Great hospitality. The service time is awesome. They have awesome hosts. They have limited brunch menu. The must try are French toast. The water glass have egg smell (not good here). The interior is well decorated. The parking can be a problem at times. They have fixed service fee of 15%.

Excellent ambience with good service. The food was delicious. We tried the French toast, aesthetically presented and used a croissant bread instead of the white bread generally used in diners, served with fruit and matcha cream. It was quite filling. They don’t allow substitutions in their menu which narrows down choices for vegetarian and vegan folks.

Great place for Italian food in Redwood city. Food are fresh and tasty. Vibe is great as it is surrounded by nice, safe and quiet neighborhood. People are friendly and warm welcomed. I tried the Duck Pappardelle. I love the pasta, very fresh. The size is similar to the Chinese thick noddle. Sauce is tasty and the duck meat is well cooked and soft. Bravo! Outside sitting is great. It is dog friendly restaurant. You can easily find street parking.

Came here for Sunday brunch and the line was long right when they opened at 11am. Definitely recommend making a reservation early in the week if you want a table inside. We ended up getting the last table inside next to the door. It was ok, better than sitting outside where it's much colder these days. Inside is really cute, and you get a great view of the Belmont hills and the cute neighborhood if you're looking outside. Service was nice and friendly, but you can only get the menu by scanning on your phone. Which is ok in most cases, but we took longer to order since only one person at the table had a phone. We started with drinks and ordered coffee, cocktails and orange juice. I was expecting the OJ to be freshly squeezed but it wasn't. Still tasted good though. Cocktails were great! I got a nice large latte cup. The best 2 dishes out of the 4 were ordered were the colossal omelette and house breakfast. Colossal omelette had braised beef brisket, very different from any omelette we ever had and tasty. Would definitely come back and try other dishes on the menu.

I had the pleasure of trying the Tom Yum soup and rice with shrimps at this Thai restaurant, and it was an exceptional experience. Even though I don't consider myself a foodie, I was thoroughly impressed. The flavors were incredibly authentic, and the spice level was spot on, just as I had hoped. The Tom Yum soup was a delightful blend of tangy and spicy, while the fried rice with shrimp was cooked to perfection. I have to say that I'll be returning for more of this delicious Thai cuisine! THANK YOU!

Great place for the whole family. Simple yet elegant Thai decor. Families favorite dishes are the yellow curry, calamari, shaken beef and the duck. Don’t forget the dessert, especially the mango sticky rice. Dining in can sometimes get chilly.

I was excited to try this place for the first time and ended up being Very disappointed. Order the Pad Thai and panang curry for take out. Pad Thai flavor was off, bland and overcooked noodles. The panang was bland and not quite what I expected it to be. Also ordered the papaya salad, which was not the traditional papaya salad that I would have expected. I was really hoping for good Thai but I was so disappointed in the meal. Cost was not worth it. The restaurant dine in area looked comfortable and staff was nice when I walked in to grab the take out, just sorely dissatisfied with the food.

The best Thai food ever! Shaken Beef was amazing, pad see ewe (sorry to butcher the spelling!) Was delicious! I was so excited to start eating that I forgot to take the picture until after I already dug in. I loved the fried banana with coconut ice cream. Thank you!!!

A surprisingly large dim sum restaurant that doesn't have a huge line the minute it opens but is packed by 12pm. They have multiple round tables that could seat 6-12 people as well as small tables for 2-4. Dishes were fresh, yummy, and came out quickly. Now that more people are discovering this restaurant, it's starting to feel like a normal dimsum spot with long lines, busy and sometimes impatient staff, and average cleanliness but this is still our favorite place to go when relatives are in town! However... More like a 3 star if you go outside dim sum times. Service and atmosphere are great during these times but the food quality is average.

If you like dim sum with lighter taste, this might be a place for you! No push-carted style. Steamed dim sum are probably cooked with their private recipes which is very different from others, yet not the authentic type of taste though, especially the Siau Mai is to be frank, lacking of the needed ingredients. Steamed Sticky Rice is average and believe there is room for improvement. Tea is great. Service is good. Having said that, the price is on the high side. Parking is free.

The food was delicious. BBQ Pork was super tender. The roasted Duck was juicy and tender. The fried wontons were awesome. Biting into you can see the ingredients inside, which is always good. The 2 egg fried rice was super moist, and rice was perfectly cooked. The wonton soup was light, and the wontons were the same as the fried, so that was a plus. The steak strips with mushrooms were super flavorful and balanced perfectly well with a bite of the rice. Ask for the dim sum menu as they do not give it to you right away. We thought it was only for lunch since we did not see it on the menubut saw a family get a bunch right after we had ordered.

Great authentic Chinese dim sum restaurant. the facade is a bit plain, but the inside is a nice restaurant. Saturday morning totally full by 11 am. lots of happy families enjoying dim sum dishes. delicious food. yes, we'll return.

We (6 people) went there to celebrate a special occasion. We were not greeted but seated right away. We ordered 9 dishes. All but 2 dishes were salty. The food was over seasoned, didn't taste authentic. Rice was not included, we asked for 4 bowls of rice but they never brought it to us (we weren't charged for it). We were there 20 min and still had not received water. When we asked one of the servers, she pointed to the water counter and said "over there" and walked away. We were confused, didn't know if we were supposed to get our water. The whole duck dish didn't look like a whole duck, more like half a duckling. Don't order noodles with your lobster so you can see if you actually got the whole lobster. Not a great experience. Will not return.

This spot was recommended to us by a friend. Every bite is melt in your mouth delicious. You know it’s a good sushi spot when their sushi rice is perfect. The ratio of the rice to fish is exactly how it should be done. Hands down our favorite spot. We usually get take out. Easy to order by phone or online. No issues with pick up times we usually place our orders 30 minutes before arriving. Staff is always courteous. Parking is on the back street or usually you can find some street parking right in front. If you love sushi you have to check out this local gem.

