Super Friendly Staff. Food was awesome. We had the Yucca Balls, Empanadas, The Ultimate Loaded and A Huge Salad. The Margaritas were perfect. The Lounge is a great atmosphere as well.

Passed by this place numerous times without stopping. I always thought maybe it would be a bit too foofy or pretentious, but surprise, surprise, it definitely wasn't. You gotta check them out. They've got fantastic food, service, prices, and atmosphere! It was raining the day that my guest and I went, which was fine with covered outside seating. It was early/mid morning, and I was in the mood for breakfast, so I ordered the steak and eggs. It was awesome, awesome! Very flavorful and tender. The whole plate was great (and very reasonably priced as well!) I washed it down with a fantastic Cafe con Leche. We'll definitely be back.

So we all got some different items and shared - overall good flavor. Steak dish wasn't rhe best- our friends say the menu has changed so maybe ask questions before ordering if been there before. Yuca fries was done very well - chicken dishes all done well too. Ribs plater pretty good too actually came off bone really nice.

To be quite honest, I have to say that our plans were not to eat at this restaurant but the rain left us no other choice. Also, coming from Miami where there are so many good Cuban restaurants, I didn't imagine this restaurant in the small town of Deland, Fl was going to be good but the truth is that this restaurant surprised me. Very good Cuban food. The churrasco was at its point, the yucca very rich and the delicious avocado. Nice croquetas. The atmosphere is very cool and the service is excellent. Totally surprised by Chicas Cuban Cafe. Bravo to the chef. Looking forward to bring my Cuban husband next time. See you soon.

Excellent place. Food is delicious. We shared the sampler for two. We ate the whole thing. No leftovers. They need to get a new tea machine and have all their desserts available, not just flan. Then they get five stars across the board!

If you happen to be at Stetson University and are looking for a cozy place to dine, this is it. The El Trio I had was good. I found the plantain Tacitus to be too sweet for my liking. My expectation was that they would have a mix of both sweet and savory flavors. To be honest, the hibiscus tea is lacking in flavor. Perhaps some sugar and a dash of lemon to give it some flavor. I would return to taste the other items on the menu.

Great little tapas place in the heart of downtown DeLand. Our tapas selection and dinner was fantastic! The aspirins were my absolute favorite worth a side of the avocado sauce. The desert, however was just kind of okay. The molten cake was a little dry. I would definitely recommend getting the scoop of ice cream as an add on and just let it melt into the cake. The flan was also good but a little over cooked as well. Would still definitely go back to this place for some great tapas and dinner entrees.

I ordered the Nachos De La Vega. There were so many wonderful choices on the menu.mmit was difficult to choose. I chose the nachos because if you cannot make nachos then it's not worth coming back. Well, they hit it out of the park. The food to chips ratio was right on. The flavors worked well together and the spice level was mild but noticeable. I kept wanting to put Chimchurri sauce on the beef, but I am glad I did not. It would have negatively offset the flavor pallet. All in all, this fun little restaurant held its own and is going to be a weekend stop off for us. Our server Daniella was very kind, and had a smile on her face and she genuinely seemed like she cared that we enjoyed ourselves. Drinks never went dry and she was very attentive....that is a breath of fresh air regarding servers today.

All I have to say is WOW!! Had AMAZING food at this spot, in downtown Deland. It was nice to find somewhere that had vegan options closer to where I live. I had theplaintain soup (!!!), and the hibiscus tacos, which i added the jackfruit to it…. PHENOMENAL! My fiancé had the jackfruit quesadilla…just as wonderful! The melt on the cheese (on both items) were perfect… and we were pretty sure it was daiya cheese, but I could be wrong. Anyway, our server, Kailey (sp) was very attentive, completely helpful, and made our brunch dining experience even that more enjoyable/ We definitely have plans to return.. no question about it. Highly recommend

What a great place to go in and have a great time! Food quality is amazing and taste is 5 start! You definitely have to stop here and try their tapas!! Won’t regret!! We have the avocados Rellenos the Churrasco and the chipotle Salmon! Definitely coming back!

Wow, just delicious. We had the Cocky Joe with onion rings. The rings were melt in your mouth, wonderful morsels of fried heaven. The sandwich was equally as wonderful. The meat was tender and perfect, vegetables were clearly fresh and tasty. The picture does not do this sandwich justice. We also had the Bluto chicken sandwich with a watermelon feta salad. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. Unfortunately, it was just a little too fried, and the breading was a bit too hard. But, no worries, the watermelon salad was so flavorful and fresh, was just delightful. We drove about an hour to eat here and were not disappointed. It is a little pricey for a sandwich, but the quality is evident. Will definitely come back, and for sure will get the cocky Joe.

Finally stopped in to try this place for lunch today. I had the tempeh sandwich and my husband had the bean burger. Good vegetarian and vegan options. We really liked the food and atmosphere and the service was great. Two thumbs up!

Definitely a top spot here in downtown Deland, we loved this place, their food is so fresh and the creations are very special, and artesian, some of the dishes we had: Allicin wonderland burger, who's Wanda starter plate, the left hander with their home made vegetarian burger, side salad with the lemon vinaigrette was excellent. Brianna our server was amazing and so special, she made great recommendations of the menu and places near by, she is by far the best Server I ever had, & I've been to many many restaurants from South florida to Europe. Brianna besides having my daughters name has the most beautiful blue eyes, so charming and welcoming, she is definitely an asset to this awesome place. this restaurant is super casual & nice atmosphere. Rainbows and unicorns are welcome🌈🦄 We will be back! Thank you to all the staff for making our delicious food. By the way the prices are very affordable.

