Went for a lunch buffet. Had a wide variety of different types of cuisines. Some of those were delicious and some were average. However overall it was good. Had a nice time, the environment was so calm and quiet as it was less crowded. The staff was also friendly.

Absolutely delicious food.. you hardly in general get good quality food in buffet but this place has outdone themselves.. we asked if they had chicken curry and they made us some and next day it was in the buffet too. I also said casual it would good to have more chocolate dessert.. Next day, boom its on the spread... Great to see a place to listen to their customers and the service was outstanding.. I highly recommend AYU.

There was a certain set of variations, and Thai section foods were delicious, and the lady chef was friendly. Special note on the desert buffet!. They had a wide variation of dessert available and all ar3 delicious. All the staff members were friendly. Live kitchen meat options are very less only one item. Overall, the buffet was okay

Very nice restaurant on the 4th floor at Mövenpick Hotel. Wide variety of food and a good selection for the buffet. There are liver stations and carvery as well. Desserts are also excellent. Staff is very helpful and accommodating. Friendly service. Can get busy, especially Fri to Sun, so best make reservations. Definitely recommend.

One of my favourite dinner buffets was at Harbour Court in Sri Lanka. At Harbour court, there was a pretty spectacular buffet dish. Options were plentiful and catered to a wide range of tastes and dietary requirements. Everyone could find something they liked at this buffet, regardless of whether they favour lighter, healthier selections, comfort food, or international cuisines. Most of the items were better than I had anticipated in terms of taste. It was clear that high-quality ingredients were used because of the flavours' authenticity and balance of flavours. Everything I tasted, from the vivid and fresh salads to the tender and delicious meats, demonstrated the chef's talent and love for cooking.

I recently dined at Harbour Court for their dinner buffet, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. I must say, there was absolutely nothing to complain about regarding the dinner buffet; it has easily become one of the best dinner buffets we've had in Colombo. What impressed us even more was the flexibility in dining options at Harbor Court Restaurant. They offer two time slots for dinner: the first one from 6:30 PM to 9 PM and the second round from 9:30 PM to 11 PM. Additionally, if you're in the mood for a drink, you can easily request one here. The selection of food is abundant, and each dish is bursting with flavor. I would highly recommend making a reservation in advance, as this place tends to get busy. When making your booking, be sure to mention if you're celebrating a special occasion during dinner. The staff will pleasantly surprise you with a silent event tailored to your celebration, adding an extra touch of magic to your experience. We went for a dinner buffet and the place was fully packed and clearly understaffed. We couldn't even try all the food. But all in all it was a good visit. The staff were very friendly and enthusiastic to help us. The hot food stations were enticing to watch. One of my personal favourites was watching a chef make a French dessert called Rum baba. It was delicious paired with chef recommended vanilla ice cream. The dumpling variety was disappointing though and the sushi was amiable.

I just had an unforgettable experience at a Hilton Colombo Residences Friday Dinner buffet. The dinner price included a cocktail as well. The ambience was enchanting, with elegant decor and warm lighting setting the perfect mood. Dinner consists of my favourite sushi dishes, dumplings and enough seafood and meat options. I'm thoroughly enjoying every morsel of the dishes. They had action stations for Hoppers, Pasta and BBQ. The chefs' artistry was evident in the impeccable presentation and exquisite flavours. Creamy cheesecakes, watalappan, and ice cream kottu are just some of the mouthwatering dessert options. The attentive staff made us feel like royalty, and our needs were promptly attended to. It was an evening of pure indulgence and a culinary journey that will stay with us forever.

Went for the lunch buffet priced at approximately LKR 5490. The food was adequate, nothing extraordinary. They had a variety of cuisines such as Chinese, Indian, Sri Lankan and Japanese. However, each cuisine had a limited selection. For example, the Mongolian section only had rice. In comparison, the dessert section had more to offer in terms of flavour. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Checked on us like thrice.

