The owner's statement here is on point, plating up Auburn's finest. No argument about that, but compared to my fine dinning experiences, this is at the most 3 stars. I liked the train depot vibe though. The wine menu is limited, mostly domestic Nappa Valley type of line up, very little imports and wine pairing. Only 3 appetizer items? A tiny 4 bite $14 Harvest salad which I thought was half sized, the crab dip, and the oyster rockefeller. The seafood was fresh, good size oysters, standard vinegar, horseradish, seafood sauce dipping. Clean. The famous crab dip, to me was too salty and lack depth, overpowered the crab meat taste. The duck breasts with Asian flair my friend ordered shouldn't be on the menu, the sauce was overly reduced, and the meat was overly done for duck. The steaks on the other hand were OK, temperature was right. But the meat quality is far from what it should be. The Waygu New York Strip cut that I had was no where near the marbling and tenderness a Waygu should be, it is just a normal New York Strip to me. Finally the service was mostly ok but the servers got confused over the steaks because the sizes were all over the place. The 12oz Waygu that I had was a same size as the 16oz Rib Eye that my friend ordered and the other 12oz Waygu was more like 16oz. For the area, not much to choose from so this is probably the best you can get.

This place is great. It's a bit pricey, but the food is worth it, and I am only mentioning it so you're prepared. The train passed by while I was there, and it was awesome to see, and it right outside the window, there is no missing it.

The only bad thing about our meal was the feeling that we had somehow been slighted: we've been living here two years without trying it before now. The trout was unbelievably good - as was the amberjack and crab dip!!

Great cocktails and oysters. Service and atmosphere are also great. Entrées just sometimes disappoint. I would love to give it 5 stars, but I have had just had too many ok meals to do so. They do have a great bourbon selection and the bread pudding is 🔥.

I hate to have to make this review. I’ve been a long time customer of Bombay Grill. My family ate in there this week. The food tasted great as always. The atmosphere is terrible. It’s pretty dirty and in dire need of updates and repairs. That’s not the worst of it though. We found a beer bottle top in our rice. It was covered and packed with rice. Absolutely disgusting. We brought it to our waitresses attention and she apologized and took the rice off the bill. We were not looking for her to do anything else but because of this situation we will never be back.

The restaurant smelled amazing the moment we opened our car doors. We went inside and there was no host stand. Confused, we waited by the door to be seated. A breeze wafted through the restaurant from the open back door. A woman soon approached and seated us. She brought us water and took our order promptly. Throughout our experience here she was very kind, helpful, and polite. We waited for our food for around twenty minutes. The wait was definitely worth it. Our food was fragrant and delicious, and the portions were generous. I had the vegetable korma with garlic naan and my boyfriend had the mutter mushroom with Bombay naan. Everything tasted amazing. Altogether an enjoyable experience. I’m also very glad they have so many vegetarian options. We will definitely be back!

Need to change review on the basis of my recent review. Bad customer service and rude to Indian costumer's knowing we are the people who frequently visit this place. The owner was taking our order it wasn't that we were late we came at 9pm as the restaurant closes at 10pm, still we found him to be rude as gave us lassi without straw and giving us bad service as compared to others present in the restaurant with us. I would give them zero star as off our last thrusday buffet experience, we were served some chicken which was so dry and chewy which we felt it leftover from afternoon buffet. Don't ever go for their buffet menu as it expensive and not worth, try to ordering for fresh food from the menu. It is one of the worst Indian restaurant in Alabama, the TV is never in sync for one time. Let them figure the their TV configuration first before you think to order from the restaurant or come to this restaurant !