This place is cute. The food wasn't as flavorful as I was expecting. I popper burger with an impossible burger and no bacon. I was expecting an explosion of flavor, the components sounded good but I just didn't get the pop of the heat from the cheese and jalapenos and then the burst of berry to cool it off. It was ok, perhaps I picked the wrong dish? The place was a little hot so, that was a little bit of an issue for me too.

Been living in the area since 1989. I have heard many times how good this place is. Tonight we finally went to Bake Chop. The atmosphere is warm and intimate and a bit rustic. There are about 20 seats inside and 20 in the breezeway. Our server Ashlyn was great. I started with a Latte and my wife had Hibiscus tea. The Latte was coffee cafe quality good to the last drop. We ordered the BOULEVARD: 16 grilled chicken breast, herbed goat cheese, balsamic glaze, red onion, tomato, mixed greens on ciabatta, and tomato bisque soup. T-BONE STEAK / PORTERHOUSE: 38 / 42 grilled to order with a compound bone marrow butter and choice of any two sides (I orderedHoney Mustard Brussels and Local Squash Sauté) Both were very delicious. We were extremely please. The grilled chicken was tender and moist and very flavorful. The soup was as it should be. Delicious! The T-Bone was cooked perfectly, tender and full flavored. The two sides were incredible. Oh yeah! The lemon blueberry loaf was delicious and moist. The chocolate and peanut butter cheese cake was amazing. This place is a gem and worth the visit again and again. Don’t miss this place!!!

I've known of this place for the better part of ten years, and have finally stopped in for a bite. We decided on the "Chicago Classic" which is pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, and onions. Their menu lists this as "Deep Dish" but having grown up in Chicago and having eaten lots of pizza I would call this more of a pan pizza. We did order an app from the menu while our pizza was being cooked. We went with Chicago spinach dip, it was hot and flavorful the bread was thin and crisp, almost having a toasted sesame taste which was wonderful. From the time of placing our pizza order to being placed on our table was about 30 minutes. The sauce topping was chunky and slightly acidic but flavorful. The sauce did have a fair amount of onion, so if you don't like onions you might not enjoy their sauce. The crust was buttery and delicious. As you make your way from the crust towards the middle of a slice it becomes a bit soft, not the type of pizza you would pick up and eat. The toppings were delicious, especially their sausage which I would request extra sausage next time I order. On an overall scale of 10, I give Dobros a very solid 7 out of 10. Prices were very reasonable, pizza, app & drinks put our bill in the mid $30 price range. We left feeling full and satisfied.

Place is definitely cozy and super packed. Parking is hectic and limited, makes it challenging. They should consider adding outside seating...pizza was descent, red sauce bit on the sweet side. Bread sticks are pretty good. The lasagna was ok.

Tried Dobro's for the first time. Pretty good. No complaints. Ordered online for take out. Order was ready when they said it would be. The pizza, got a Classic Chicago and a Pepperoni. Both pretty good. Also got breadsticks and garlic butter sauce...this was ok. Not bad just not anything I'd feel I'd have to have again. All in all a pretty good experience.

Small parking area. Not really Chicago style. No stuffed pizza. They only have deep dish. Not the same thing. The Italian sausage was crumble. Not original Italian sausage. The servers were very friendly. They had good daily specials.

Decided to try this place out while in town for a class. I’m glad I walked in. The food was really good. The miso soup tasted great and was huge. Most places just do a small bowl this place does a big one. The squid salad was also very generous and tasted great. Finally I had the Yakuza roll and that was one of the best rolls I’ve had. My only complaint is that the Yakuza roll included asparagus even though it wasn’t listed in the description of the item so I sent it back and asked for it to be made without. But otherwise it was solid!!!

This was my first experience with Thai food. I was so excited to try it. And this place did not disappoint! The waitress was so helpful. Answered all of our questions, made suggestions and was super friendly. The food was amazing! I had the Drunken Noodles. I can't wait to try another dish!!

We wandered in here on a date in Deland, just to try it out. It was fairly empty, so it’s probably very busy at night. I had the Gouda burger, and my wife had the steak sandwich. We both enjoyed our food, everything was very well done. The fries were a bit soggy, but still good. It did smell a bit when we got here, although that may have been because the AC has not been on for a while.

We were in the area and decided to go here and it was a great choice. Prices are pretty high, but the flavors are so good. Definitely recommend the Gouda Bites. There are only 6 to an order but the taste of them is delicious. The sauces they are paired with also enhance the flavor. We also got the T.P.O Mushroom Chicken and the Southwest Blackened Steak Tip Risotto. These 2 dishes were amazing! The sherry wine cream sauce was delicious and both Risottos were excellent. The steak tips were cooked perfectly and seasoned great and the chicken was juicy. Our server was also on point with their service. Definitely will come back. Came back and tried the Sweet Bourbon Glazed Salmon. You can't go wrong with neither of these three risotto dishes

Well.... If your meeting friends for drinks and downtown DeLand nightlife, good place. 1. Atmosphere-great, good times, great service, tvs with games goin- good vibe 2. Food-had the pesto chicken sandwich..not much pesto flavor, chicken was probably frozen breast fillet, tough and dry. Now buddy had Black & Blue burger, looked fantastic. Fries are really good. Two in my party had mojitos, and they were very different, one very good flavor, the other very strong. 3.Service- excellent, server was on point, took good care of the party, no complaints. 4. Overall I'd give 3.5 stars Sum it up, cool location for cocktails and fun vibe. If your bar hoppin, stop in. Food? There's other places on the Boulevard to check out