We had dinner on 19th of April at flow restaurant. The place was not crowded. There was a calm live music performance at the premises. Dinner buffet is available from 7 pm - 11 pm. Service was beyond the expectation. The special thing at there was the high number of live stations. More than 6 live stations were there with different food categories including hopper, meet, pazta, pizza & ice cream koththu. Buns corner - 7/10 Soup corner - 7/10 Cheese corner - 7/10 Salad corner - 6/10 Sea food corner - 5/10 Meat corner - 5/10 Indian - 5/10 Sri Lankan - 🤔 Pizza station - 🤷🏽♂️ Pasta station - 6/10 Chinese - 8/10 Japanese - 🤢 Western - 6/10 Dessert corner - 7.5/10 Buffet is not much large, limited varieties actually not worth for the price. But surrounding, live stations and service quality was great. Can’t recommend for all, flow restaurant would be great for someone who is seeking a lovely, calm n quality atmosphere for a dinner.

We ate breakfast here everyday for all 10 days of our stay and surprisingly never tired of the various offerings. Chef Rohan introduced himself on the first day and took special requests. He took really great care of us everyday! We enjoyed the buffet immensely - from the soups and South Indian, to the grilled tomatoes and scrambled eggs on toast, freshly made passion fruit juice and so much more. They provided a kids activity area on the weekends too. We also enjoyed their room service offerings. Cannot recommend this place enough!

This’ll be my favorite restaurant. It was my first time to visit there for our anniversary dinner and the food, staff,service were amazing. It’s an international buffet with different cuisines. I loved the dessert options and mostly the red velvet ice cream. We got a complimentary cake as it was our anniversary. Overall vibe is really nice and highly recommended.

Staying in the hotel for a business trip. I absolutely loved the breakfast! Fantastic pastries, including gluten-free options. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options for food, too. I'm vegetarian, so can't say anything about meat. The best thing about the restaurant is the super friendly and helpful staff. Mr. Upeksha patiently answered the ton of questions I had about the way to eat hoppers and Sri Lankan cuisine in general. Great food, great experience.

Had the dinner buffet on Friday, nothing was good in the buffet except for the Desserts. Starting from appetizers, soups, salads, nothing was remotely tasty. Even their sausages tasted funny. Had two types of rices, one was bombarded with cardamon and the other was bit gooey. For desserts they had two ice creams, elephant house vanilla and chocolate. It was all melted as well Roasted pork was not good as-well. Overall nothing was good and some items were not even remotely edible. However, customer service in the restaurant is exceptional. That was all that was good there.

Went to the dinner buffett at this place, sometimes back. Compared to other similar places the buffeett was cheaper and it had a limited but decent variety (more inclined to western palette). What more it has some great views of the city, although its best seen during evening times. Ambiance was great and would be most suitable for family gatherings or meetups. Staff was friendly and service was good.

Visited their dinner buffet last Sunday, it was not very crowded and they had a very good spread for Rs. 5500. Salads were really nice and they had soup, sushi, several seafood dishes (prawn and crab), chicken, pork, fish, sausages, pasta, rice, noodles, naan, biriyani, roast paan, hoppers, string hoppers, pizza and many other indian curries. Food was really nice and the service was also extremely good. They even had tea (ceylon tea/flavoured tea) and hot coffee (latte/cappuccino/espresso ++) in the buffet. The only drawback is that they had a limited number of desserts.

Checked out their Sunday lunch buffet and weekday executive lunch buffet. For the price, its a really good deal, however, unfortunately, their service is not upto a star class hotel standard. The waiting staff was ok, but when I made a reservation in advance for 11 pax, they were more focused on getting the total payment while the standard on the day we booked was extremely subpar. For one thing, when making the booking, I specifically mentioned a particular location of the restaurant, but neither was that area reserved, and to make matters worse, the party of 11 were located in two different tables, without providing us one long table. Because they are cheap, they tend to be crowded and possibly why they are not too keen on providing a proper star-class service, but this subpar service is one reason, I'll think twice before going back. At least at the time after receiving the payment and when I rechecked, if they said they couldn't accommodate our requests, I'd understand, but unfortunately they lack the basic training on how to communicate customer requests.

Went for a weekend lunch buffet priced LKR 4500 per adult which opens at 12.30pm and goes on until 03.30pm. Tides is located on the 2nd floor at Marino Beach Hotel. They have both indoor and outdoor dining overlooking the rhythmic ocean.The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The buffet spread was satisfactory but they definitely can improve in the variations as they lacked in the main dishes. The food was delicious and fresh. There was a live kitchen which serves pasta of your choice on request. My favorite was the desserts and the Salads. Overall I had a pleasant experience.