I’ve been a regular customer for yearsssss! And pains me to give a bad review. They’re unorganized they were taking orders of people after us. THERE ISNT A RICE SHORTAGE!! Walmart, They give you a bowl full of food but not enough rice to finish your meal comfortably, it’s $5 for a SMALL plate of rice! If you get a meal it should be way less than that. The ONLY good employee is the bigger girl. She’s the absolute best person ever. But yeah that whole rice situation and the way we were served last time really hurt me. I’m bringing my own basmati rice next time. I literally find it everywhere I go for cheap. I know they don’t get their supply straight from India for them to blaming it on that

When we picked out all the old chicken the meal was okay. The chicken served us was definitely old and very tough. Probably won’t order again and it’s too bad, it’s the only Indian restaurant in the area. And no I didn’t call to complain, a restaurant knows when it’s serving old food. 🤢

I am editing this to say the grilled chicken was so tough I barely could chew it literally the worst five dollars I’ve ever spent First of all, when I tried to place my order, the person working at the drive-through, kept interrupting me, so when I proceeded to get around to the window, and they tell me the total, I knew it was incorrect. So I asked them if they heard me order a milkshake to which the guy mumbled nah. I then asked if I could add one on and you would think that I asked for a kidney. Literally the worst service ever. Then as I pull away and unwrap my $4.85 sandwich literally the piece of grilled chicken breast was smaller than a chicken nugget. Do better cook out

The drive thru took 60 minutes. I will never come back if there’s a line. Absolutely awful!!!! The food is not ever worth that!!!!! I only got fries, quesadilla, and white cheddar cheese bites. Not that hard!!!!! This place needs to shut down if they don’t enough people to take care of it. I have never seen something like this. It’s called fast food for a reason. Nothing about it is fast. I’m never coming back here ever again.

Maybe I’m stubborn but Mikata has always delivered such good food with great service that I’ve never really ventured anywhere else to get Japanese food. For me, it’s the best sushi I’ve ever had. Tastes extremely fresh and well prepared. Decent prices and nice atmosphere.

We sat at the bar on a busy evening. The bartender handled the situation as best should could with the load put on her. 1 bartender making all the drinks in the restaurant and the bar and a seating area to cover seems like alot but what do you do when people don't want to work? The sushi was fresh and tasty! The steak and chicken habichi was very flavorful.

We were in town looking to buy a new house and found this GEM! We were able to celebrate an anniversary here and really enjoyed the moment. The vibe was right. The food was fantastic. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to come back and try more items on the menu. Definitely can’t go wrong with their bison burger!

Who doesn't love a bacon flight!? The steak was cooked perfectly as ordered. Everything had a lot of flavor. It's a nice low key setting and the staff was excellent. We will for sure go back next time we are in town.

We had to wait for about 40 minutes for a table, so we got a drink from the bar and waited in the back room. Our waitress was excellent, her recommendations were perfect. The 100 layer lasagna was very good. If you want to try the lasagna it is only served on Sunday. If you want to try it get there early as they do run out. We got there are 7pm and I think we got the last two pieces. If you are in the area I highly recommend The Hound.

This little “Gem” is what I’d like to refer to as a hole in the wall! Don’t judge a book by its cover! So very glad we came! Enjoyed the bacon flight, meatloaf and the absolute best pork chop ever! Wonderful atmosphere and service! Shelby was amazing! Definitely would recommend this establishment to everyone!

I have had brunch here twice and was extremely impressed both times. The Huevos Houndcheros are fabulous. The service is great as is the atmosphere. The place is big but can get crowded. I did notice that the bar has over a dozen taps.

Tried this place again this Fall after a disappointing experience in the Spring. Not good at all. Bruscetta was lukewarm. No olive oil. No black pepper. No grated cheese at the table for the pastas we ordered. The cheese came in a to go condiment cup. Had to ask olive oil. No fresh cracked black pepper. No bread. One of our orders was decent. My Cacciatora with veal was watery and the veal was touch. Tried to cut it with the knife. It wont budged. Told and showed the waitress the veal. She just walked off. You can also see a clove of garlic on the plate. Paid 25$. 29 with tips.

