Great coffee, try the cafe venetian which comes with liqueur and cream. Breakfast very nice. Just service is very slow and a little bit stiff.

The food was good, it meets expectations. But i gave it 5 stars because it's very good quality to price ratio. We got a big pizza for just 10 euros, and everything was priced reasonably. For that price, the food was very very good. We didn't order dessert, but they looked good, and also very cheap (2-5 euros). It was a great location as well, near Campo Santo Steffano. We went in spring and it was a bit nippy outside for dinner, so we asked for a table inside. Despite the number of customers, we were promptly showed a table. Fortunately, we got a quiet one inside one of their semi private rooms.

This is a cafe to my opinion not very Italian. Pastries here are flavourful, light and tasty. You won’t miss it if you are on your way to the academy bridge. I was here in January 2023, and in August I am here again😀

Two of the three breads served as couvert were rock hard. Plain cheese omelette was extremely overpriced for what it was, nothing special at all. The cappuccino and parm sandwich, however, was good.

We stopped in after a long evening of touring around and seeing sights. I had the Gorgonzola e Speck Pizza and my partner had the Spaghetti alla Carbonara. The pizza was delicious; plenty amounts of both gorgonzola and speck. However I did find the tomato base to be a bit sharp, and it maybe needed a bit more reducing down, but it could just be this particular night, and not representative of how it typically is. The pasta was cooked al dente and served with plenty of fresh parmegiano reggiano and all round was delicious. The only fault I have is that I had to ask twice for our prosecco to be delivered, however this could just be because it was such a busy night and they were very busy! All round a pleasurable experience and I would visit again!

Amazing restaurant. They have great selection of food and excellent service. We had the pizza and the recommended pasta—-all were delicious and did not disappoint. Make sure you leave room for dessert because their tiramisu is something to behold. The place was very comfortable and a welcomed escape from the heat of the summer. Lastly, make sure you try their special spritz drink—it is a balance of refreshing and quenching drink that will not disappoint. Cheers!

The best restaurant I found in Venice by a mile. The food was awesome with a great variety, it opens all day, the staff is quick and kind, and the atmosphere music was great, I found myself using Shazam a couple of times. If you're around Ferrovia in Venice you have to go to La Lista

Popped in for a quick dinner that was close to my hotel after a long day. I had a gluten free pizza. It wasn’t a freshly made base but was still a great pizza. The service wasn’t great. Quite blunt and non-attentive. They play American country music…? Anyways. Not bad, but not amazing.

Caco Nero is located outside of the tourist area and I was very much looking forward to mingling among the locals. I ordered pasta with octopus but found the octopus portion to be very meagre. I didn’t feel like eating bare pasta and left it almost untouched. A blonde girl said sorry and collected the whole payment without offering anything else or asking why I didn’t like it. I left the bistro hungry and disappointed.

Amazing crepes, would 100% recommend! It’s nice to have something in Italy that separates from all the pastas and pizzas. Love that they serve both sweet and savoury, they seemed happy to take out/add ingredients to pancakes. My partner asked for no mushrooms so instead they offered to include tomatoes for him which he accepted. Customer service is great and prices are more than reasonable.

Just arriving in Venice and we walked 15 min to get here. I ordered three savory and two sweet. The crepes were delicious. I ordered pistachios and strawberry and my daughter Banana Joe, and they were yummy . The owners were very kind. They gave us directions to our Airbnb. Be aware of Seagulls. One of them took my crepe 😔 😃

Best vegan restaurant we have come across in Italy and Europe! The vegan crepes were amazing, the service was so quick and the staff were really friendly. My friend also got a salami panini which was equally as good. 1000% recommend - wish we had more time to go back!

Reviews:
The atmosphere was nice, but the service could be improved. We ordered three colas but only received two, and the fries were too salty and not peeled. The pizza was decent, but we got a beer that we didn’t ask for and had to pay 7 euros for it. The pasta was also cold and expensive.

Came here for coffee between trains. It’s right across the street and very easy to get to from the platforms (2 minutes). Service was quick and the cappuccino was delicious. Croissants were fresh and tasty too. 🥐 ☕️

My morning start with so nice place near train station. I decided between hostel or outside for breakfast and it was right choice of place. So good quality of food and service 🥰 Croissant with pistachio was amazing, all sweets looks so delicious that it’s difficult to choose.

We had a two hour stopover in Mestre station and this cafe was across the street, so convenient! And we’re so glad we came in, it’s an awesome cafe! Great service, good food and chill ambience. The line was long but was fast enough. Plenty of cosy seatings and clean toilets. 5 stars!

Was looking for tiramisu everywhere in Venezia but had no luck as they were all sold out. Saw this place by chance and they have a really good tiramisu! However, one of the staff was a bit rude.

While staying in a nearby vacation apartment, Majer anchored our morning routine. Lovely setting right on the water, delicious pastries (we particularly enjoyed the croissant filled with berry jam and the apple pastry), and solid service. You must order inside and then find a seat outside to relish the scenes of boat traffic, locals hurrying to catch the public person-ferries called vaporetto, and mainland Venice just across the way. We ate here for dinner once. We wanted to love it but we felt the flavor fell short considering salt, heat, and fat are essential for delicious food- all of which were tentative. Though, the food looked spectacular. Our strongest dinner recommendation was the tiramisu. It was the best we’ve had.

Went there last week for diner with my family of 4. We all loved the food (they even have a great burger which the kids loved) the presentation and the service. A little pricy but very worth the extra cost compared to the neighbouring restaurants and the ones on the main Venizia island. The decomposed Tiramisu was a must!

Majer is always a solid choice in Venice - their Guidecca spot is no exception. Very friendly service, and a nice atmosphere, though more cramped than other Majer locations. Good coffee and cornetto, perfect as a breakfast or pick-me-up.
