The whole staffs singing the birthday songs for her three times, unfortunately the video I recorded was unsaved. The restaurant is much more spacious after renovation. The private room is huge and comfortable, with elegant ceramic ware. Family enjoyed the various dishes, which were presentable, fresh and flavourful without being too salty. Service staff were attentive even though we were in the room. However, the entire dinner took too long, slightly more than 2 hours, until we had to ask for the Hokkien mee and curry, which ended up being served at the same time. Overall, recommended for important events and will return.

Their level 3 area has completed renovation, which is very nice. Love the new ambiance. Not squished pack like previously. Way more spacious and can accommodate more customers. Used to have to wait in a long queue, especially on weekends. Food standard is as good as it was. Only the service a little kelam kaput, because staff still not used to the new layouts and stuff. I was there 5 days after their reopening on the 3rd floor. It's best to call ahead and book to avoid unnecessary frustrations.

One of the best dim sum restaurant in KL! Quality is amazing and consistent every time. Service is good and attentive too. A few good dishes to try - siew mai, curry taupok, crispy dough rice roll, hokkien mee, yam puff, egg tarts, carrot cake, crispy roast pork belly. My daughter loves the fish balls too.

[got event ah?] 1) Overall - Chinese dim sum and stir fry restaurant, ok cleanliness, good service, limited seating capacity, food selection are dim sum, prawn, hokkien mee, siew mai, egg tart, porridge, char siew pau, chee cheong fun and many more from The Ming Room 名城酒家 2) stir fry flat noodle - soft and fresh noodle, great texture, rich in flavour, tasted good even just with simple ingredient 3) char siew pau - extremely flavouful, fluffy pau layer with intense mix of bbq pork and some fresh green, it was really good 4) stir fry lobak - flavourful, lobak was soft, great mix of ingredient 5) banana sesame ball - special, loved the mix and the taste, it was not as sweet, crunchy sesame ball with the mushy smashed banana, it was good, highly recommended 6) dim sum - overall was good in taste and fresh 7) stir fry mixed vegetable - tasted good 8) spice fried lotus root - this is however the least favourite, presentation was dull, tasted a little too much of spices, lotus root was fresh though

First time being here, food was 6/10, as some are pretty good, like the polo bun, the baked char Siew BAO, Siew Mai and the lao sar BAO (salted egg yoke bun) the rest I would said average and some below par, the radish cake definitely a no no! The noodle is too expensive! And portion is so small and yet charge so expensive. Drinks I like the yin yong, pretty good the rest are average as usual Abit pricey.

Dim sum here is tasty. Noodles quite unique and not your normal dry noodles. Service is very good. Music a little loud and can be a bit noisy due to the empty walls (the middle shop lot)

My 2nd trip within a week, wanna try more varieties with different friend. The Fried Yam Puff is my favourite - freshly friend and high quality yam. Another favourite is the Wok Fried Radish, only today bit too salty ! Overall love the Dimsum and hospitality.

Yun House is the Chinese pork free restaurant in Four Seasons KL. The decor is nice and has a lovely view of KLCC park. Dim sum is served for lunch and it’s usually one of my favorite. But somehow this time the food was a bit off. We ordered the deep fried Aubergine with cereal and this was a tasty dish. The seafood noodle was too starchy. The vegetable (choy sum) was overcooked. The Szechuan soup was very spicy, quite unlike what we had before. All of us didn’t finish the soup. We actually wondered if they changed the chef. We also ordered fried prawn roll and this was delicious. Service was very slow. Hope that Yun House will improve up to their previous standards.

Great chinese fine dining experience in KL, in the four seasons. Food is fragrant and well balanced. Outstanding dishes were the cereal aubergine and fried charcoal sesame balls. Restaurant is great for a date night if you are on date night try to get a table with a view! Service should be complimented, thank you for a great experience.

Best Dim Sum I’ve ever had! And I’m a massive dim sum fan. Highly recommend their Crab Xiao Long Bao (there’s nothing “xiao” about it), the fried carrot cake, the lava bun, and they had this nestum aubergine (gosh I can’t remember what it’s called but it’s the best veg dish I’ve had), their signature prawn cheong fun is fantastic too! Service is top notched as well! Very pleased with our visit!

Great service by Anwar. All the food he recommended was really good!!! It was my mums bday and he sang a really nice bday song for her. I really loved the brinjal, char siew puff, siu mai. One constructive feedback would be for kitchen to prioritise kids meals. It was the last dish that was served and baby was so hungry!

If you are looking for dim sum with taste of yesteryears in a nostalgic shop, this is an excellent place to savour delightful dishes at night (not many dim sum specialty shops are open for dinner or supper). Their fishballs (freshly made everyday with good amount of real fish meat) are amazing while Chee cheung fun is freshly made upon each order. Lo Mai Kai is a must try for its soft sticky rice texture with a tinge of ginger. More expensive than the common kopitiam-styled dim sum places but well worth the price. The place can be quite stuffy at times as it is only ventilated by a few ceiling fans.

We were very disappointed by the quality of the dishes they served. Stir fried dishes were warm rather than hot. Felt like the food been in the kitchen for a while to be served to us. We did ask kitchen to warm it up but still not the standard of Chinese food should be. Service was not attentive at all. Anyway this is my first and the last visit.

A quieter than usual dim sum place. Good when you need a restaurant for chit chat and discussion with halal dim sum. Most of the dim sum items I find it tasty. I like the one with spinach and chicken xiao long bao. Find it better than the one at Din. For dessert mango pomelo sago comes in very nice dainty bowl with cover. Classy.

Maybe it’s because I was hungry. Or maybe it was because it was really that good. But I find myself unbelievably liking pork- free dim sum. In contrary to popular beliefs - it doesn’t lack flavour and texture at all. So it really can be done ! I feel so happy that my Muslim friends get to try Chinese delicacies like this. We ordered the typicals: siumai, xiaolongbao, hargao, and custard bun. The crab soup was really refreshing, with real bits of crab inside which I could bite and taste. The fried rice is definitely a must try - pair it with sambal belacan and thank me later ☺️ Actually, eat it with everything. (other than desserts of course)

Premium halal dum sum and chinese restaurant at Starhill gallery. This Luk Yu has no connection to Luk Yu in Hong Kong. Deco is clean and simple. Seating is spacious. Service is friendly but lacks attentiveness. Food is ok, not too bad but nothing really special. Worth the visit for a quick meal without queue. I love the cutlery.