We ordered on DoorDash and we never got the message it was delivered, no knock on the door or anything and we couldn’t get updates through their website either. I ordered the chicken parm sub which came absolutely burnt yet somehow still soggy, also ordered the bruschetta which they put with the bread so it was also soggy, and my husband got the lasagna which would’ve been too small of a portion if it was edible. Looks like it had been in the fridge for a week and I don’t even want to know what the mystery sauce that looked like vomit was made of. To top it all off the salad strawberry vinaigrette was CHUNKY. I’d give it 0 stars if I could.

I make my own Pasta sauce, but there's blew me away even though it had a little too much cheat for me. But but it is probably the best Italian restaurant. I've had in a very long time.

When we arrived at 5:00 we were the only ones in the dining room, but they had two very large tables reserved plus a number of four tops reserved. I'm glad we arrived early because I can only imagine how slammed the kitchen got once the two large parties arrived and they had 25 people to service at the same time. The service we received was friendly and welcoming, and the complimentary breads with garlic oil dip was phenomenal! Everything from the mozzarella sticks and calamari appetizers to the chicken saltimbocca and pepperoni pizza were delicious.

I did a pickup. Said it would be ready at a certain time. Went about 5 mins after that. Still had to wait 10 more minutes. No problem. Food was good but not great. Prices were very high for nothing. I ordered the famous lasagna and that's all I got was lasagna. There was no bread. No, nothing to go with it. Very small piece for a dinner portion. There were a good many people inside the restaurant, though I don't think I would have ever gone there. One and done for me. I also ordered the tomato soup which was okay. And I also ordered the mozzarella sticks which were very run of the mill plain.

I ordered 1️⃣ Kimchi Jjigae with Grilled Mackerel 2️⃣ Spicy Soft Tofu Soup with Stir Fried Spicy Pork 3️⃣ Nae Jang Tang The first menu (Kimchi Jjigae) was toooo sweet and too salty. But grilled Mackerel was fine 🙂 The second food was good! Especially, stir fried spicy port was tasty :) The third food was the best menu today😋 It has good flavor and whenever I come to this restaurant, I order this food often, and it is always delicious! Overall, the earthen pot kept the food warm, so we could eat hot smoked food from start to finish!!

It's a great place to sit down and get some great food. The service was really great and food was served fast didn't have to wait long. The food was really good, the best I've had in a while when it comes to eating Korean food. The dish sizes were more than I expected in a good way. Only really came for the ramen but glad we tried the other dishes. Got kakuni ramen (below), miso kakuni ramen, sundae, Tteokbokki, naruto bowels, gyoza, chicken bowel. Will be going back soon great place to eat.

My first time eating at a Korean restaurant. The food is certainly very authentic as the menu is written in Korean with English notes. The staff is helpful in explaining what things are and making suggestions for what we might like. We have had some Korean food before as we have had a frozen beef bilgolgi and I have made a chicken version from scratch. My daughter opted for a beef bilgolgi hot pot, while my wife chose a ramyun hot bow. I chose the special which was a choice of several Korean soups and stews as well as a main dish. I chose the kimchi stew and the beef bilgolgi. This came with additional sides of kimchi, sweet potatoes in honey, radish kimchi, pickles, and fish something. All of it was good and while some was spicy, nothing was tongue torchingly hot. The authenticity of the place was brought home as other guest arrived. We we first but the next five groups that arrived were Korean who conversed with the staff in Korean. If you are an experienced foodie with a knowledge of Korean cuisine or adventurous, by all means try this delightful place. If you are a newbie to the food, do a little research then dive in. Enjoy!

This is one of the best restaurants in Auburn and absolute best Korean restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of eating at in Alabama. I recognize genuine Korean flavor and mannerisms due to my upbringing and growing up in South Korea. The service and food received was top notch and the staff was super friendly. Portion size is huge and the price is very affordable. This is Korean dining done right. My fiancé and I were both very very pleased and amazed with everything your restaurant has to offer. Amazing chefs, servers, and food here. If you want affordable Korean dining and some of the best service do eat here. Even if you have never tried Korean food I highly recommend going and picking a few items and enjoying the food. You can’t choose a wrong item on their menu. We will be eating here again and again. I look forward to the Korean fried chicken next time 🍗😁
