The music. The atmosphere. The servers were EXCEPTIONAL. everyone was clapping, dancing in their seats, and having the time of their lives. And we went on a Sunday night. We stumbled upon it by accident and are so glad we did. Food was good! Better than expected for a bar.

The music was great! My salmon plate, however, wasn’t that great. Very basic vegetables & salmon with plain white rice. It definitely wasn’t worth paying $20+ for, and the portion was so small that I was still hungry and ate again at home. The service was super slow but the waitresses really did their best to make everyone happy and I appreciated it 😊 still a must visit!

Wonderful place to enjoy jazz music and delicious food. I absolutely loved the jazz theme of the restaurant as well! Staff were friendly and strict with overflow when needed. The menus and decor were delightful to look at! Great place to check out the jazz scene.

Everything was great. Went for a jazz duo on a Thursday. Food wasn’t what we anticipated but it was delicious nonetheless. Got the “Salmon Risotto” and although their menu does say risotto, they just mean rice. Regardless, was still very good. I got the gin martini, which was very very good. My husband got the bourbon smash which was also delicious ( I even thought so and I don’t drink bourbon).

Great service. Our waiter was attentive but not intrusive. Food was fantastic. We heard the Jazz students from McGill. All of the bands put on great shows. You definitely need to make reservations. It was packed. There’s no room for walk-ins. Leave a message; they really do call you back. The tacos were great! Oh and I don’t know what they made their fries from, but they were delicious.

This place is notorious for it's live burlesque entertainment. It's 25+ y/o to enter if i remember correctly, which is perfect. It was my first time trying out this place and omg was it worth it. I was truly amazed by the ambiance, decor and excellent service. The staff is very helpful, friendly and extremely well organized. The food is amazing, every single dish was flavorful and the plating was incredible. It's the type of dish that you could eat with your eyes. You can literally see the effort and precision on each plate. And when you eat, it's just perfect. The cocktails were very good too, my entire group loved each drink they received. The music, the performances, the food, the drinks, the dancing... everything was on point. Honestly one of the best times I've had in Montreal. Highly recommend to visit this place for the supper AND clubbing experience. It's expensive but sooo worth it.

Dinner was awesome, live entertainment was great, very unique venue with good music, lights, and a great vibe. Maria and Mirella kept the bottles flowing all night. Ask for this duo to take care of your table, you won’t be disappointed. Great gals!Definitely worth a visit, I’ll be back here for sure next time I am in Montreal.

Was there for a bachelor party and certainly did not disappoint. Beautiful staff great service. The bar is fantastic with premium quality alcohol . The music is amazing and creates a fun atmosphere. Bordel is awesome and my friends and I look forward to coming again.

Really great place to spend your evening to late night! I frequent during the late evening for the club portion - it’s fantastic. The only thing I wish they could improve on is the variety of drinks offered during the club portion. Understandable why most cocktails are no longer offered after a certain time though! Is usually quite full on weekends, plan ahead or make a reservation if needed :)

We booked LA Voute for our best friends bachelorette and this supper club Did Not Disappoint!! I can't say enough about how incredible the staff, service, food, and party atmosphere was! We did the group menu and added a Tomahawk steak. The presentation was outstanding and the food absolutely 5 Star. Throughout the meal there were various live musical performances and acrobatics, just stunning. After dinner they remove tables and whe whole place turns into a club. We had the owners table beside the DJ booth for the after party and it was amazing. The GM Brian and all the servers took incredible care to ensure our whole group was having a great time. Will definitely be going back again!

Very expensive, but anyone going here already knows that. Although our waitress was nice, the service was very slow. We only got drinks and deserts. Drinks were very good, desert was crazy expensive. We had the assortment of their desserts for 120$ and omg was it overpriced for what we got. Also, we all got charged 4$ each for our glasses of water which was poured for us from a carafe, so for all we know it was tap water and not Eska as they claimed when we confronted them. They didn't even ask us if we wanted any water, just poured it in so we all assumed it was tap water. What a scam. The lights here are stunning, the music was bad so barely anyone was dancing. As for shows, there were 3 shows that were impressive, and the rest it was just a girl on the bar swinging lights in her hands.

La Voute is the restaurant/bar duo to head to with a group of 10+ when visiting Montreal. Book the dinner and the bottle service through their website and contact them, you won’t regret it. Top-notch on the aesthetic and ambiance, phenomenal experience, excellent service, splendid & beautiful food presentation, delicious cocktails and fairly priced. The music is such a vibe. We booked for a Friday night, had a live show during dinner, and it turns into a club at 11 pm. Everyone in my group was satisfied.

Hands down the best clubbing experience ever!!! I’ve only been to a handful of clubs in Canada but La Voute beats them all!! The ultimate clubbing experience in Montreal has to be here. They have live performances and techno music to keep the crowd entertained. The drinks are a bit pricey and the bartenders don’t shy away from tipping themselves graciously :/ Highly recommended if you’re in Montreal..

