go very well. The food was just okay, and it cost a lot. There were a lot of flies buzzing around our table, and when we told the supervisor, she said it wasn't their fault. What was worse, some of the waitresses, especially one who looked about 30 years old, were not friendly when we complained about the flies. So, if you plan to eat there, be careful to avoid eating flies! I don't even agree to provide one star .I will add photos for proof. Moreover the washroom's were so dirty

Arguably the best punjabi restaurant in Brampton. Unbelievable taste, great presentation and comfortable seating. However, the service is a hit/miss. We visited at a not-so-busy time but it took forever for even water and pop (in disposable glass!) to come. Something the owners can look into. Otherwise, if time is your friend, you can have a great meal here.

Tries Amritsari stuffed kulcha and nutri kulcha. I liked the taste of both. Stuffed Kulcha was really delicious and crispy. Employees were friendly. However there was a heavy amount of oil in the nutri. Also, it took 20 minutes to get the order.

I Simply Love The Food, It is Fantastic, I eat here at least twice a week and can’t seem to get used to just how delicious the food is. We came to Patiala House tonight looking for some good Indian food... and man oh man, they did not disappoint!!!! The food was absolutely mindblowing! We ordered a stuffed kulcha with chole and malai soya chaap. Ravneet was serving us and she was super sweet, helpful and attentive. We will be BACK!!!!

Small place but really good and tasty food. No tangy or uncooked masala in the food, which is a great thing that I liked here compared to other joints. Considerable slowness on the service side but otherwise no complaints. Can get busy at certain times. Next time, I will mostly do a take out and avoid dine in. Overall 5 * for the food.

Food is amazing at this place. Compared to any other Punjabi restaurants at this place I have tried so fast. Must Try - Gajar ka Halwa , Aloo Paratha and best Chole Bhature. Incase you need spicy , you will have to mention them. Shahi Paneer and Garlic Naan and Roti were really upto the mark . Paneer was so soft and food was really fresh. Ambiance is average and service is bit slow. I feel they are understaffed. They serve Onion and Chillis along with food if you request. But must try.

We were traveling by on the expressway and wanted Indian food for lunch so we decided to give Taste of Punjab a try. We ordered two of the Veg Thali lunch specials with Butter Naan to go. The Dal Makhani and Channa Masala were great. The Channa Masala was a little spicier than we are used to but had a great flavor. The Naan was delicious. The price could not be beat.

We ordered Chole bhature where the chole was good but bhatura wasn’t soft enough. We ordered various parathas and they were delicious. But the pickle was missing from the paratha plates. The aaloo tikki was yummy. We also ordered daal tadka, Jeera rice, and chicken Kadhai. They were very good. We tasted mango lassi and plain lassi. Both are good . The masala tea wasn’t very good and felt like machine tea. Our waiter Navjot was polite and friendly

Went for dinner on a long weekend and the place was empty. We ordered our food at the counter and it came out to our table very quickly and very hot. The service was very good and Jay, our server, was very efficient and friendly. The restaurant was clean, including the washrooms, but the food was the best part. The food was amazing! It was fresh and flavourful with lots of different spices. They also had a self serve water machine. I will definitely be going back to try other items on the menu!

Saturday night 12pm we went and the owner himself was working there, checking on all customers if everything was good. He's a good man, you can tell. Food is good, okay kinda thing. Service is amazing, staff is super nice. The reasons I give 3 stars is - Quantity as per the price is very less, I felt. And the taste is not So so good. That way, it's an expensive restaurant, maybe can go once or twice a year... But don't think it is affordable for less quantity at that price. Everything else, lovely.

My family and I had come here for the first time. We had ordered some dishes that were suggested to us from the staff. The service was good, food came out quickly. The food tasted good and it all came out hot. We all enjoyed the meal as we ate family style. The only thing I would say is that the entrees came out before the appetizers. The ambiance was nice and the place was clean. They played appropriate music at a good volume. Definitely would come back!