Great local sushi place. The interior is intimate and the wait staff is friendly and efficient. There is a good selection of sushi and there are daily specials as well. There is a restroom but need to go outside to access it. The sushi tacos are good as well as the unagi don and unagi nigiri. Authentic Japanese sushi, not trendy.

This restaurant is run by Chinese not Japanese. Inside the restaurant can only sit for 6 tables. Service is fast and friendly. Price is reasonable. Food is fresh. However, it is not authentic Japanese style food. But we will definitely visit it again. We have free pudding to finish our meal. Recommended to everyone.

I m very disappointed by the size of the fish , wished I had taken picture . fish size is literally size of 2 thumbnails / 1.5 quarters . The size of their fish and sushi is 1/3 comparing to other Japanese restaurant , with same price point . Know they have to cut cost , but this is too much ! The size is only worth if they are selling 50% from the menu price, since size is 50% less than any ordinary adult food size! but ordered chirashi & wood pressed sushi .the wood pressed sushi is 85% rice , fish on it is super thin , thick like 3 dimes stack together . Again tiny size like 1.5 quarter put together. Rice is warm , very weird for sushi rice . The fish are good size for growing infants not adult ! The 2 star is for the Millie crepe cake which surprisingly is the highlight of the meal ! As good as lady M

To go review: chose a local spot for dinner and it was alright. Our rolls were a bit smaller than expected at that price point but I guess that's inflation right? The inside of the restaurant seemed TINY though like the size of a 1 car garage. Anyways, the 49ers roll was decent but I think 3 sake hand rolls would be a better value haha. Food: 7/10 Value: 4/10

From the outside, I wasn't sure if I would like this place. After being seated, the restaurant had a nice vibe. I had a chorizo egg burrito (no potatoes) and with jalapeños added. I also asked for the salsa. Well, my meal was really good. Service was quick to refill the coffee cups as well. Nice turn-around from what an initial impression from the outside. I went there for breakfast during a recent business trip and will be returning when I'm back in the area. Felt like a good wholesome meal. Very pleased.

Simply put, do not come here. You won't be treated like family. You will NEVER see a server after placing your order. They will forget your meal. Won't bring you napkins or utensils. RESTROOM: N/A SERVICE: Service was absolutely abysmal. We ordered a breakfast plate and a lunch plate. It took exceptionally long to get the chili burger and my wife's meal NEVER came out. The server who took our order never came by our table after we ordered. Never. Someone else brought me my chili burger but we weren't given any napkins or utensils. No one came by to check on us. Ever. 10 minutes after my food came we realized that my wife's meal was probably never coming. I went inside to confront them. They didn't acknowledge the mistake or offer any kind of apology. Nothing. They just said they'd bring it out. Another 15 minutes the food came out. Even after I went and paid for the food they never offered us to go boxes. Absolutely horrible service. And this places motto is they treat you like family. If anything we felt unwelcome. FOOD: chili burger was not hot or very warm. The fries were burnt. My wife barely ate any of her omlette as by this time she had lost her appetite from the horrible experience PRICE: Roughly $34 for a breakfast plate and a lunch plate which is I feel is definitely on the reasonable side. CLEANLINESS: 4/5

Fantastic little brunch spot with an extensive menu. Outdoor dining was perfect, and service was as excellent as the food. I loved the chicken fried steak with hash browns and pancakes, and my wife loved the huevos rancheros with an extra kick from the spicy sauce they provided on the side. No frills, just solid delicious food. Definitely recommended if you're looking for a breakfast or brunch in the area.

I love the clay pots, which have plenty of crispy rice. The pea shoots were fresh and cooked just right and the salt pepper pork chop was delicious. Prices are reasonable for the portions and the area. Service takes a while when the restaurant is full. I think the wait is worth it!

My husband and I came here occasionally today and were both surprised by their food quality— they are amazing and super good! After I moved from NJ to CA, this is the first Chinese restaurant that has been shocked me by its taste! We ordered three regular dishes to see how good they were—House Hainan chicken lunch plate, black bean spare ribs and beef chow fun. The house hainan chicken tastes super fresh and juicy! The black bean spare ribs is amazing and absolutely delicious- ribs are tender and the rice is scrumptious ! Their amount is quite huge and we were full after two dishes. The beef chow fun was taken to home and it’s also very good! The staffs are very friendly and nice. Tea is free.And the price is reasonable($20-30/person ) For those who want to try authentic Cantonese cuisine, it’s the best one and I highly recommended it! Definitely i will come back to try again!

First time being here. Food tastes really great! Very impressed with the eel clay pot rice, the seafood tofu, hand shredded chicken, and the stir fried beef noodle. So happy to have the authentic cantonese food. Food portion is also large.

We love eating here as the service is really great and there are two large round tables. Surprisingly, it doesn't get overly loud inside even when all the tables are full, so you can actually have a conversation. Eating here is a great way to feed a lot of people as the dishes are generously sized. Favorites are all the porridges, house special pan fried noodle, fish fillet with green (usually zucchini), peking spareribs, and string bean with chicken. The family that runs this restaurant is really, really nice too! Tip: We love getting takeout from here but you need to plan ahead. The restaurant is really popular during prime time meal hours so if we order too close to 6pm we've had to wait 30-45min past our quoted time for food.

We usually come here for the eel clypot rice and wasabi chicken. Both are my favorites. It serves typical chinese food. Food is tasty, and the portion is generous. Price is reasonable. It has limited spaces, so it can fill up quickly. When we we were there it was full house. The owner is one take the order and very friendly.