Drag show was fine. Sangria was both the most expensive and weakest I've ever had in my life. An absolute ripoff. I shouldn't be fully sober after half a pitcher. Service was terrible, which is why I'm changing my review. I asked to pay and he just hasn't come. Waited an hour and finally went up to the server for our bill. We waited an hour. He said he didn't hear me ask for the bill and thought I said I wanted to think. If he thought that, why did he never come back to our table at all. We literally could have left without paying. And then, when I didn't tip, he said I shouldn't go to restaurants if I can't afford a tip. My friend was loving the drag show and we had lots of cash, fully prepared to have a fun night, but instead she got to experience why nobody likes the Village anymore. The service is bad and the drinks are terrible.

I may have gone on an off weekend but there did not seem to be a lot of people here on a Friday night. For a place this large, you need the bodies to foster a lively atmosphere so felt a bit awkward? I would suggest aiming no earlier than 11:45pm for arrival; before that it was desolate. The music was great, and drinks well priced.

I am surprised that those few local people is still going to this place! Visiting Montreal and wanted to give a shot. It is in the heart of the village! I was inside for 1h. First of all, the entire place is ONLY CASH! yes,in 2023, we are flying over the deep universe and have connection with the rover, and at the complexe sky only accept cash!!!! I would understand only cash for the entrance plus the coat cover, but also for drinks it is like that! And of course an ATM machine is right there, beside the cash wrap where you have to pay the cover. Yes handy I do not need to leave the building for some cash,but seriously!? This is of course planned ahead.Looked sketchy to me! Once you get in, you will be sent to the 3rd floor to pay the cover, then you go on the second floor where the majority of people seemed to be! It is not a 3 floors club with all sort of rooms and music. On the second floor there are two different area with two different type of music. The place is smelly, ugly and definitely run down! When people were jumping, the entire floor was shacking! It is was so concerning to the point I thought that the entire building might crash down! Drinks are terrible. A simple vodka soda was cheap, yes, but tasted water! Terrible, terrible, terrible!!!!!!! Demographic was the only think I liked in the way that there was a lot of variation by age, gender and ethnicity! I mean, mostly on some sort of drug considering the typical smell and their chewing! But still The music playlist was ok! Fun and decent level of variation, at the least for the 1h spent there! The Bartender was kind of rude and also, what about if I do not want to tip???? He pointed to the dirty and sticky menu that tips are not included in the bill and pretty much, “told” us to tip. Please, look for better place there in the village, there are plenty of!

We visited point bar lounge after seeing them on social media and I’m so glad we went. The arepas were delicious, we got the beef and the pork belly arepas as well as the Nutella tequeños for dessert. The arepas were a great value, they don’t hold back on the meat or toppings and they were real corn arepas, crispy and fried for more flavour. I’ll be bringing my Colombian father in law here!

A nice place to hang out! Good music, the service is amazing but I'm putting three stars since the cocktails were not good, they look amazing but we couldn't feel the alcohol, we took Pina colada and it was ok, but the mai tai was pretty bad, you could feel it was made with artificial pineapple juice like the oasis brand, one of the worst mai tai, but it seems a potential place since the service is wonderful! I hope they can improve their cocktails

Where to begin, Venezuelan's latino food to it's prime! We had the most delicious snacks ever!!! Roasted Pork stuffed Arepas, Patacon pernil sandwich, Cheese and Basil fingers and of course The extra crispy fried calamari!!! We started with a raspberry Sangria Jar, The owner suggestions: we had passion fruit mojitos!!! Hayhayhay que c'est bon!!! Lastly we had the most impressive fire drinks serve at our table by Ana! You're amazing! Thanks again Gorge and staff for a great evening experience! P.S It becomes a dance floor after 11pm- Latin music all night!!! I felt back at home! It's definitely a Gem in Montreal!

Beautiful decor and ambiance. The staff is extremely knowledgeable on whisky and scotch, which the bar has a huge selection. You can ask for a 0.5oz or 1oz glass and they even have tasting sets. Even the food was good, we took the nachos to share, it was enough for 4 people. On Sundays, they have a live jazz band starting at 21h00 and they also serve 1$ oysters.

Nice place to chill and have a drink. The staff was nice, good music and a lot of choices of whiskey and other cocktails. Food was ok but the nachos were good! Its a bit pricey for what you get but once in a while is ok. I'd recommend this place to anyone especially if you are a whiskey lover!

Food was decent, drink was great and service was amazing too. Server had good knowledge about drinks and made good suggestions. BUTTTTTT the place was super cold!! We were all freezing… toooo cold we were all shivering and hands were really cold. We asked for blankets and luckily the bar had 3 blankets to give. But we couldnt stay longer from the insane cold AC we had to leave after only few drinks. I saw other review complaining about the insanely cold AC but the owner replied they cant control it. Maybe stopping the AC for every half an hour or so could work adjust the temperature? Or go really well prepared to fight the blasting AC.
